Earn Trip Coins on Every Train Booking

Beyond promo codes, Trip.com's loyalty program (Trip.com Rewards) rewards you on every eligible train booking. Members earn 20 Trip Coins for every US$100 (or equivalent) spent on the following train categories: Mainland China trains, Hong Kong (China) train tickets, South Korea trains, UK trains, Europe trains, etc.

Trip Coins can be used like cash on prepaid bookings — 100 Trip Coins ≈ US$1.00 — so the coins you earn from train trips directly reduce the cost of future bookings, including more train tickets, hotels, and flights. Higher membership tiers earn bonus Coins on every booking (up to +200% for top tiers), and higher tiers also unlock perks such as no admin fee for train refunds.

How to Use Trip.com Train Promo Codes

Claiming and applying a Trip.com train promo code is straightforward:

• Claim the code first. Most of the current train offers are claim-based rather than typed codes. Open the promotion page (such as Go China or Go Japan) and tap "Claim" — several are app-only, so make sure you're signed in on the Trip.com app.

• Apply it at checkout. Once claimed, the code usually appears in your account under "My Promo Codes" and is applied automatically at checkout, or you can select it on the payment page.
• Check the terms. Each offer has its own validity period and eligibility rules (for example, new-user-only discounts or limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis). Always review the terms on the promotion page before booking.
