I originally booked a twin room, but the front desk staff upgraded me to a room on the 20th floor in the West Wing. The view from the window, as shown in the picture, was pretty good, so I extended my stay. When I checked in, I spoke Cantonese with the staff member, and when I checked out, I spoke Mandarin with the female staff at the front desk. Both interactions were smooth, and everyone was very polite. The reading area outside the front desk has a great view, but unfortunately, I was too rushed during my stay to enjoy it. The hotel is located in North Point, which is a bustling area with many restaurants. On my last day, I used the complimentary food voucher for the 'Explore North Point - Explorer Set' to try the egg waffle shop. They were delicious and easy to redeem. It's a shame I went too late, as the other places had already closed. If you plan to use the vouchers, it's best to go earlier. The hotel is also very close to the MTR station, less than a hundred meters from North Point Exit A1.From$96

One of the lower rate I give was there was no information about no water for the whole building and no one informed us at all until we call and find out. This is one of my favorite area in HK and stayed in this hotel thrice in the past 12 mos, the staff here arent nice but arent rude as well if you know what I mean. They are just not cheerful at all but its okay, for the location and price point Im not expecting anything.
My first and 2nd stay was all good but the 3rd one I literally had bad allergy bec the family room we got this time was very dirty like super dirty that the place looks like not being cleaned for months or even a year maybe. Called the attention of the manager on duty, she was sort of nice but sadly aside from no more available room to transfer to, she offered to transfer the following day but no sense anymore bec it will happen after the usual check out plus the cleaning process so its like checking in all over again and we are checking out early the next day so I just want to literally rest. We already unpacked our staff so I dont want to pack it again to stay in another room for just around 12 hours the next day from the time we checked in. We checked in at 6:30pm so I wonder why the room was not even checked and cleaned properly. She also offered to have the room deep cleaned but nowhere to stay while waiting, she is suggesting us to go out instead for snacks etc but we came from a 3 day Disney trip so we are super tired and just wanted to sleep. The resolution offer didnt really make it more convenient at all so it was a bad stay for me. Some photos/videos I cant upload bec its terrible.From$42

There were no USB sockets by the bed for charging phones, one of the bedside lamps was broken, and the sofa was old and yellowed. Stayed in the Ocean Front room with 2 queen beds & the view couldn’t be beaten. An absolute pleasure to watch the ships coming and going. The breakfast at the hotel was awesome & had great Western options for the whole family. We also used the free shuttle to two MTR stations, making travel around very easy. Shuttles run every 30 minutes. While the hotel isn’t centrally located, the services they provide make up for it. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!From$114

I've stayed at this hotel many times, and I have to say, this was the most disappointing experience. I'm not sure if it's because the booking price was too low – usually it's around 400-500 yuan, but this time it was just over 250. First, the layout of the twin room had been changed; you could clearly see the headboard was on the right. Also, the entire room felt damp, and there were mold spots on the ceiling. One of the beds was directly facing the AC vent, so my head was getting blown by the air all night. When I tried to switch to the other side, I found the sheets had stains. I was pretty speechless. And since we checked in a bit rushed, I didn't thoroughly inspect everything, so I just had to accept it. But the air conditioner was incredibly loud – so noisy that I couldn't sleep with it on. I even set the fan speed to the lowest setting, but it was still very loud, let alone the higher settings. In the end, we had to turn off the AC to fall asleep. Then, we'd wake up feeling hot in the middle of the night, turn it on briefly, and once the room cooled down, we'd have to turn it off again. It was honestly a bit frustrating. Very accessible to everything. There is a mall in the lower ground, groceries, KFC, Starbucks, 7/11 etc. Outside there is a bakery that we love. Mcdonalds, Jollibee, Cafe de Coral also walkkng distance. MTR is also near a 5minute walk from Panda Hotel lobby exit. The path walk is all connected so even when it rains you wont get wet. And friendly to all tourist if you still have a baby or toddler who use stroller. Even if it's far in Tsim Sha Tsui you wont feel it because of MTR is very fast. And the place looks very Central alike. Para sa mga Pinoy i highly recommend this place sa inyo. Pag balik namin dito ulit kami.From$43

Hotel 8°Beijing is right across from Harbour City, making its location absolutely superb. The classic English decor, though a bit dated, gives the whole place an elegant feel. The room amenities are also quite traditional. The first night, my room was assigned to the side with a shopping mall pipe, and it was so noisy! I almost complained, but decided against it, considering we're in the same industry. The next day, I asked the front desk to switch rooms. The front desk staff, a lovely lady, was very patient and friendly. She moved me to a side without the pipe, and I finally had a good night's sleep. Given the excellent location and warm service, I'm still giving it 5 stars. A small suggestion: I had already requested a quiet room when booking, so I hope the hotel seriously considers guest preferences when assigning rooms. Also, please check the handles on the two connecting doors in the family rooms; sometimes they're a bit finicky.From$185

The location is a definite plus, and the free shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient. Breakfast was decent as well. I'm not sure if it was because I booked a special rate through Ctrip, but I specifically requested a room away from the elevators and noise. Despite it being a large hotel, they gave me a room that was indeed far from the elevators, but it was a corner room right at a street intersection, with an irregular layout. Having stayed at that hotel before, I know they must have specifically chosen this room for me, which is surprising given the hotel's size and numerous rooms, especially since it clearly wasn't fully booked that night. Bad experience . Given a small room (521) on the fifth floor that has a connecting door to the next room . 2 single beds arranged wall to wall . Safe is not working and very basic only .Very poor sound insulation especially with doors opening and closing .No place to hang clothings . I thought to myself maybe my room was cheap , it was called economy room anyway , so accepted it as you got what you pay for . However , on the first evening , a family in the next room with the connecting door decided to sleep late until 1 am and I have to listen to their conversations .On second night , another family moved in . Their door was was opened and closed at least 10 time from 12 to 2.30 am. When i complained to the front desk , someone came up from the front office but did not see any entry or exit anymore and he explained apparently it was a family with another room opposite the corridor , so they must be running back and forth. After the hotel staff left again, there was door opening , and this time , I confronted them , and they apologized. After that there were 1 or 2 more times but this time , they took more care . However , damage done , I only manage to sleep at 3 am or so . The next morning , I ask to change to room, I was prepared to move out if not . They gave me another room on the second floor on the Signature floor , it was a nicer room , better renovated , bigger with a working safe but with no windows . I can hear the sound of the traffic on the road very well and that night had to use my earphones to sleep , but at least I don’t to hear sound and vibrations of doors opening and closing. Very bad , the location was good but spoilt by the hotel giving a small amount attached room to me probably because of the price offered . Unlikely I will come back to this hotel.From$38
