We stayed here for a weekend visit to the famous floating market. We drove ourselves and lucky google maps was spot on for navigation as it is a bit tricky to get to. Nonetheless after a few wrong turns we made it. The entrance of the main road to get to the market is a bit confusing as the lanes are separated quite wide at the light so take care when you are turning in. The hotel is located right across the road from a 7-11 which is really handy. The floating market is about three blocks away if you cross the road. There is a back entrance to the market on the same side of the road as the hotel about a half block away - which goes through a restaurant that has Marvel super-hero statues - and that is definitely the easier way to get to the market. The hotel is a newer property, clean and with a large lounge area where you can sit while waiting to check in. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. The hotel has a boutique feel and it was fully booked on the weekend we stayed. There was lots of parking front and back, and a ramp for access to those who are mobility impaired. The restaurant on the main floor is only open for breakfast. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was a small but good buffet with a decent number of western and Asian choices and a fresh egg bar for omelet and eggs any way you like. Lots of different juices and teas, coffee as well. There is also a rooftop bar and restaurant but we did not try it. There is a spa which our mum tried and enjoyed the massage very much. Booking is recommended - it was BUSY. Spa staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the front desk staff. They were kind enough to accompany our elderly mum to our room and make sure she was settled in ok. A small elevator or large wide stairwell will take you to the rooms. The room numbers are projected towards the ceiling rather than on the doors - which confused mum as she was looking for room numbers on the doors. Rooms were spacious and clean and used lots of wood. But single beds are small so if there are three in a room - you need to get one of the larger rooms. There was a fridge but it was not cold. There was a tiny balcony just wide enough to fit a chair to sit sideways. We did not use it as it was too hot outside. Air con was available and welcome but a bit noisy. The bathroom double doors did not quite close, but closed enough to offer some privacy. The shower was huge and the pressure was excellent. Be alert that because the shower is fairly open the bathroom floor can get very wet and slippery. Our only negative was it was noisy - you could hear people in the rooms beside us, and in the hallways, and you could hear the television next door, as well as a baby crying. Thankfully, people were considerate enough to stop making noise by 10pm and it was a peaceful night of sleep. All in all we had a vary nice stay here, and would stay again.

The hotel reception has a vintage feel while the rooms are located behind the main building and has a unique courtyard. Upon stepping out of the hotel grounds, you will be walking along the canal which will take you to Amphawa floating market and you will see many interesting restaurants along the canal. The hotel also provides free bicycle for hotel guests use. My only negative comment about the hotel is the unstable water pressure during a shower.

We chose to stay at this place during Thailand New Year Holiday (Songkran) booked on very last minute, a family room. We were given room 113 which was at the corner so there was no view from the front but the canal view at the back. Room was large with proper king bed and one single bed for three people. This place should be called a home stay rather than a boutique resort as there is no other facility apart from the accommodation and breakfast room. Breakfast was basic with yummy pork boiled rice and toast with jam. Room rate over weekend and long holiday was obviously overpriced for what it was. Staff was generally friendly. There is parking space in front of the place in their garden. You will need a car to get around, approximately 5 minutes drive to famous floating Amphawa Floating market. Upon check out we asked for the receipt, they said they did not have any and could not produce one for us. So we asked them to send it by post mail, we will see if they can manage to send us in a couple of days as promised.

The hotel is very good, leaning against the river in the woods! It is a typical resort, the hotel is a wooden house! Originally booked is a common room, the first floor feels a bit wet and added 600 rooms, the hotel is about 15 minutes drive from the US attack train market and the Amphawa market. You can book a 100-seat single-time transfer with the hotel. You can hear all kinds of birds, the feeling that is rare in the country, the feeling in the woods, the morning is also the birds and flowers! The hotel's food is very good, the variety is very complete and the taste is also very good! If you don't want to eat in the market, you can order the hotel really good!

We stayed Friday and Saturday night at Ban Mae Arom to experience the Amphawa floating Market. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Dao, the daughter and manager speaks great English and is super helpful. We had a room with a private, ensuite bathroom. Easy walk to the floating market boats, and there is a small convenience store literally next door where you can buy drinks and just hang out on the porch. They put together bags of alms for the monks which you can purchase - the monks come by between 6 and 7 AM. We also had a free breakfast both mornings. We did the 1 hour Firefly tour which picks up right at the guesthouse porch at 8pm. We also did the bike tour to Tha Kha floating Market at 8:30 am with the Uncle on Sunday which was quite fun! (Though a bit longer than we planned - sorry we checked out a bit late!). Dao also helped to arrange a taxi for us back to Bangkok. Thank you so much!

The location is a bit off. You can only call motorcycles or tutu when you get in and out. The room is close to the river, and there will be boats passing by at night, which is a bit noisy. The whole is a clean, small and fresh homestay, which shows the boss's intentions and taste. The boss is a handsome and enthusiastic boy. The next day he arranged to send us to the attraction for free.

Coconut Home Resort is an ideal spot from which to discover Amphawa (Samut Songkhram). From here, guests can enjoy easy access to all that the lively city has to offer. With its convenient location, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations.

The resort is very small. I counted 7 rooms. Every room faces the swimming pool which was sparkly clean. What makes this resort so remarkable were the staffs. They were very friendly. Brought Thai drinks and fresh coconut after we checked in. The room was clean and airy. The floating market was only a couple of minutes walk and the staff walked with us thru the back streets. They also arranged the boat ride at night to watch the fireflies. After we came back from the boat ride they brought us hot ginger tea. All in all a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this resort.

Lovely big room in nice garden setting - do ask for a room upstairs otherwise you will have people walking past your window. Good air con, fridge and one of the funny little Asian hot water thermos for making tea or coffee. Do ask them for some proper mugs rather than the paper ones they have in the room. For breakfast you go down to their sister resort on the river, which is fab so you can sit and look out on the river and have your breakfast. No one at breakfast speaks English so tough if you don't like fried eggs, ham and nasty sausage for breakfast! They do give you a nice place of fruit and juice which is better than the usual cordial you usually get in Asia. And of course there is powdered milk with the instant coffee for breakfast. Sorry I sound a bit jaded about the breakfast fare but I have just had this same breakfast dished up to me once too often in Thailand! The hotel is down a nice quiet little country/suburban road an easy walk from the floating market, so an ideal base for visiting the markets.

This place was absolutely beautiful. It is off the beaten path which is just what I was looking for. The rooms are very nice and unique. Depending on what building you stay in they look very different. The staff was very accommodating and I even took a cooking class while I was there. I came during monsoon season and loved falling asleep to the rain and the frogs chirping.

The hotel is a resort, located by the river, the environment is very good, but the traffic is particularly inconvenient, the tourist attractions are on the other side of the river. If it is not self-driving or chartered, it is not recommended to live, it is not convenient to travel. We took a taxi from Bangkok to the hotel, which took less than 2 hours. Then I asked the hotel how to travel. The hotel said that there is free hotel transportation to let us sit to the crossing of the river. We can go to the scenic spot by boat by ourselves, but when we After visiting the night market and returning to the port hotel, there is no car to pick up, and there is no transportation around. Fortunately, I can speak Thai. After communicating with the Thai villagers in Thai, the villagers rode us back to the hotel on a tricycle. The traffic is really very good. inconvenient. The breakfast is a buffet, and the taste is okay, very ordinary. Hotel facilities are a bit old, but it does not affect the stay.
