The Act of Allyship Exhibit presents a unique opportunity to Meet & Greet LGBTQ+ Icons and the talented artist, Joy Chew. This not-to-be-missed event will take place at the renowned SF LGBT Center in San Francisco on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM PT. The exhibit stems from a powerful act of allyship by San Francisco-based artist Joy Chew. Inspired by the unjust treatment of transgender lawmaker Zooey Zephyr in Montana, Joy created a stunning art foiled print titled "Let Her Speak!" to amplify Zooey's voice and donate it to the SF LGBT Center. Encouraged by the impact of her work, Joy decided to extend her support by donating more art foiled prints of LGBTQ+ ICONS from San Francisco and around the world. From October to January 2024, the SF LGBT Center will proudly showcase these vibrant art foiled images on the 2nd Floor. To commemorate the LGBTQ+ ICONS and Joy Chew's Act of Allyship, we cordially invite you to a special Meet & Greet event on Tuesday, November 7th. It will be an evening of connection, celebration, and appreciation where you can enjoy the captivating artwork, meet the honored LGBTQ+ ICONS, and engage with like-minded individuals. Light refreshments will be available to enhance the experience. Don't miss this extraordinary opportunity to support the LGBTQ+ community, celebrate the work of LGBTQ+ ICONS, and connect with the talented artist Joy Chew. Admission to the event is free, so mark your calendars and join us at the SF LGBT Center on November 7th to be part of this inspiring occasion.
