The Youth to Sea 2024 Project Showcase will be the final event where ambassadors from Montreal and Ottawa will present their projects. This showcase will highlight the crucial topics of climate change, overfishing, and plastic pollution. In addition to the project presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Youth to Sea and other Ocean Wise programs. The event will follow an Open House format, allowing visitors to explore various projects at their own pace. Official presentations will take place every 20 minutes, offering a comprehensive overview of the ambassadors' work. The schedule for these presentations will be shared prior to the event. Youth to Sea is a program designed for youth between the ages of 15 and 18 in Victoria, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, and Halifax. Over the course of 10 months, participants engage in educational experiences, skill-building workshops, and ocean service projects within their local communities. This showcase serves as a platform for Ottawa and Montreal youth to share their projects and inspire others to take action. Join them at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa on February 10, 2024, to be part of this impactful event. Admission is free.
