Pros: This hotel truly values its members, I was directly upgraded to an Executive Suite. Two butlers escorted me to my room, and they even remembered my name. The welcome fruit was also incredibly generous – you deserve all the success! I witnessed a breathtaking sunset that I'll remember for a lifetime. I highly recommend the pancakes and pork chop rice at the Clay Craft restaurant; they were absolutely delicious. Cons: The water quality was poor; I used three filter cartridges in two nights. My hair became tangled after washing, and I had to pay for a treatment when I got home. Bottled water was sold for 40 (while it's only 3 at convenience stores outside) – that's highway robbery!

This hotel is very beautiful. Hidden in the tropical rainforest surrounded by rice paddies. It’s a little bit further out from central Ubud but I rented a motorbike and parked i at the hotel. The bath was great. The pool and restaurant was fantastic. The onsite Indian restaurant was phenomenal.

The view from the pool is very beautiful. Overall, the hotel's location is good, but you have to leave the hotel either through a narrow street or some overgrown paths, which doesn't seem very safe. There's a large supermarket and a currency exchange about 10 minutes away. There are many warungs, but we're not big fans of them. The breakfast is so-so, but maybe we're just picky; for the price, it's quite good. The room is spacious, but there's a noise like a refrigerator motor running. Again, for the price of 3.5k per night with breakfast, it's a very spacious room with a comfortable bed, though the pillows aren't great.

A fantastic hotel on the eastern part of the island. It is more suitable for a quiet family vacation and for those who prefer beach relaxation over surfing and parties. It is located quite far from the center of the island's main activity. The hotel has excellent infrastructure. The room was large, spacious, clean, and had everything needed. The breakfasts were excellent and very varied. The hotel staff is wonderful and very friendly. I would especially like to highlight the bartender Dede, who was very courteous and helped me repeatedly in planning my activities in Bali. The hotel has a private beach and various pools to suit any taste. I definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Andaz Bali. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, with a great balance of modern comfort and Balinese character. We stayed in the lagoon access suite, which was definitely a highlight of the trip. Having direct access from our terrace into the lagoon was fantastic, and being able to swim all the way to the main pool made the experience feel really special. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. Alacarte buffet breakfast offered a great variety of local and international options and hand crafted juices and smoothies. Everything we tried throughout our stay was excellent. Overall, Andaz Bali is a fantastic resort for a relaxing getaway. The combination of the beautiful grounds, excellent service, and the lagoon access suite made for a memorable stay. One of the best, if not the best in Sanur. We'd happily return.

Pros: The pools are big enough for a relaxed and spacious swim. There's an ice cream cafe, and the place is clean. The staff are friendly, and the room has all the essentials: tea, coffee, and water replenished daily. Cons: Breakfasts are mostly Asian, and they often try to pass off old food as fresh, especially the potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Very few fruits; only watermelon and papaya for the whole week. Absolutely no variety. A huge downside is the noise! If your room is near the elevator, expect constant banging and humming. You can also clearly hear conversations and other noises from the neighboring room. There's a cafe called 2 Roots nearby; it's delicious, I recommend it.

Mandapa is nestled in the Ubud forest, surrounded by rainforest and built into the mountainside. It's a secluded sanctuary, perfect for cleansing the soul and allowing me to slowly and peacefully savor every day of my vacation. I was particularly impressed with their butler service. During my three-day, two-night stay, everything was meticulously planned for me, from the transfer service to and from the hotel in Jimbaran Bay, to my river adventure, spa appointments, scheduled photography session, and dinner reservations. My butler orchestrated everything, acting like a personal secretary. Furthermore, most of the hotel's restaurants are outdoors, allowing guests to dine amidst the forest. Surprisingly, the environmental hygiene and insect control were excellent, which I truly appreciated. The villa's cleanliness was also ideal; I didn't spot a single spiderweb, ant, small spider, or any other insect or dust mite within the 430-square-meter villa. The hygiene was superb. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt incredibly serene and relaxing, making it perfectly suited for couples to enjoy a slow-paced, leisurely trip. Regarding the food, I tried breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner at three of their restaurants. The dining atmosphere and food quality were consistently excellent. The spa lived up to the standards of a 6-star hotel! Given its Michelin 3-star status, the hotel truly meets that benchmark. One minor thing to note is that during dinner at one of their Indonesian restaurants, there's a traditional Indonesian dance performance where performers wear a deity mask. This might make some guests, especially those with young children, feel uncomfortable or even frightened. This is something to be aware of.

Been here for 3 nights for our honeymoon. the staffs were incredibly nice. we are Bali people but we did not get or feel any discrimination at all, they treat us the same as foreigners. they have natural hot spring water pool, it was hot honestly, so we did not go very often. but they have ocean view pool and garden view pool which much cooler. The food was great!! All breakfast food we had never failed to satisfy us. Best of the best was the romantic dinner my husband prepared for me which is great!! Definitely will be back on our next holiday 👌

The sunset was absolutely stunning! I spent nearly two hours mesmerized by it at the private beach's sunset bar. The live music was so relaxing, making it the perfect spot to simply unwind and indulge in the luxury of doing nothing. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. They offered a complimentary shuttle service, taking me wherever I wanted to go and picking me up afterwards. As a solo traveler, I was initially a bit apprehensive since I didn't encounter any other Japanese guests. However, when the popular local warung (eatery) I wanted to visit was closed, they kindly took me back the next day. Also, when the hotel spa was fully booked and I mentioned wanting to try a local spa, they drove me there with the shuttle and even offered to take me to another place if it was also full. The breakfast area was lovely; I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the second floor early in the morning. Even the staff at the local beachside eateries were friendly, making it a very comfortable place to be. Although I didn't go on the dolphin tour or visit the nearby waterfalls, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxed and wonderfully hospitable experience.

I was actually a bit worried because previous reviews had a lot of complaints about the hot tub. However, once we arrived, it turns out Bobocabin has made improvements. We were able to enjoy the Kintamani hot springs privately, right next to our cabin, with a view of the lake to boot. The only downside is that the road to the location is quite narrow and not in good condition if you're driving. Don't be surprised by the many flies, as this is typical of Kintamani.

For a couple of days, a good hotel. You can rent a bike at the hotel for 70K, there is a diving center nearby. You can order a transfer to the airport, since it is difficult to find a taxi in this area. I ordered to the airport for 700K. The room is spacious, there is air conditioning, hot water and that's it. The room is not cleaned. You can eat in the cafe near the hotel. The prices are reasonable. The cafe is open until 10 pm. The ocean is about 40 meters from the hotel.

This is the only hotel I will stay if I come back to Kuta again. Each person has their own experience, personally, I like quiet, chill, private, and locally traditional style so I can be more immersed in the local culture. Poppies Hotel provides such entertainment and friendly services. The room, the decoration, the little garden for each cottage, and the well-designed space and the beautiful pool!! I mean, I didn’t go outside for anything, simply just staying in the hotel for whole day until my surfing class in the late afternoon. Also, I used the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner…haha, I mean just trustworthy with fresh, clean and delicious food. The staff there almost worked for 20+ years so they were like families to those who often come to Bali and stay at Poppies. The driver who provided pickup and drop off to the airport services Mag (hopefully I was right) worked there for 20 years and still loves his job! Before I left for the airport, I went to the pool and lied down for the last 30 minutes, even being a bit emotional for it was so PEACEFUL!! I love Poppies Hotel!!!

I chose to stay at this Hotel as it was close to the airport for a late night arrival and there was a free airport shuttle. As a single older lady this was importsnt for me. Everything was great. Driver was there waiting despite almost 2 hours waiting for baggage dnd getting through customs at Bali airport. Hotel is clean, friendly and the rooftop Pool snd har although only small is a great place to relax after travelling. Close to beach and shops and malls. Felt very comfortable here ( oh and breakfast is great!). Also, the adjacent Envy restaurant close to the beach is perfect for evening meal.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was a solo trip, and this time with my husband. I love the location as it is in the middle of Ubud City Center and all the attractions up north (Tegalalang, Tirta Empul, etc). Forgot to take any photo of the room though, but it was very comfortable! Breakfast is good, but the soy latte is too sweet for my liking. Need better plant-based mylk option. But overall, an enjoyable stay!

A taxi from the airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes, and there's a convenience store right across the street. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and it's quite substantial, though the 10 AM cut-off feels a bit early. All the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money.

The villa is excellent, everything is clean and comfortable. The outdoor dining area is super convenient, with a canopy providing shade and a beautiful view of the pool. The linen is clean. Everything you need is provided. The bathrobes are a separate highlight; the fabric is so pleasant to the skin that I even thought about buying some for myself. Breakfasts are quite simple, sometimes there was nothing I really wanted to take. There's also a restaurant on site, and everything there is very delicious; they can even prepare and deliver your entire order to the villa. The grounds are green and beautiful, with two communal pools. You can borrow free bicycles and ride them around the entire property. The spa is excellent. The villas are located right next to a busy road, so you can hear car noises at night, but you get used to them by the second day. There are shops nearby. The beach isn't very close, but the airport is about 15 minutes away by car, which is convenient. Overall, the impression is wonderful; I'd love to return a second time.

We booked a family room with one bed through Trip, and it was cheaper than the identical room with two beds, even though both room types were the same price on the hotel's website. I messaged the hotel support on WhatsApp asking to change the room type, and they changed it without any issues. Before check-in, they sent an email about the option for online check-in, allowing us to upload passport scans beforehand to avoid waiting at the reception. The check-in process was quick. Upon arrival, we immediately received our room cards and a complimentary welcome drink for everyone. The pool area is fantastic; the kids loved the slides, and we all participated in the contests organized by the animators. The location is perfect, situated between Beachwalk shopping mall and Waterbom Waterpark, with the beach just across the road. The breakfasts were good, with plenty of fruits and sweets. They even had milk porridge every other day, which my son happily ate. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replaced towels. The only downsides were the very narrow balconies, only suitable for drying clothes, and the difficulty in finding sun loungers, especially four together for the whole family. It felt like tourists from Korea and Australia would reserve loungers with their towels and belongings before breakfast and then not show up until after 11 AM.

The hotel's toiletries are excellent, and they provide unlimited filtered drinking water daily. The hotel also organizes daily activities that guests can choose to join. Facilities: There are many swimming pools with clean water. There's also a beach pool, a favorite for kids, and a small private beach – not ideal for swimming, but perfect for a quick dip. Breakfast: It's decent, enough to fill you up. Surroundings: There's a construction site nearby, but it's not noisy, just a slight obstruction to the view. Transportation: It's quite far from the city center, so you'll need a taxi to get around. There are no convenience stores nearby.

On the very first day of our stay, my husband got severe food poisoning after breakfast. We couldn't pinpoint the exact food, but it might have been the eggs (omelet). The sea doesn't match the photos on the hotel's page; in reality, you can't really swim in it. In the bay, the water only reaches an adult's waist at most, even up to the buoys, and there's a lot of seaweed in the water. Anyone who dislikes algae at the bottom and in the water will be very uncomfortable. If you want to swim, you'll need to go to other beaches towards the southern part of the island. Otherwise, the hotel's infrastructure and staff are excellent, 5/5.

I was delighted when the hotel restaurant prepared a celebratory plate for my friend's wedding upon request. I think this hotel is perfect for special trips or anniversaries. What's more, you can experience activities like scrub making within the hotel if you book in advance. It was great to have activities to enjoy while staying at the hotel. The pool was also beautiful, and I really got to savor the resort feeling. I highly recommend this hotel when you want to enjoy a slightly more luxurious hotel stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The entire property was kept very clean, and all the staff were extremely friendly. There were pool activities starting at 11:00 a.m., which made the stay even more enjoyable. I had heard that the hotel could be noisy, but I didn’t find it noisy at all. There were live bands performing in the garden, and it created a fun and lively atmosphere. The shampoo provided is a combined shampoo and conditioner, so if you prefer using a separate conditioner, I recommend bringing your own. I also appreciated that there were USB ports for charging smartphones, which was very convenient. At the shopping mall next door, you can watch a Kecak dance performance every evening from 6:00 p.m. It’s free to watch, and the performance is truly impressive. It’s definitely worth seeing, especially considering that it’s free.

We had a lovely stay at Visesa Ubud Resort. The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Ubud. One unique feature was the bathtub located right in the center of the room, which made the design feel modern and artistic. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature and rice terraces. There are many photo spots around the property, and we really enjoyed taking pictures with the rice field views as the backdrop. It is definitely a great place for nature lovers and those looking to unwind in a peaceful environment. However, the breakfast selection was a bit limited. There were too many Indian-style dishes and not enough international options. It would be even better if the resort could offer a more diverse and balanced breakfast menu to cater to different tastes. Overall, Visesa Ubud Resort is a charming resort with great design and atmosphere. With a few improvements to the breakfast, it would be an even more amazing experience.

This is one of those hotels you just want to return to. Over six days, we never once felt like we were missing anything. On the contrary, every day we discovered something new, and we really didn't want to leave. The most striking impression was the level of service. They truly surround you with care from the moment you check in until you check out. It was incredibly convenient that we could communicate with staff via WhatsApp: we ordered room service, used the laundry, booked activities, and any question was resolved quickly. The Kids Club deserves a special mention. We loved the eco-friendly approach: the hotel has its own garden where children can walk around, plant and care for plants, make crafts from natural materials, and participate in various creative activities. The club itself is very clean, well-equipped, and the educators are incredibly kind and attentive. Besides that, there’s a real, small mini-zoo on the premises. Every day we went to see the animals: there are deer, goats, rabbits, birds, an otter, and other inhabitants. The deer impressed the children the most. You can also go fishing. The hotel grounds are incredibly beautiful. The pool with a jungle view is one of the most memorable spots, where we wanted to spend time every day. The food also left an excellent impression. Breakfasts were very diverse. A personal discovery for me was the coconut vegan yogurts – so delicious that I ate them every morning. And when we left in the middle of the night to catch the sunrise at Mount Batur, they thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take with us. Over the six days, we still didn't manage to try everything the hotel has to offer. There are so many activities for adults and children that you could easily spend your entire vacation here without hardly leaving the property. The only thing to consider is that the hotel is located not in the center of Ubud, but closer to Kintamani. For us, this was actually an advantage – it's quiet all around, with fresh air and a feeling of complete unity with nature. There's a free shuttle several times a day to the center, so getting there isn't difficult. Due to its elevated location, it's cooler here in the mornings and evenings than in Ubud itself, so I recommend bringing a light sweater.

We enjoy our stay at The Komu Canggu Bali where many eateries (local food and brunch cafe) are located within the vicinity. Starbuck , Pickleball court , 24 hours mart, massage , Secret Garden are ＜200m away. Not to forget Finns Beach Club is also walking distance. A special thanks to the front desk crew Edwin and a few of them for being so friendly and recommended a lot must try restaurant in Canggu and Ubud, we will definitely come again ❤️

Service was excellent, each time we called in reception, they got to our room in no more than 3mins. They were all happy to help, with smiles all the time. The bed was really comfortable and HUGE. The room was suuuuper spacious as well. However, we felt that the room’s cleanliness and attention to detail could be better. The bidet, light switches and bedside table tops were oily & not wiped down properly. Room service food was lacking as well - pizza crust tasted like biscuit… mango & banana smoothie didn’t taste anything like the fruits. brownie was good tho it was a tiny portion… Amenities wise, the gym was very dusty & untouched. One of the treadmills could not be turned on as well. Overall not very well maintained but honestly cant expect much bc its quite a small hotel. Pool was alright - just that they could work on making a higher/deeper barrier/ drainage system bc the pool water kept splashing out to the walkway pavement. The walls are not sound proof, we could hear alot of talking outside & there was loud construction early in the morning at 8am which the reception did not warn us about as well. Overall given the price, i would say its pretty worth it if you don’t mind these small flaws. I would say that the service of the staff made me look past some of these flaws. But they definitely do have to work on them.

However, in both cases, the staff responded very promptly and with genuine care. The room change was handled quickly, and regarding the breakfast issue, they sincerely apologized and showed a strong commitment to improvement. I believe that what truly matters in travel is not whether problems never occur, but rather how they are resolved when they do. In that regard, the service at this hotel was truly impressive. Thanks to the warm smiles and kindness of the staff, the good memories far outweighed the inconveniences. This hotel is very beautiful. Hidden in the tropical rainforest surrounded by rice paddies. It’s a little bit further out from central Ubud but I rented a motorbike and parked i at the hotel. The bath was great. The pool and restaurant was fantastic. The onsite Indian restaurant was phenomenal.

Good hotels, but needed refurbishment soon. One of the room assigned to our group was not very good condition anymore, slidding door with broken lock and hard to open/close, phone line was not connected well, furniture was worn out and feels outdated with all interior. We had booked 2 rooms and requested on king size bed in both rooms but they were located very far from each other. They should have at least given us the option to take the room or preferred closer to each other with different bed type. They told us that we were upgraded to the room with pool access, but we feel like being downgraded with out of service room. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast service. It has a great varieties, freshly prepared dishes, pleasant and relaxing ambiance, and fresh local fruit was incredible. We love the pool too, good design and very well maintain, so many choices of pool for different age group and activities, great crowds at the pool bar area, and good number of sun lounges. The stay is still memorable to our family. Recommended

This was a really great place to stay. It's located in the heart of Seminyak, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and beachfront restaurants like Ku De Ta. The room was spacious, and although the pool was a bit chilly, we still enjoyed it. When we had early morning tours, they brought breakfast to our room earlier than usual, and I was personally satisfied with the wide variety of options. The staff were also very kind. It's unavoidable, but there were some mosquitoes in the room. However, it was within an acceptable range (just one flying around the room). The restaurant within the villa was a bit pricey. The spa was decent, but the service was very meticulous, and overall I was quite satisfied. I'd definitely want to go back.
