The Richmond Cricket Club's Academy program, in its 10th year, is inviting young male cricketers to participate in trials for the U16 Academy Squad. With age levels ranging from Cubs to U18's, approximately 25 players form each Academy Squad. A selection of 15 players will be chosen to represent the dowling shield squad, while all members will undergo training comprising games, net sessions, and fielding drills from August to February. The annual Academy Cost is estimated at $450 this season, with no additional fees for those making it to the dowling shield squad. The Richmond CC - Dowling Shield Trials (U16 Male) will take place at Cricket Victoria, Lakeside Drive, St Kilda, VIC 3182, from May 30 to June 08, 2024. Admission is free for all participants.
