The winter 2023/24 Balto Rolling Sessions are all set to commence at Athy's K Leisure. Scheduled for March 3, 2024, there will be two sessions available from 5-6 pm and 6-7 pm. The initial session caters to Juniors and L1-2 skills paddlers aiming to learn to roll, while the latter session is tailored for L3 ability and above paddlers to focus on their individual learning needs. Participants are required to wear helmets at all times, with freestylers confined to the deep end for safety reasons. To ensure a smooth flow, all paddlers must arrive at the pool by 4:30 pm for the first session and 5:45 pm for the second session, as the car park closes promptly at 7:15 pm. These sessions are exclusively for Balto KC members, unless non-members have prior approval from the committee and hold a current CI member number. Cancellations and refunds are only possible up to one week before the event date. The club's regulations, code of conduct, and safeguarding policies are in effect throughout the pool sessions.
