Join the Inner Dance workshop for a transformative experience combining depth psychology, movement, expression, and Argentine tango. This unique event is suitable for individuals and couples of all abilities, including those with limited mobility. The workshop is divided into two parts: the lecture portion from 9:30am to 10:30am and the experiential portion from 10:45am to 12:30pm. Through the teachings of renowned Jungian Analysts such as C.G. Jung and Marion Woodman, it has been revealed that emotional and psychological difficulties are often linked to the tension held within the body. By intentionally incorporating the body, we can initiate profound personal growth and change. Throughout the workshop, participants will gain a fundamental understanding of Somatic Depth Psychology, exploring its origins in body-oriented depth psychology developed by influential figures like Sigmund Freud, Wilhelm Reich, Carl Jung, and Marion Woodman. They will also learn about the concepts, principles, and benefits of embodied consciousness, as well as the process and development of the ego-Self Axis from an embodied perspective. The Inner Dance workshop is an opportunity to cultivate embodied awareness through a lived experience. Don't miss this enlightening event happening on February 10, 2024, at St. Francis in the Foothills UMC in Tucson, Arizona. Tickets are available at prices ranging from $15 to $40.
