In 2024, the International Women's Day will be celebrated with free self-defense events for women across Germany. The event, called "Hamburg Barmbek: Join Our Fight! Kostenlose Kampfsport-Session für Frauen," will take place at Barmbek Basch Fightschool on Maurienstraße 3, 22305 Hamburg. This initiative is brought to you by chinkilla, founded by Sarah & Dani, with a mission to enhance the safety of women and girls. The aim is to empower women through martial arts, fostering self-confidence and self-worth. Women of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels are welcome to participate, regardless of prior martial arts experience. The event provides a safe space for women to explore self-defense techniques without pressure or judgment. Thanks to the support of the German mixed martial arts community and sponsors, this non-profit event offers free admission to all attendees. Join Our Fight is made possible by the collaboration of various gyms, coaches, and team members who have come together to make a difference in empowering women.
