In honor of World Mental Health Month, the community is invited to participate in the Run For You 5K event on Sunday, October 1 at 8:30am. This exciting in-person event will take place at the intersection of 54th Place and East Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach. Runners of all skill levels are welcome to join in on the action. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or just starting your running journey, the Run For You 5K is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and show support for mental health awareness. The event will kick off with a warm-up led by Ambassador Timmie Brann, followed by a scenic run down the Long Beach Shoreline. The day will conclude with a refreshing cool down led by Stephanie and the chance to enjoy refreshments from local vendors. Make sure to save the date and come out for a memorable day of running, cheering, and celebrating as we begin World Mental Health Month. Admission is free, so don't miss this chance to lace up and join the community in this inspiring event.
