Flow into Creativity: A Somatic Exploration of Nature, Movement, and Writingwith Daphne Chua & Sharon Kaur 
What if creativity could flow as effortlessly as fluids, as naturally as the changing light of the seasons?  Join us for a 3-hour workshop that weaves gentle, somatic movement with intuitive writing practices, an invitation to explore the sensory richness in the direct experience of the body-mind. Together, we’ll reconnect with the rhythms of the body, the dynamics of nature’s elements, and the boundless possibilities of creative flow.This workshop is for everyone—whether you’re new to movement, writing, or both.  Through somatic, body-centered practices, we’ll explore the qualities of the body’s fluid system and their relationships to movement, touch, breath, and states of mind.  By tuning into how we perceive gravity, space, smells, sounds, light, and color, we’ll awaken the imagination, deepen imagination, and rediscover the joy of composition. Embodied Awareness: Guided somatic movement to connect with the body’s communication and transportation systems—the fluids that underlie presence, transformation, and flow.  Inspiration from the Senses: Explorations that attune to the sensory world, supporting awareness of the present moment and sparking creative imagination. She applies principles form her studies in the School for Body Mind Centering®, kinesiology, embodied anatomy & physiology through somatics, evidence-based research on the nervous system, trauma physiology, as well as Body Mind Centering. She also has been dancing Contact Improvisation for more than a decade, and facilitates improv workshops using BMC® principles in embodiment and creative expressions. Daphne has helped people of all ages rehabilitate injuries, regain neuromotor functions, manage chronic pain, and work through trauma. She also creates holistic therapeutic trainings and mentorship programs for individuals, movement teachers, fitness instructors, healthcare and corporate professionals.More info on Daphne at www.somatictherapy.asia About Sharon Sharon Kaur is an educator-turned-somatic explorer, currently in her fourth year of Feldenkrais Method® training under Alan Questel, a direct student of Moshe Feldenkrais. With eight years of experience teaching English language and literature, Sharon holds a BA (Education) and CELTA certification. Her journey from academia into somatic practices was driven by a desire to improve her health and deepen her understanding of nervous system regulation. For Sharon, creativity is not about forcing an outcome, but about reconnecting with the body’s innate wisdom to open up new possibilities. Through somatic practices, she believes we can tap into the body’s fluid and sensory intelligence to express ourselves authentically and with ease. She has experienced firsthand how a somatic approach can transform the way we create, moving beyond anxiety and performance pressure to allow creativity to flow naturally. Sharon has led Awareness Through Movement (ATM) workshops on topics like stress relief, healthy back, and pelvic floor health, and has years of experience teaching writing to students and adult learners.
