Balto presents the Advanced Pool Sessions for the winter of 2023/24 in Athy. Scheduled to take place at K Leisure, Athy, the sessions offer two time slots: 5-6 pm and 6-7 pm. The first session caters to Juniors and L1-2 skills paddlers looking to enhance their rolling techniques, with assistance from more experienced paddlers in the second session. The latter is reserved for paddlers with L3 abilities and above to focus on their individual learning needs. While these sessions are self-guided with no formal instruction, fellow members will be available for assistance as needed. Participants are required to wear helmets at all times, with freestylers confined to the deep end for safety reasons. Paddlers must arrive by 5:45 pm as the car park closes promptly at 7:15 pm. Please note that only Balto KC members with a valid CI member number are eligible to attend, with prior approval from the committee necessary for non-members. Refunds are only possible up to a week before the event date. Adherence to the club's constitution, code of conduct, and safeguarding policies is mandatory for all participants. Tickets are priced at €11.53.
