Looking for a FUN and Engaging Summer Camp?
This summer camp is
 inspired by the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge fostering project-based learning that’s impactful and FUN
. Students enjoy the friendly teamwork and learning from FLL Challenge missions without the stress of intense competition. With flexible sessions available, you can choose the ticket that perfectly aligns with your family's schedule.
Students will enjoy the fun-filled experience of this 
week-long camp with daily instructional sessions and hands-on practice, and wrap up in the demonstration day on Friday. The program targets students ages 9 to 13 (grades 4-8). 
7 options as follows:
Week of June 16 (6/16/25 - 6/20/25)
Week of July 7 (7/7/25 - 7/11/25)
Week of July 14 (7/14/25 - 7/18/25)
Week of July 21 (7/21/25 - 7/25/25)
Week of July 28 (7/28 /25 - 8/1/25)
Week of August 04 (8/4/25 - 8/8/25)
Week of August 11(8/11/25 - 8/15/25)
The sessions are where students explore STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and delve into the captivating world of LEGO® robotics. They’ll learn to code, build, and program robots to tackle exciting game missions, all while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Our program will equip your child with confidence and critical thinking skills valuable in any future interest. At Queen City Robotics Alliance (QCRA), we want to do more than teach coding. We want to inspire all girls and boys to use their talents and abilities to think outside the box, to channel their ideas creatively, and most importantly, to have fun!
Additional Details:
The program will be on-site next to the workshop where 21 robotics teams meet, build, and practice their robots.
This summer day camp is ideal for students in grades 4-8, coding experience is optional and not required.
This is a week-long program with multiple offerings throughout the summer.
This class is led by peer instructors who are also robotics competition team members with experience to share for learning opportunities beyond this camp.
Requirements
Computer required for all participants. Contact QCRA before the session if a loaner computer is needed.

Transportation
QCRA does not offer transportation at this time.
 
The parent or legal guardian is responsible for transporting students to the facility and to see that the student gets safely to and from the classroom.
Food Policy
A brown bag lunch is highly recommended. Our staff can accept food delivery if necessary.
Only water is allowed during class. Snacks and drinks are optional and can be consumed in designated areas but won't be allowed when working on robots and computers.
Campership Program
We are partnering once again with the 
Sullenberger Aviation Museum
 to offer the 
Campership
, providing a 
20% reduced rate
 to support deserving families.
If the student is attending one of the Title I schools, family is under financial stress, or has other reasons to justify the support, 
email STEMprogram@queencityrobotics.org
. We will follow up regarding your eligibility to receive the support and provide a promo code to receive a discount during registration for those qualified.
Provide the attending school if you plan to take advantage of the Title I discount. This program accepts various documentation such as a copy or photo of any official government financial assistance documentation such as WIC, Medicaid, Section 8, or others. Or proof of household income is below Mecklenburg County's median household income*.
