Air Europa (UX), officially known as Air Europa Líneas Aéreas, S.A.U., is a Spanish airline established in 1986. Based in Llucmajor, Mallorca, Spain, the airline operates from its main hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport. As a member of the SkyTeam alliance since 2007, Air Europa serves 16 domestic destinations and 38 international destinations across 28 countries. The airline's fleet consists of 51 aircraft, including Boeing 737-800s and Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which support both short-haul and long-haul routes. In 2023, Air Europa was acquired by the International Airlines Group (IAG) but continues to operate under its own brand. The airline transported around 14.8 million passengers that year, providing both scheduled and charter services. Known for its commitment to customer service and modern technology, Air Europa remains a key player in European aviation.
