Experience a transformative workshop on lighting for portraiture at Lens Lab Project in Leeds on April 20, 2024. This session delves into the art of manipulating studio and ambient lighting to create compelling portraits. Suitable for photographers, artists, recent graduates, and those keen on exploring innovative approaches to studio-based portraiture, this workshop emphasizes inclusivity and diversity. Led by a neurodiverse team, Lens Lab encourages participation from underrepresented groups in the art community. Participants will collaborate in small groups to experiment with various lighting techniques, framing, and poses. Be prepared to both capture portraits and sit as a model during the hands-on session. Bring your camera or use one provided by Lens Lab. Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, this workshop is offered free of charge.
