Join Mike Han at the PLAYGROUND DETROIT Gallery in Detroit for his highly anticipated furniture collection launch and exhibition, titled "Mike Han: United By Design." From September 2nd to September 30th, Han will showcase his diverse creative practice that draws inspiration from his Korean heritage, graffiti, and modern design. This debut gallery exhibition will introduce The House of Han as a sustainable lifestyle brand, highlighting Han's commitment to creating without harming the environment. The exhibit will feature exciting design collaborations, including 3D printed tables with Haddy, a rug collection with Gardner-White Furniture, and a modular wall art system developed with Leon Speakers. Han will also display recent collaborations with SEE Eyewear, CultureVerse, and Detroitissimi. Additionally, the exhibition will feature a new series of Modern Vandalism paintings created on salvaged blueprints from renowned Detroit architects Albert Kahn and Minoru Yamasaki. Mike Han, a Detroit-based artist and designer, aims to develop a better understanding of self, identity, and the connection between people and the planet through his meditative art practice. His artwork reflects the notion that we are all connected, each making an impact on society and the environment through our daily choices.
