I hate to write bad reviews. It’s not fair to the hard working staff. However - This time I HAVE to make an exception. I’m habe booked a stay in The Radisson Blu in Bukarest - Junior Suite. Nice staff, however- terrible place. We are living on a construction site. (they should have told us) It is terribly loud as they are working on the ground floor. The room was not clean (Cornflakes under the bed) Furniture was broken Hair and dirt in the bathrooms No stationary Old coffee machine Fitness Center is being used by public as well - 5 star hotel ? Carpets are old and used All in all I deeply REGRET the stay

Location is perfect, you can find tons of restaurants, touristic places just a few hundred meters away.... The room are very clean, nothing to complain about. Rooms can be somewhat loud, but just ask for a more quit one and it should be perfect. Crew is clearly on point, always helpful (even when they don't have to) and will always try to advise as best as they can for places to see. Even with the current Covid situation, the breakfast can be served on the terasse and is really good. I came in Bucarest for work, the whole Hilton team made the trip much more pleasant. I will come again for sure

This was my fourth or fifth visit to the Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest, but it was my first time not on business and the first time with my wife. I believe it predates its association with Hilton. What you get is a classic hotel in the center of what makes Bucharest special with the advantages of the Hilton Brand. It has been my experience that European Hiltons are more luxurious than those in the US. This hotel is certainly no exception. We only experienced breakfast in the restaurant, but it was totally first class, from service to the freshness and variety of items, all combining to provide a pampered experience. The same could be said for the Executive Lounge. Not large, but nicely laid out, well attended and with impressive spreads of food, both during evening snacks and during breakfast. Like breakfast in the dining room, the service was truly first class. Our room was nice, with a comfortable bed, well resupplied amenities and plenty of hangers and hanging space. We only visited the spa and fitness area, but they were well laid out and well staffed. The pool wasn't huge, but it was larger than many, not as long as I would have preferred for swimming laps, but long enough. Reception and concierge were top class and quite helpful, and the hotel lobby and space between the lobby and restaurant are what you would want if you were entertaining important guests. The same could be said for the bar area (I think called the London Pub). If I were entertaining business guests, I would be very pleased to do it here. Finally, the location is perfect - across the street from Revolution Square and national art museum and a short walk to old town. If I return to Bucharest, I will, with a doubt, return to the Athenee Palace.

We stayed her for a long weekend in February. We had booked a deluxe double room which included a complimentary mini bar. When we arrived at the hotel we received a very warm welcome from the reception staff and were told that we were also to receive a complimentary breakfast in the buffet restaurant. This was great as it set us up nicely for the day. Lots of choice and of good quality. Sparkling wine was available each morning too. We had a city view room on level 8. The style of the room is classic Intercontinental. It was extremely comfortable and had a balcony. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather so often had the balcony door open. The amenities were great. High quality toiletries, nespresso coffee machine, robes, slippers and the mini bar. The mini bar which consisted of wine, beer, spirits, mixers, soft dinks, water and snacks was replenished each day. We chose the hotel as we are IHG members and the location. 40 mins in a cab from the airport (although we got the bus back no 783, went from the stop just south of the hotel) 10 min walk to the Old Town, 30 min walk to Palace of the Parliament. Spa/ pool is good too. IHG members get a complimentary welcome drink at the bar too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Bucharest. Highly recommended.

First, I have to say Thank you fellow tripadvisor members for the help in my choosing Europa Royale Bucharest Hotel. This hotel was perfect for our three night stay at the end of a Balkan three country tour with Gate 1 that completed in Bucharest. We had already partially toured the city with our group, and we picked this hotel because of the location (almost perfect part of the city for a wide variety of interests). The price of the hotel was reasonable. Over the three additional days staying in Bucharest, it was so convenient each day to explore very economically the other areas around by using the subway, which is very good, inexpensive, very easy to use and it is very close to the hotel. There is a small grocery store about two blocks from the hotel, which came in handy, purchasing extra water needed, etc. (we were there in June, getting warm then). The Promenade shopping mall is just across the way. Old Town is right there behind the hotel, so plenty of choices for restaurants there. Unirii Square is the location of the Hotel, so the park and the fountains are right across the street. It is a busy area, but the hotel was quiet and we had no problems with any noise and our air conditioning was fine. We had breakfast each day and it was good. Room was clean, comfortable and the staff efficient and pleasant. Happy to be of help to fellow tripadvisor members with this great review of the hotel. Tripadvisor has been so helpful through all our travels, we must always continue to help each other as best we can, enjoying our passion for travel.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Epoque hotel and have enjoyed every minute. We stayed in a Junior Suite that had it’s own small balcony, a lounge area separate from the bedroom and a large bathroom with shower and double sinks. The room was welcoming with tea, coffee, water and a home baked cake. We didn’t use the min bar, but it was there should we need it. Form the moment we arrived, the staff were courteous and helpful. Tours were organised with ease and efficiency. The company the hotel use for this purpose were excellent also. Breakfast, included in our room rate, was the one of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. There was varied choice from cooked breakfast, cheese, ham, vegetables, cereals, nuts, fruit and pastries to name a few. And.....great quality. At this point I must mention our waitress Doina who made sure every day started with courteous, attentive service, smiles, a sense of humour and great English. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the centre of the Old Town and within minutes of the oldest park in Bucharest. For sure we will return and based on this experience, I would highly recommend a stay.

At £66 per night inc. breakfast this was very good value money. A large hotel right next door to the much more expensive Radisson . I was in the Red Zone ( it is a big hotel to have coloured zones) and had a large room, huge bed, overall modern and comfortable but a step down from the Radisson type hotel room. Looking onto an internal courtyard made this a very quiet room. So make sure you ask for internal facing. Windows opened in the room also which was good for fresh air as the rooms were hot. Breakfast was okay - nothing too special. Uber works well in the city too and is about 35 RON to the airport (£6/$8). A good value base for Bucharest.

One of the very few hotels in Bucharest that still offers free guarded parking (a generous parking lot, not just a narrow stretch of pavement in front of hotel), breakfast included and free access to both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Room and bathroom are well updated and functional. Basically, it's a three star hotel with some four star facilities. Good value for money overall. Although very conveniently located if you don't want to waste much time on the way to airport, the hotel is a bit far from City Center. However, there are a bunch of bus stations around.

We arrived to Concorde hotel in the early hours to be greeted by a lovely and friendly receptionist with lots of tips about the city and how to get around, we found using "Speedy taxis" to be the best and the cheapest these can be booked through the reception desk. The following morning we spoke to the gentleman receptionist who gave us great advice on a company to use for day trips, he organised for us a day trip to Bran Castle,Peles Castle and a trip to Sinaia where we took a cable car ride on Bucegi mountains which was an absolutely fantastic day out so if you are interested then ask to be put in touch via reception with Vladi you will not be disappointed. The hotel itself is modern and is situated in a great area for bars & restaurants with a short walk to the main shopping streets of Bucharest. Our trip included breakfast which consisted of a selection of breads and pastries, meats and cheese, a fruit/veg platter and scrambled eggs which was all really fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding the rooms where cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels.

Was here from 26-02-27-2020. The hotel presents itself in a good location. Very nice reception and farewell. Also the service level at breakfast is great, this is definitely worth it. The rooms are spacious and offer enough space. To operate the air conditioning is a bit tricky. But otherwise the rooms offer a good service. What I did not like: in this complex there is not only the hotel but also shops (on a high level) of the daily life are accommodated there. Thereby, the hotel loses its typical "hotel world charm", one feels in the lobby and in front of the hotel like in a shopping mall. And the lobby is actually a shopping arcade. Thereby, it is quite lively, just too lively for me. But everybody as he likes. Also the traffic situation - especially in the afternoon - is a catastrophe. The road leading to the hotel is miserably congested. So if you arrive there in the afternoon (rush hour), you need a lot of patience and strong nerves. Allow 30 minutes for the last 500 meters. Especially annoying, if you arrive with a rental car, etc., you can't just leave this car 500 meters from the hotel. If you take a taxi, you can get out without further ado, but like this.... Due to this terrible traffic situation and this shopping mall atmosphere, this hotel is not worth a second visit for me. Those who attach importance to style and a cultivated ambiente and like it a little quit, should visit the Grand Hotel Continental.
