The Printing Play Session is an intergenerational workshop held at the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in Nowra. This workshop is designed for adults and children to explore and experiment with various printing techniques. Led by artist Aidan Gageler and our artist-educators, participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as lumen, gelli, and cyanotype printing. The focus of the workshop will be on exploring color and shape in the artistic process. Additionally, participants will be provided with snacks to keep their energy levels up throughout the session. Aidan Gageler, an Australian artist, will be guiding participants through the workshop. Aidan's work revolves around photography's receptibility to light and sentiment, and the materials he uses reflect a fleshy experience that resonates with our own. The cost to attend this workshop is $60 plus a booking fee for an adult and child aged 8 and above.
