Join the Pottery playing Indie Music event at OCISLY Ceramics in Miami. This beginners' wheel-throwing class is a great opportunity to connect with your creative side and set your intentions. Spend a fun 2 hours learning the basics of ceramics while enjoying the soothing experience of spinning clay on the wheel. The class is ideal for first-timers, and all materials and equipment will be provided. You'll have the chance to make simple shapes like bowls, vases, or ashtrays with 3+ lbs of clay. Afterward, your piece will be fired and clear-glazed for you. Please note that some pieces might not survive the firing process, but that's all part of the experience of letting go. The event will take place at Casa Mida, an oasis in the middle of Wynwood, Miami. Make sure to arrive on time, as latecomers won't be allowed to join the class. We offer a cancellation policy with a 24-hour notice for refunds or rescheduling. Keep in mind that pottery takes time, and it will be approximately 3-6 weeks before you can collect your finished pieces. If you're unable to participate in the glazing class, we can glaze your pieces in a clear matte style upon request.
