During the workshop, participants will have the chance to create their very own one-colour lino print under the guidance of Valé Vincent. From designing and carving the lino block to inking up and printing using the workshop presses, you will learn a range of techniques to produce stunning prints. This course is perfect for beginners looking to explore the world of printmaking, as it provides a comprehensive introduction to the craft.

Not only will you gain practical skills, but you'll also benefit from Valé Vincent's expertise and knowledge as she shares her passion for printmaking. Valé holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts, specializing in printmaking, and regularly exhibits her work in Newcastle and beyond.

All materials, including printing papers, water-based inks, and a 15x15cm lino block, will be provided. However, if you prefer to use your own lino tools, please bring them along. Remember to wear a paint shirt or an apron and closed-in shoes for safety purposes.
