From ephemeral letterbox flyers to rare tomes from centuries past, the Library collects a multitude of formats! Each year it adds approximately 57,000 published items to the collection, with a focus on documenting life in NSW and Australia. Join curators Alice Tonkinson and Sarah Morley for an evening of newly acquired published delights, including private press books, mid-century travel posters, ephemera and twentieth-century first editions. Sarah Morley is the Coordinator of Published Collections at the State Library of NSW. She has worked extensively with the Library’s archival and printed collections. Focusing on manuscripts, rare books and children’s literature, Sarah’s work encompasses collection acquisition, access, promotion and interpretation. She has curated numerous exhibitions and displays for the Library, most recently For All Time: Shakespeare in print. Alice Tonkinson is a librarian in the Collection Acquisition & Curation branch. With a background in history and museum and heritage studies, Alice has worked extensively with the Library’s maps, ephemera and posters collections. She has curated numerous displays and exhibitions at the Library, including Maps of the Pacific. This library is so well equipped!!! I end up going there every day📚💛
Aside from being able to borrow books, there&#39;s also study and work space, presentation practice space, printing, a cafe, and more...
And there&#39;s even a fully-equipped exhibition space✨✨
By the way, the exhibits seem to change depending on the period.
What is this all-inclusive library!! 😭
By the way, there&#39;s also plenty of WiFi.

Lovely experience! Some animals like koala, kangaroos, giraffes were not caged and you can look at them and even come closer ✨ However , many animals were hiding or taking a nap far from where people can see them. the zoo is quite hilly so I recommend going to the main entrance on top of the zoo when you arrive so your exploration feels easier.

Watching Carmen at the Sydney Opera House was truly an unforgettable experience. This classic historical work, presented in a new guise, explores the age-old debate: is love a code of responsibility or a shackle on the free soul? We witnessed this timeless argument once again. The scenery is stunning, a natural oxygen bar. The scenic area retains the original forest atmosphere while also offering modern cable car transportation.
I really enjoyed the downhill train ride. The nearly vertical slope was a bit thrilling, but the speed wasn&#39;t too fast, perfect for beginners like us who enjoy a bit of fun.

Seeing sharks and manta rays at the aquarium, and taking a boat trip to see penguins up close, as well as all sorts of colorful fish, was a great experience.
