SF Bicycle Coalition presents Smart City Cycling 3: Road Practice, a class designed to enhance your street-riding skills on higher-volume streets. This is the third installment in the Smart City Cycling program, with Smart City Cycling 2 as a prerequisite. If you haven't taken Smart City Cycling 2 yet, be sure to register for our upcoming class on October 14th at sfbike.org/events. During this session, participants will engage in a guided group ride, allowing them to practice essential skills such as taking the lane, changing lanes, making left turns, and proper lane positioning and signaling. It is crucial that all attendees bring their own bikes or arrange for bike rentals in advance, as bikes will not be available for rental at the class. If you don't have a bicycle, no worries! We can provide you with information on how to rent one for the class. Please note that the cost of bike rental, if needed, will be covered by the participant.
