Italian pop artist Valerio Adami, influenced by pop art, used daily life as the theme of his early paintings, and used black lines to divide and surround flat blocks of color in his oil paintings. Since the late 1960s, he has mainly painted portraits of historical themes. These characters are artists or writers who fill his spiritual world, full of irony or lyricism. In the 1970s, Adami's creations expanded to the scope of history, and after the 1980s, he even traced back to the French Revolution in the late 18th century. This exhibition focuses on the artist's representative works created between the 1970s and 2000.

Please note that they are currently under renovation so a few parts aren&rsquo;t available to the public

Milan Cathedral Square is the heart of the city. The Gothic cathedral is spectacular and the details are as exquisite as works of art! The surrounding area is very lively and suitable for taking photos and checking in, but it is a bit crowded with many tourists. The pigeons are not afraid of people, which adds a bit of fun. It is very convenient to go directly to the subway, but be careful of hawkers. The overall atmosphere is great, free and open, a must-see when you come to Milan!

Get there early. There&rsquo;s a lovely place across the street where you can grab a coffee or gelato and a washroom visit. I had no idea that I would be so moved by seeing Leonardo&rsquo;s painting of The Last Supper. It moved me to tears. I am so grateful that the efforts were put into preserving and protecting this treasure. Nice book store as you exit. Grateful for UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well.
