Join the TV Puppetry Intensive workshop in New York City, featuring some of TV's top talent in person. This exclusive event, taking place on November 16, 2023, at 225 East 67th Street, offers a unique opportunity to learn from renowned instructors such as Pam Arciero, Bradley Freeman Jr., Stephanie D'Abruzzo, and Martin P. Robinson. Experience a live demo of Aanika's Elephants, a captivating family theatre piece directed by Pam Arciero. After the demo, attendees will participate in an intensive monitor workshop, where they will delve deeper into monitor technique and character development. The workshop includes vocal and scene work, as well as final presentations and discussions. To ensure a tailored experience, beginners are welcome, but registration requires a video submission (max. 3 minutes) demonstrating your TV monitor technique. The schedule for the workshop includes sign-in and doors opening at 10:30 am, followed by a lecture/demo at 11:00 am. There will be an opportunity for photos with the artists and a farewell session for those joining only the lecture/demo. The workshop will break into two groups for lessons, with a lunch/snack break in between. The day will conclude with both groups coming together for the final lessons. If you prefer to attend only the lecture/demo, there is an option for that as well. All funds raised from this event will support Elephants in Suitcases, LLC, the production company behind Aanika's Elephants.
