Join the relaxed and tutored portrait drawing class in Brighton's art studio. This week's topic is "Composing the Portrait." Led by tutor and artist Lancelot Richardson, the class covers various aspects of portraiture each week. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your portrait drawing skills, this session is suitable for all abilities. The class starts with a 20-minute tutored segment on the topic of the week, followed by drawing exercises with a clothed portrait model. During the session, there will be a break for hot drinks and biscuits, allowing you ample time to receive assistance and feedback from Lancelot. You can choose to prebook or pay on the day using a card. While basic drawing materials are available for free, we encourage you to bring your own. The studio provides easels, chairs, drawing boards, and small tables on a first come-first served basis. Easily accessible via New England Street, the studio is located at Unit 1 South on level 5.
