CHAMELEON PRESENTS: UPLIFT is an unmissable event taking place in Manchester on November 17, 2023. This triple bill showcases the exceptional talent of some of the North West's most exciting Dance Makers. Throughout autumn, Chameleon has welcomed three companies to their home studios, providing them with invaluable support to create, adapt, and develop their dance works. This year's UPLIFT Artists include Douglas Thorpe, the founder of Mad Dogs Dance Theatre, who has an impressive portfolio of works for renowned dance companies. Also featured is Jordan Sheard, a Manchester-based mover, maker, and producer, known for her passionate commitment to making dance accessible to all. Lastly, SheSomaDance, a female-led collective, composed of Maea Morgan and Lucy Halfpenny, will captivate the audience with their exploration of authentic female identity. This event offers a unique opportunity to witness these works in progress and provide valuable feedback.
