Join The She Shed Collective and The Station Foundation for an outreach experience called "Macrame for Mindfulness" in Southern Pines. This event is specifically open to spouses within the Special Operations Forces Community. During this experience, participants will have the opportunity to practice mindfulness while creating a macrame plant hanger. The art of macrame, known for its mood-boosting qualities, can have a positive impact on both mental and physical health.

By entering a flow state, participants can enhance self-confidence, satisfaction, creativity, and emotional regulation. The "Macrame for Mindfulness" event will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023, at The Train Station located at 235 NW Broad Street, Southern Pines, NC 28387. Participants are encouraged to arrive early for a hot beverage from Swank Coffee Shop. The event will begin with a discussion on letting go through art, followed by the macrame activity. Please note that this event has a maximum capacity of 10 participants and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. A cancellation notice of at least 72 hours prior to the event is kindly requested.
