Going on a Monday is less crowded and the scenery is beautiful. There&#39;s no subway access, but you can take a taxi from Confucius Temple for 39 yuan directly. I suggest entering from the East Gate and walking uphill to Foding Temple and then to Foding Palace. The path is easy and the scenery is beautiful. On the way back, you can choose to go downhill from the West Gate, which is all downhill. Alternatively, you can take the scenic shuttle bus for 10 yuan directly to the West Gate. There are free electric carts that will take you to the parking lot, where you can catch a ride-hailing car back.

In mid-November, I took my 3-and-a-half-year-old son to Hongshan Zoo. First of all, the weather and temperature were perfect &ndash; not too hot, not too cold, ideal for a visit.

However, my overall impression of Hongshan was rather underwhelming. Despite the hype and positive reviews online, it&#39;s a difficult place to walk around and see the animals properly&hellip; If you&#39;re planning to bring your child, I suggest waiting until they start elementary school; otherwise, it&#39;ll be a real drain on both parents.

Secondly, the souvenir dolls are adorable, but they&#39;re basically just a bunch of beautiful but useless items.
