AAnonymous UserGood stay at the hotel. Check in online was simple and the keycard was ready when we arrived. Parking was £5 which was fine for the area.
The room was basic but had everything we needed for 1 night. View of the sea and beach. Bar was relaxed, plenty going on at the hotel.
GGuest UserWe had a super trip to the hotel as a couple + a dog. We used the hotel as a base while exploring Kent, and it was perfectly located for that.
The rooms were indeed a bit dated, but this is a non issue for us. Large parking lot on site. The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was good (though coffee could be better), staff was super friendly, and the wellness (gym, spa) facilities were a great bonus. We will for sure stay again if we are in the area.
GGuest UserI really had a pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and although I didn’t sleep well (due to being in a different bed to my own) there was nothing I could complain about. Staff were great, breakfast was ok (selection of cooked breakfast, pastries, toast, cereals & fruit) and you’re greeted with that famous cookie! :)
AAlmira KultayevaWe had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help whenever we needed assistance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although it was a standard room, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and would happily stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for their excellent service!
GGuest UserHotel itself was nice but could do a lick of fresh paint in the rastuurant. Reception and housekeeping staff were polite and helpful. Loved the pool area unfortunately tge shower opposite the steam room was not working and hit sauna out of action
The gym could do with state of the art machines but nice space. The restaurant Wednesday morning for breakfast staff not helpful but Thursday morning my goodness Terrie and Billy turned it around
They were chatty, helpful, nothing was too much trouble, service with a smile, tables were cleaned promptly and they were constantly on the go. Totally awesome. Parking we had to pay £10 daily which was much so for us £20. Great area secluded beautiful.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit dated but for the price we paid, it was good value. In terms of location, it was great for us as we were guests at a wedding at Leeds Castle and this hotel was literally around the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use the leisure centre, but was told by family that it was really nice, especially the swimming pool. Regarding the room, as soon as you walk in you can smell the drains in the bathroom which is by the door but it's not that bad that you can smell it in the room. We had a family room which was large and had a king and two singles. The room was ok regarding cleanliness, some missed areas and dead insects which may have flown in through the big windows. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection of food and good choice of drinks which was needed after a hot weekend. Overall we are pleased with our stay and would recommend it.
AAll Who WanderThis is a lovely hotel with extremely spacious rooms and en suites. The Orangerie dining room has a lovely outlook onto the peaceful grounds. Although we didn't have an evening meal there, we did enjoy the breakfast. The staff were extremely accommodating with our delightful little son/grandson of ten months and deserve praise for their hospitality.
We were there for a wedding at the nearby Beacon Hotel (four minute drive or 20 minite walk with a pram) so it was incredibly convenient.
As its a spa hotel, I felt obliged (!) to have a wonderful massage which although £110 was well worth it!
A 20 minute walk takes you to the charming Pantiles area of Tonbridge Wells which had lots of eateries and was very unusual - quite unexpected.
Everything about the hotel was great value. It could do with slightly updating in decor but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
KKnight of oldI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The staff were mostly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request. My room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, but there were some red stain in my bed sheet which is extremely gross. The location was also perfect, close to shops, dover port, restaurants, and public transport, which made getting around easy.
