It&rsquo;s quite an impressive museum and exceeded my expectations. It provides a very detailed maritime history of Hong Kong and the south china sea from pre to post colonial times, including as it relates to trade, politics, warfare, culture, and religion. There is a surprisingly high coverage of modern maritime history as well, for the 21st century. For history lovers like me there are some significant artifacts and paintings here of historical value. You can spend over 2 hours here if you take your time to read everything. Good museum for adults.

Amazing experience. It was interesting and exciting. The huge queue for tickets at the box office and a huge crowd at the entrance spoil the impression a little. Therefore, buy tickets online in advance and try to avoid visiting on holidays and weekends because there are a huge number of people.

It&rsquo;s always worth a visit especially for families. Very easy to go around. Fastrak is also a big help to families with little kids. Stroller accessible areas. Restrooms with changing tables and bidets.

The scenery was beautiful. We went around 6 PM and were lucky; there was no queue, so we went straight to the cable car, saving a lot of money &ndash; otherwise, we would have had to buy a Red Diamond membership! Personally, I think the rooftop is really unnecessary; it&#39;s not worth the money. It was quite crowded, so I wouldn&#39;t recommend going up. Taking photos from the mountaintop plaza is just as good. After taking photos, we ate at Min Wah Cafe in the plaza. It was great, very tasty, and I highly recommend it!

Well, to be honest, I&#39;m a high school student... This review is very subjective, so please take it with a grain of salt.

I went in February 2025, and this is all based on my memory.

I&#39;m not particularly interested in history, but someone recommended this place, so I bought a ticket. It&#39;s suitable for history enthusiasts. I probably prefer the Hong Kong Heritage Museum to the Forbidden City.

My impression is that the souvenir shops there are very expensive, so I didn&#39;t buy anything.

During my break, a staff member caught me and made me fill out a questionnaire, which resulted in a small gift. Happy!

As for the exhibition itself, I remember there were nine exhibition halls? Regular exhibitions and special exhibitions. When I went, the special exhibition was &quot;Tracing the Origins of Chinese Civilization,&quot; about bronzes, and &quot;When the Forbidden City Meets Versailles,&quot; I think it was those two. I preferred the &quot;Forbidden City Meets Versailles&quot; one.

That&#39;s it for now. History buffs should definitely check it out.
