Schrijvers op de Planken Studenten, an event organized by De Nacht van de Literatuur in collaboration with the Bibliotheek Eemland, is set to take place on December 8, 2023, at KAdECafé in Amersfoort. This event aims to showcase the talent of three writers, including one national debutant and two writers from the Eemland region. The evening will feature a special performance where students from the Theatervooropleiding Amersfoort will bring a short scene from one of the books to life on stage. These scenes will be written by students from the HKU - Writing for performance program. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in interviews with each writer, delving deeper into their books and their craft. The featured writers for this edition of Schrijvers op de Planken Studenten are Bilal Al Mashta with his book "Coulis," Stefan Popa with his book "In de schaduw van de eik - scène," and Sivia Toebak with her book "Vals zingend schaap." The short scene for the performance will be written by HKU student Pim van Beelen. Tickets for this event are available for € 6.
