This elegantly appointed and spacious single-family home is in the only golf resort community near the small town of Bethany Beach, Delaware. PLEASE NOTE: The property is NOT within walking distance of the beach. Salt Pond is a separate community which is NOT in the town . The information that VRBO provides and the map that VRBO provides ( NOT provided by me) are incorrect. Also, THE PROPERTY RENTS FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY . Towels and linens not included.The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms have been extensively upgraded with new furnishings, appliances, and carpeting. The large bedrooms are deliberately furnished in a non-dormitory manner to ensure a comfortable environment. All four bedrooms have either 1 queen or 1 king size bed. Sit out on the expansive rear deck and look out over the 12th fairway and enjoy views of a pond! A Weber gas grill is there for your outdoor cooking needs. The clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, and exercise room are only a short distance away. Rent a kayak in town and paddle around Salt Pond. If more activities are required, Rehoboth Beach (outlet shopping!) is just a short drive to the north along scenic Ocean Highway. Just to the south is Fenwick Island and Ocean City, Maryland which have almost unlimited shopping, restaurants, activities, boardwalk, etc.This house was built in 2000. The wide driveway provides plenty of parking. The community is built around a golf course which provides a lot of open space and a quiet, resort feel. The kitchen is completely stocked with any items or appliances you might need. It's an easy walk, bike ride or you can take the Bethany open-air Trolley for just a quarter. A two minute walk will bring you to the pool, tennis court, pickle ball and basketball areas. There's a small play area for children with swings for both toddlers and big kids. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ice maker and garbage disposal. There is a microwave oven, coffee machine. Dishes, table ware, glasses, pots and pans are at your disposal. There is also a washer/dryer in the house. The dining area seats 6. In the living room there is a 32" TV with Roku box to login and access all your favorite Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix shows and there is wifi available throughout the house. The outdoor deck is furnished with a table and seating for 6 along with an outdoor closet with a few beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. There is also an outdoor shower available to clean up after a long day at the beach. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. This spacious contemporary condo is bright, clean, sunny and cheerful with gorgeous ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and the large private balcony. You can relax while overlooking the promenade, the dunes, and the wide stretch of beach and ocean. While drinking our coffee in the morning, we watch the playful dolphins below as the sun rises over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. We bought a new king size bed for the primary bedroom and bought two new queen-sized beds for the second bedroom. So now the condo has a king-size bed in the primary bedroom, and two queen-size beds in the second bedroom, making enough room for 6 people to sleep comfortably. We also purchased two 90' sofas for the living room so if someone wants to sleep separately, they can sleep on one of the sofas in the living room. We purchased a new contemporary dining room set with six chairs. All beds have new comforter sets making the entire condo very clean and fresh.We have also purchased three new televisions, one for each bedroom and the living room. They have flat screens and hang on the walls, making for more spacious living.In addition to repainting the entire condo, we replaced the window treatments in the primary bedroom. They now have beautiful contemporary shutters.We have replaced the entire set of balcony door and windows across the front of the balcony and back into the primary bedroom. It had become faulty and now it is working beautifully and the glass windows and door are perfectly clear. The washer/dryer and the dishwasher in the kitchen have been replaced with new ones. The refrigerator has also been replaced.The hall bathroom and the kitchen have recently been renovated. New porcelain tile floors were added throughout the living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. We also opened up the kitchen by knocking out two walls giving a more open feel to the condo. We are excited about our new look. We renovated the primary bathroom also!We placed keyless locks on our outside door, making keyless entry possible. No more keys to return to the owner after your stay.We love the wide stretch of private beach for Sea Colony guests only. There are life guards on the beach in the summer. We have filled our beach locker in the first floor garage with beach chairs and toys which are available to you during your stay in our condo. It is much less crowded than the beach in town, and much much less crowded than Rehobeth or Ocean City beaches. Sea Colony has 24-hour security. A vacation in Sea Colony can run the gamut from beach fun to tax-free shopping to golfing, tennis and water sports. The privacy of the 'quiet resort' allows guests to sunbathe and enjoy the soothing ocean breezes in peace. Amusement parks and outlet shopping centers are not far and they provide more variety of family-friendly fun. This world-class resort tennis facility offers an astounding 34 courts along with tennis clinics, camps and lessons by teaching professionals. Golf courses nearby include two dozen courses featuring waterfront and forest layouts designed by Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. Sea Colony also organizes weekly events such as bingo, campfires for making s'mores on the beach, and other fun family activities.The town of Bethany is only 1/2 mile north of Sea Colony, an easy walk to the boardwalk, restaurants, bakeries, bookstore, and many other specialty shops. The library in town allows summer vacationers to get a card and use their services which include a nice variety of DVDs and books. We enjoy many of the fine restaurants in Bethany and Oceanview, and if you want to go a bit further, Fenwick, Rehobeth, and Ocean City also have many great restaurants.The guest passes Sea Colony requires of all renters age 4 and up are purchased at check-in at Marketplace. They vary according to season. Enjoy the incredible panoramic ocean views from this beach front condo. Bright and sunny, this 3 bedroom condominium is on the 7th floor of a beachfront building in Sea Colony. Sea Colony is the premier family beach and tennis resort community located in Bethany Beach, Delaware. We purchased this condo in 2019 and started listing it on VRBO in 2021. We manage this ourselves and not through a large management company. This is in the Island House building and offers stunning, unobstructed views of the ocean and beach from the living room and master bedroom. This is the last building in the complex and has the least crowded beach area. The 1/2 mile long private beach and multiple swimming pools are steps away from the elevator. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests. In 2022, we replaced all of the carpeting with luxury vinyl plank flooring, removed the wallpaper and painted the master bedroom and installed new closet doors in each bedroom. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and furniture which was purchased in 2020, flatscreen smart TV with xfinity, and private bathroom with tub and shower. The bathroom also has the washer/dryer there. The wallpaper in the room was removed and fully painted in 2022. This room offers beautiful views of the ocean - fall asleep to the sounds of the waves!The second bedroom has a queen size bed and smart flatscreen TV with xfinity. Both lamps have USB ports built right into them for easy charging. This room was freshly painted in 2020. The third bedroom has two twin size beds and a flatscreen TV with xfinity. Both lamps and nightstand have USB ports built right into them for easy charging as well. This room was freshly painted in 2026. The kitchen is spacious and stocked with plenty of items needed for cooking. Includes a Keurig and regular coffee machine, waffle iron, small grill, shaker, blender, mixer, plenty of pots/pans, dishes, glasses, and more. Has a two person island seating.The dining room set for 6 purchased was purchased in 2020 with 4 chairs and a bench.The Living room has a comfy sectional purchased in 2020 as well. There is a console stocked with a variety of books and games, and a new 65" smart flatscreen TV with a Google Chromecast to cast video to. Relax on the couch while overlooking the ocean!The balcony has a table and 4 chairs and recently added a chaise lounge chair with small table for relaxing.There is a convenient electronic keyless entry system for the condo. The code will be provided prior to your arrival.There is a reserved parking space under the building, so your car stays cool in the summer months and is very close to the beach.No pets or smoking allowed inside or outside the condo.We only rent for 7 day weeks from Memorial Day through Labor Day - Saturday to Saturday.
