Introducing the COVENTRY YOUTH BASKETBALL SKILLS ACADEMY, a 4-session skills series designed specifically for young basketball players in Coventry. Led by a team of experienced coaches, including former College and NBA/GLG Coaches, Tyler Neal, Steve McNees, and Kevin Christie, this series offers a unique opportunity for boys in grades K-6 to enhance their skills and basketball IQ. Over the course of 2 weeks, participants will engage in a comprehensive program that focuses on improving various aspects of their game. From dynamic ball handling techniques to efficient shooting, defensive concepts, finishing at the basket, and a deeper understanding of basketball concepts, players will gain the tools they need to excel on the court. The sessions will be divided based on grade levels, with Grades K-2 from 4:30pm to 5:15pm and Grades 3-6 from 5:15pm to 6:00pm. The venue for this event is the Coventry Elementary Gym, located at 3089 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319. The COVENTRY YOUTH BASKETBALL SKILLS ACADEMY will take place on the following dates: Tuesday, October 31st; Thursday, November 2nd; Tuesday, November 9th; and Thursday, November 11th.
