Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and had no toilet roll or towels in. Tv didn’t work on the wifi or normal tv channels. There looks like there has been a leak and chunks of concrete were loose under the window-ledge. The positives were the Sea view and tower view from the room and the power in the shower was great. The room did also have a fan, an Iron and board, safe and hair dryer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was fine for £7 and you could park until midnight on the day of check-out. The room in general was dated and in need of an uplift, but it was ok for a base for 1 night.

The Norbrek Castle must have been lavish and upmarket in it's day but sadly looks sad and depressed now. However, we knew this when we booked and opted for it because of it's good points, the location is good with bus and tram stops outside, there is plenty of parking with an assured chance of finding a space if you take the car out and return, the room was as clean as it is possible to clean an old property with clean bedding and towels, the breakfast is basic but again satisfactory and the staff helpful and friendly. We did not, on this occasion use the pool or any of the entertainment facilities. All in all an ok choice for a couple of nights as somewhere simply to sleep

The experience was very good. I visited with my children. They enjoyed the breakfast especially the waffle. Luggage storage was amazing too. After checking out, we had to keep our Luggage as the train time was still hours after check out. Easy access to the attractions and the tram and bus stop close to the hotel. The room size is okay, but it would have been better if there was ventilation, especially in this hot weather.

I read some mixed reviews about this hotel but I thought it was fine. A bit tired in places but its a big building so it's probably to be expected. It's about three stops from the North Pier and Tower so it's not too far out the way. A big shout out to Ryan who let me check in early and the lovely blonde lady who was on breakfast duty. Both were very helpful. There was no entertainment on the night i was there I don't think but I'll happily come back and check that out.

Everything is good except the bed sheet, it kept slipping off after sleeping in.  It's a flat sheet too small to tie down on the edge and corners.  We asked the staff for help and we tried to do it ourselves but it was not fixable because the flat sheet is just too small to secure the bed coverage.  The staff members are super friendly and they do try their best to help you.  The spa in the hotel is also great.  Overall the experience is beyond expectations.  The location is also great and safe.

The location of the hotel was perfect for pleasure beach and only a short walk to pubs and food places. We got a warm welcome from the lovely young guy with the cool nail varnish and also a very friendly check out from the lovely italian guy. The hotel and the room were very clean and the toiletries in the room were very lovely. Reccommemd this hotel 100 percent and would stay here again on my next Blackpool visit. I was also very impressed that i got my 100gbp deposit back on my account in less than four hours, Thank you.

The best western carlton is a superb hotel to stay for one or two nights or more.the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom with super hot water is great.lie back and enjoy that well earned break away. Superb value for money and the staff are very welcoming on arrival. Good location and in a quiet area of Blackpool. Shops and north pier about 10 to 15 mins walk.

I had asked the staff to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband for our wedding anniversary, and so much effort was put into doing this. The staff left us a card and wrote such a lovely message to complete the gesture and make it even more special. We were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance.

The shower and toilet were shared on that floor. I didn't use the shower because it didn't look very pleasant. It's best to bring your own towels, hairdryer, and shampoo. The walls were thin, but I slept well. The host was kind and let me in even though I arrived 10 minutes before check-in. Considering the price, the facilities are decent, so I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a place to sleep.

We loved our stay from start to finish. Steve and Elaine are lovely and very knowledgeable about what to do around Blackpool. The room and overall hotel amenities are beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast options are lovely and generous too! So much variety, we tried four options between us two and everything was so yummy!! The parking offered is only a few meters from the hotel which is so convenient. We are so happy of our stay :) thank you!

The hotel is very close to the sea, not far from the main attractions, and you can walk on the wide trail along the coast; The English breakfast cooked by the landlord’s wife is delicious. The landlord and his wife are warm and courteous, meticulous and thoughtful. They are very willing to help every visitor. It is pleasant! I found a delicious Chinese restaurant with the enthusiastic help of the landlord, which is very delicious! Easy parking, just in front of the door!

Stopped at no27 last night. What a lovely hotel and lovely hosts and nothing was to Much trouble for them made to feel really welcome We only had a double room but it was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy and had everything you would need. We were privileged to have a tour of the other rooms wow.. beautiful and very good value for the money. We will definitely book this hotel next time.

USGuest UserEverything is good except the bed sheet, it kept slipping off after sleeping in.  It's a flat sheet too small to tie down on the edge and corners.  We asked the staff for help and we tried to do it ourselves but it was not fixable because the flat sheet is just too small to secure the bed coverage.  The staff members are super friendly and they do try their best to help you.  The spa in the hotel is also great.  Overall the experience is beyond expectations.  The location is also great and safe.

The location of the hotel was perfect for pleasure beach and only a short walk to pubs and food places. We got a warm welcome from the lovely young guy with the cool nail varnish and also a very friendly check out from the lovely italian guy. The hotel and the room were very clean and the toiletries in the room were very lovely. Reccommemd this hotel 100 percent and would stay here again on my next Blackpool visit. I was also very impressed that i got my 100gbp deposit back on my account in less than four hours, Thank you.

The experience was very good. I visited with my children. They enjoyed the breakfast especially the waffle. Luggage storage was amazing too. After checking out, we had to keep our Luggage as the train time was still hours after check out. Easy access to the attractions and the tram and bus stop close to the hotel. The room size is okay, but it would have been better if there was ventilation, especially in this hot weather.

We were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance.

Firstly, the sign on the door says, ”Tudor Rose Original” - in case anyone was wondering. There's not many places which are on the promenade for a family of 4 for ＜£40. We stayed in the quad room, which had a double and 2 singles, perfect for the 4 of us. It's a very short walk to the beach, South Pier, Water Land, Pleasure Beach and there's a Whetherspoons around the corner. The tram stop is also close by (South Pier). The welcome we got was nice. Sarah and Robert were nice. We needed toilet roll, milk and mugs for the room which were quickly stocked. The curtain rail fell down immediately on entering the room, and it was taken care of quickly. They have free pool and fussball in the living room and we're playing energetic music which I liked. The bar is empty, but Sarah told us that bringing in alcohol was not a problem. Very nice welcoming people. The room was fine. Theres always 3 things that I look for in a room: 1) Comfy bed 2) Cleanliness 3) Hot water and working shower 1) Beds were fine actually. I thought the mattresses were a bit ”springy” - as in I could feel the springs. But we all slept on them fine. 2) Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The carpet needs changing, and we found some rubbish (sweet wrappers) behind one of the chairs in the room that wasn't ours. Also the curtains looked a little suspect (?mould on them). Blinds would be a nice replacement. 3) The shower was awful unfortunately and what really let this stay down. The hot water wasnt the problem, but the shower shot out first boiling hot water, then when the cold water eventually caught up, the pressure dropped significantly and so I could only have a warm dribble shower. This may need addressing. It could be because we were on the third floor, but it was still slightly disappointing. We were given towels for the room too. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work either. All in all, for a last minute booking, it was a cheap and cheerful stay. 7/10

I read some mixed reviews about this hotel but I thought it was fine. A bit tired in places but its a big building so it's probably to be expected. It's about three stops from the North Pier and Tower so it's not too far out the way. A big shout out to Ryan who let me check in early and the lovely blonde lady who was on breakfast duty. Both were very helpful. There was no entertainment on the night i was there I don't think but I'll happily come back and check that out.

The hotel appears somewhat outdated. The bathroom is compact and had a noticeable black stain on the tiles and some area , and the bedroom is also relatively small. Despite these shortcomings, the meal was really enjoyable.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and had no toilet roll or towels in. Tv didn’t work on the wifi or normal tv channels. There looks like there has been a leak and chunks of concrete were loose under the window-ledge. The positives were the Sea view and tower view from the room and the power in the shower was great. The room did also have a fan, an Iron and board, safe and hair dryer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was fine for £7 and you could park until midnight on the day of check-out. The room in general was dated and in need of an uplift, but it was ok for a base for 1 night.

The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and can help if you want to change rooms or have any problems with the facilities. Although the breakfast is not rich, there is a breakfast shop next door that opens at 9:30. The facilities are a bit old but basically all can be used.
