Join the Trek Research Saturday Scenic Ride every other Saturday for an Intermediate Level cycling experience in Austin. Embark on a 25-mile journey through picturesque locations including the Arboretum, Mesa Dr., Balcones, Scenic Dr., Lake Austin Blvd., Exposition, Bull Creek, Shoal Creek, and Steck. With an average pace of 13 mph, this social ride is perfect for those looking to challenge themselves. However, it is not recommended for beginners due to the elevation gain and distance. The ride kicks off at 9:00 AM after a safety briefing and signing of waivers at Trek Bicycle Research located at 10947 Research Boulevard in Austin. It is mandatory to wear a helmet, and it is highly recommended to bring hydration in the form of a water bottle or Camelback. Don't forget your flat repair kit and cash for any post-ride needs at the shop. Participants under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver and be accompanied by them throughout the duration of the ride.
