Join the Creative Writing workshop, "Objects and Detail," held at the Jubilee Library in Brighton and Hove on March 8, 2024. Led by Mick Jackson, an acclaimed novelist and visiting lecturer at West Dean College of Arts and Conservation, this workshop aims to delve into the role of objects in storytelling. Discover how objects can shape a plot, inspire creativity, and enhance the authenticity of a fiction. Through analyzing various extracts and engaging in writing exercises, participants will develop their observational skills and learn to find the extraordinary within the ordinary. This workshop is part of a series of four Weekend Schools designed for both existing students of the Creative Writing Programme and other writers seeking to enhance specific aspects of their craft.
