Under the guidance of internationally acclaimed artist Verónica Castillo Salas, participants will learn about the vibrant tradition of polychromatic ceramic art and have the chance to create their own masterpiece. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and is recommended for ages 10 and above.

The workshop will be conducted in both English and Spanish, making it accessible to a wide range of participants. The participant fee of $75 includes the clay-painting workshop, as well as a delectable spread of comida callejera poblana (Puebla-style street food) and refreshing beverages. Vegan options will also be available for those with dietary restrictions.

To ensure a personalized experience, the workshop is limited to fifty seats. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot. If you require any accessibility services, such as ASL interpretation or real-time captioning, please indicate this during registration.

Verónica Castillo Salas, hailing from Ixcúatl de Matamoros, Puebla, Mexico, comes from a long lineage of renowned artists. Her work, which addresses contemporary issues of injustice and inequality, has garnered national and international recognition. As the owner of Galeria E.V.A., Verónica provides a platform for diverse cultural art forms to flourish.

The Tree of Life & Ceramics Workshop will take place on November 20, 2023, at Galeria E.V.A. located at 3412 South Flores Street, San Antonio, TX 78204. Doors open at 6 p.m., and online ticket sales will close at noon. However, tickets will be available at the door pending capacity.

The only world cultural heritage site in Texas is in San Antonio. The San Antonio Life Insurance Building is a landmark historic building in downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. The 31-story building is 123 meters tall. The building opened in 1929 and was originally known as the Smith-Young Tower, with the Smith brothers purchasing the building in 1943. In 1953, a television transmission tower was added to the structure. A 2010 renovation removed the outdated television mast and replaced it with the tower&#39;s original design, a copper canopy with a 100-foot-tall flagpole.

It&#39;s rare to see so many people in the US. The riverside walk was truly beautiful, even though it was quite hot in early October. The buildings along the river are quite exotic, with a Spanish-style feel. You can take a 35-minute boat tour for about $15.50. At night, the illuminated buildings along the river are truly atmospheric.

The San Antonio Zoo is a great place for families, with plenty of attractions for kids, a good mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, and lots of spots to rest. The animals seem well cared for, and there&rsquo;s a wide variety to see, from giraffes to playful otters. The layout makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelmed, and there are plenty of snack stands and shaded areas to take a break. The highlight of our visit was the kangaroo experience, where we got to walk among them up close. Overall, it&rsquo;s a fun, well-maintained zoo that&rsquo;s worth a visit.
