The highly anticipated event, "THE WINNERS CIRCLE: 2023 1V1 BREAKIN & OPEN STYLES CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS," is set to take place on December 9th and 10th at the prestigious Destiny Arts Center in Oakland, California. This two-day extravaganza will showcase the best dancers in the Bay Area as they compete for bragging rights, custom trophies, and a chance to win a grand prize of $2000 in cash.

The event, organized by the Bay Area Dance Event Collective, Battles In the Bay, & The Cave Dance Studio, promises to be an exhilarating experience for both participants and spectators. With the focus on 1v1 open style and 1v1 breakin freestyle dance tournaments, the competition will be fierce as dancers battle it out to claim the champion title.

Leading up to this grand finale, various preliminary battles have been held throughout the year, featuring dancers from cities such as San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, San Mateo, and Sacramento. Now, the stage is set for the finalists from each category to go head-to-head with the 2023 pop-up champions and compete for the ultimate prize.

Day one of the event, December 9th, will feature the last chance open prelim qualifier, where dancers will compete for the remaining spots in the finals. The top five finalists from each category will advance to day two, where they will compete against the pop-up champions for a shot at the $2000 cash prize.

On day two, December 10th, the grand finals will take place, with the finalists and pop-up champions from all over Northern California battling it out to determine the 2023 champion. The winners will not only receive a custom trophy but also $1000 cash per category. Additionally, they will be invited back in 2024 to defend their titles.
