Experience the NYC Drawing the Dance Workshop on October 21, Saturday at 12:30 p.m. This captivating event takes place at Dixon Place in New York City. Immerse yourself in the artistry of drawing and painting the dancer and their rhythmic movements. The workshop features two sets of 30/40-minute segments, with a brief 5 to 10-minute break in between. Renowned dancer and model Shannon Harkins (@shannonharkins) will grace the stage, providing an inspiring subject for your artwork. Tickets for this unforgettable workshop are available in advance for $15, or you can purchase them at the door for $18 (cash only). Organized by @creativeperformances and presented by @dixonplace, the NYC Drawing the Dance Workshop promises a delightful experience for all attendees. Dixon Place, a fully tested and certified indoor venue, boasts an upgraded AC system with MERV-13 filters. Please bring your own materials, such as drawing boards, portable easels, or draw on pads. Music stands may be available as a substitute for an easel upon request. For your convenience, a sink is provided in the bathroom for brush rinsing. We kindly ask that you refrain from using glitters and remain mindful of your personal belongings. Please note that the organizer and venue are not liable for any lost or stolen items. Each artist retains their own drawings and paintings created during the workshop. Artists may be requested to share their artwork, but the decision to do so is entirely at their discretion. This workshop is tailored for artists with prior knowledge of drawing and painting, offering a unique and enriching experience. Refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
