2. It's also close to the Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Science Museum, and Victoria Harbour.

The service was excellent. The doorman promptly opened the door, the front desk attendant spoke fluent Mandarin, the concierge was enthusiastic, and the ladies maintaining the restrooms in the 3rd-floor common area were all very kind.

The location is convenient. If you're taking a cross-border bus, you can get off at K11 MUSEA and walk for about 15 minutes to reach the hotel. It's also very easy to get around by MTR or bus, and there's a direct bus to the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. I booked a triple room, and Ctrip's description stated three single beds. However, the hotel initially assigned us a standard room with an extra bed. So, I went to the front desk, and they promptly switched us to a newly renovated triple room on the 21st floor. I initially thought it was the top floor, but it turned out there was another floor above that required climbing stairs from the 21st floor. The facilities in the newly renovated room were significantly better, although the renovation itself seemed a bit rushed and couldn't withstand close inspection. The cleanliness was acceptable, but I did spot a few strands of hair left by previous guests in the bathroom. One of the hotel's four elevators was under maintenance, leading to longer waiting times for going up and down. Every time I visit, I stay at Ramada. It's super convenient with bus and subway stations nearby. The hotel staff are always so kind to me. The room is spotless. There's a vending machine in the lobby on the ground floor where you can buy things like toothpaste. There's also a fridge in the room. Downstairs, there's a market and a fruit store, so you can find anything you need. I'm a bit of a **sensitive person, and I've stayed at this hotel multiple times without any strange occurrences, so even those who are easily spooked can feel safe here.FromUS$70

The hotel's location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk from the T1 check-in counter, which was ideal for our early morning flight. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and very well-equipped. The room was spacious, much larger than typical airport hotel rooms. However, the facilities are a bit dated; the mini-fridge in our room was broken. The bathroom was just okay, with an older toilet and average waterproofing/non-slip features, so extra caution is needed if you're traveling with children or pregnant individuals. Despite these points, the overall value for money is quite good.
Service, however, needs improvement. I particularly want to highlight the receptionist at the ground floor breakfast area. We had an international flight at 9 AM and went down for breakfast promptly at 6:30 AM. My child had just woken up and had no appetite at all, but we were very pressed for time and couldn't wait for them to feel better. So, we asked the receptionist if we could pack a small amount of food for our child to take to the airport – literally just a piece of bread and an egg. The receptionist's attitude was incredibly unfriendly, and she very sternly refused my request, acting extremely condescending. I believe that even if there's a hotel policy against taking food out, as a representative of the hotel, you can refuse, but please maintain basic politeness and professionalism. It's one thing not to be sympathetic, but a cold attitude really damages the hotel's overall image and our impression of Hong Kong.FromUS$98

The room size is acceptable; for Hong Kong, it's pretty good, as I'm used to smaller spaces here. The power outlets were at the foot of the bed, and I initially thought there was only one, but then I found a whole strip on the desk, hidden behind a panel. Remember to bring your own universal adapter. The air conditioning was a bit noisy. Also, bring your own toothbrush; I didn't see any provided. I'm sure the front desk would supply one if asked, but they were quite busy (though their service was excellent and very friendly), and since I had my own, I didn't bother asking about toothpaste and toothbrushes. The hairdryer looked unassuming but dried my hair surprisingly fast. The location is super close to a bus stop, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. I walked to a nearby congee shop for a late-night snack, which was satisfying. Oh, and the coffee is free!FromUS$64

The room was clean and had a bathtub, plus a universal adapter. The smart home system for lights and curtains made for a very convenient stay. Housekeeping was prompt and the service was attentive. The front desk staff gave great recommendations for food and attractions, and every single staff member I encountered was friendly and enthusiastic. The location is also excellent, with plenty of good food nearby. K11, the Art Museum, and the Science Museum are just a few minutes' walk away. I was rushing for an early flight when checking out and forgot to properly check out. I called the front desk, and they kept reassuring me, saying it was fine as long as I hadn't left anything behind. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a view of Victoria Harbour from the window. The cleanliness was excellent; the staff always asked if we wanted our room cleaned daily. Although the facilities are a bit old, they feel sturdy and reliable, making for a reassuring stay.
The breakfast variety didn't change much, but there were plenty of options, including Indian, Japanese, and Halal dishes. There was even a dedicated breakfast area for kids, and their pancakes were absolutely delicious! The juice was freshly squeezed, and the fruit station consistently offered pineapple, watermelon, apples, bananas, and cantaloupe.
The lobby staff were amazing. We arrived at the hotel at 8 AM, and luckily, a room was ready, so they immediately checked us in. As a family traveling with seniors and children, we were incredibly grateful for this. The lobby staff also proactively gave out little gifts to the children—a small Shangri-La themed bag containing crayons, stickers, and a fan for coloring. They even gave us two toy cars. We really appreciate it!
On the downside, I did get some bites, possibly from dust mites or fleas, leaving red bumps all over my legs. I understand that the seaside location can be humid, and with the windows closed, ventilation is limited. Even the disinfectant spray I brought didn't help. The daytime scene of blue seas and boats, and the nighttime spectacle of countless city lights, each had their own unique charm. Amenities like toiletries, TWG tea sets, and Nespresso coffee machines were thoughtfully provided. Service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. The concierge and butler were friendly, professional, and promptly responded to any requests. The only minor flaw was the quality of the bathrobes in the room. The fabric felt rather thin, lacking the softness and plushness found in bathrobes at other luxury hotels in the same category. Everyone, avoid this hotel! This is my first time leaving a negative review for a hotel.
1. The service attitude was absolutely terrible. From the moment I checked in, I said ”Hello...” but the staff didn't even bother to respond with a ”Hello” back and had a sour face the entire time. In the service industry, there should be a basic level of politeness!
2. Check-out is at 11 AM, and check-in is at 3 PM. This is an absolutely outrageous, one-sided policy. I didn't notice these times when I booked. Isn't anyone going to address this?
3. The hotel's so-called ”free shuttle” requires booking a day in advance. There was no mention of this when I checked in. You have to ask about everything yourself! It's completely hit-or-miss.
4. The young staff at the concierge desk were also unhelpful and made things difficult for guests. The next day, they wouldn't let me bring my luggage on the bus, claiming it was too big. It was just a small carry-on suitcase, how big could it be?!
I said, ”Yesterday, I confirmed with the concierge staff that I could bring it on the bus.” Then the tall, slender concierge kept questioning, ”Which staff member? What's their name? Who told you that?” Am I supposed to remember the name of every staff member just to take the bus?
5. We booked a standard room, and the bedside table in the middle was as shown in the picture – make of it what you will. The soundproofing was also poor.
All in all, everyone should seriously reconsider staying at this hotel! Afterwards, I searched for negative reviews about this hotel to see if anyone else had the same terrible experience. It turns out the news about this hotel is truly shocking.FromUS$78

Quite a decent choice in terms of the price and location. To be honest it is not that close to any of the MTR station, might be. 5-10 walk to either Wan Chai or Causeway Bay station. However, buses 101/111/1 directly have a stop in front of the hotel under its namesake, which can take travelers to Kennedy Town or Central Pier. Also, westbound tram of Tin Lok Lane is directly outdoor, so the traffic is extremely convenient here. Also the hotel is well-decorated and bourgeoisie despite the antiqued style.
