Room: spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was on the highest floor and it was quiet. If you’re traveling with an elderly, just be cautious as the shower floor is extremely slippery. One downside is that water pressure and temperature is not very stable. Location: situated in the heart of CBD, it’s a fairly safe area. Parking available for hotel guests and shuttle available to V&A Waterfront Staff: Front desk and lobby staff are friendly and welcoming. Security at the hotel and parking were also very friendly and helpful. Most staff at the restaurant were not as friendly (most but still a few staff was friendly and helpful and provided great service) Staff often forget guests’ drink orders as 2 days in a row, we did not get our tea during breakfast. I also ordered a cappuccino while waiting in front or the coffee machine however I was forgotten as well. I was better off making my own coffee. Breakfast: They served standard American style breakfast with selection of fruits, pastries and salads. Their hashbrowns were my favourites! If only the food can be a little different everyday, we stayed there for 4 days and had the same food everyday. Overall, we enjoyed our stay room but restaurant staffs’ service and attitude can be improved.

The hotel's location is good; there's a clothes market nearby, and it's a 7-minute walk to the colorful houses. The airport is 25 minutes away. The room is clean and includes a hairdryer, fridge, water, shampoo, and soap. A kettle and iron are available on the floor. The linens are good, but the bed is a bit small for two people. Breakfast is ordinary, not luxurious, but you won't go hungry, and the coffee is good. The price is decent. We only stayed one night, and everything was perfectly fine. If you go to the very top of the hotel, there's a view of Table Mountain, and there's a very simple gym.

Advantages: It is close to the waterfront, the room is okay, and the space is large, with a separate living room. Disadvantages: Although it is close to the waterfront, the front and back buildings perfectly block all the landscape, and the waterfront and the Table Mountain cannot be seen. The worst part is that the hot water in the room is not automatic. My partner and I turned around for a long time and found a button. The water wasted for a long time. One person finished washing the other without hot water ... The worse thing is, A 1,000zar deposit was charged. My partner and I forgot to take the deposit when checking out, and they did not remind me. Then we took the deposit bar to retrieve the deposit, saying that the envelope in which our deposit was placed was missing, and we asked him to adjust the monitoring. One of them said that they could not take money from other places, but that the person in charge of the monitoring room was not there. We have to wait for the buddy who checked out the next day to come to work to pay the deposit. We also left our contact information and said that it resolved it and called us, but we did n’t call until the next day. Fortunately, we did n’t rush to rush the plane that day. The next day we went to get the money and the little brother took it out. 1000zar returned to us. I think as a hotel, the deposit bar is the proof that you owe the customer money. No matter where you keep the deposit, it should be returned unconditionally at the first time. If you do n’t lose your envelope, do n’t dare us. Those who check in must remember to take the deposit bar, we are fortunate to save it this time, otherwise they will be hacked. As a large hotel, the quality of employees is very problematic.

A good business hotel, really more of a 4 than a 3, they clean well, everything is quite new, the room is small, but for two it is quite normal, the location is very good, close to all locations, somewhere you can walk, somewhere you can order a taxi, taxis are inexpensive around the city. It is a 25-minute walk to the Waterfront. Standard breakfasts, but quite enough in the morning. The staff is good, friendly, we have never had any problems. The only thing that bothered us a little was the location of the night club, under the windows, pounding all night almost every day and until the morning, we had to close the window and turn on the air conditioner. Perhaps this is the only minus of this hotel, but there are rooms on the other side, we ended up not changing. A very good option in terms of price / quality!

An Exceptional Stay at the Taj Cape Town We recently stayed at the Taj Hotel in Cape Town and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Although our booking agency made an error with our initial room, the hotel staff handled the situation with incredible professionalism. The manager went above and beyond to make things right. From the second day onwards, we were upgraded to a beautiful luxury suite, our parking fees were waived, and we even received complimentary wine as a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The service throughout our stay was truly outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Breakfast was another highlight, with an impressive selection and excellent quality. We also dined at the Mezzanine restaurant one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to join walking tours and explore Cape Town’s vibrant surroundings. All in all, our experience was beyond expectations. We left feeling well taken care of and would highly recommend the Taj Cape Town to anyone visiting the city.

The rooms do feel just a bit small but the staff and the food make the stay sooooooo worth it!!!!!!!!!!!! The breakfast has to be the most amazing addition here, plenty options to choose from, affordable dinner buffet and great staff. Special shoutout to Yolanda, Lona, Bongi and Azeez! The sunrise, sunset, and night view are nothing to say. I want to live in a fairy tale. The service is very good! ! I don't know why some people say that the review is not good! ! I am a girl traveling alone, and I dare not go to the city center by myself. The hotel lobby manager specially walked with me to the station and took pictures for me along the way. We became very good friends. The whole hotel reveals the luxury of the old brand. From the entrance to the lobby to the port in the backyard, it is so beautiful. I think it is much better than the 1w one night next door, and the view of that house is blocked. The buffet breakfast is also superb! ! There is an oyster buffet... It is perfect for an oyster head like me. I like to eat a barbecue, but the degree of roasting is different the next day, and the kitchen specially roasted some again for me. There is a fine dinning downstairs. The chef/owner is a lady. There are many cultural interpretations in the dishes, which is very good. One dish was made to entertain Michelle Obama. I was surprised that feminism is also rising here. I stayed here for many days and this is one of my favorite hotels in my life.

The Westin, Cape Town, is an old hotel, but it continues to maintain its presence, quality, and some high standard in Cape Town. We stayed here for 8 days, during a friend's 60th birthday celebration event in Cape Town. We occupied an executive room and were also given access to the executive club on the 19th floor. The room was very nice, with good linen, bed of high standard. That said, we had to lodge a complaint on the hurried nature of how our room was cleaned on our second day of stay. The bed was not made properly, the carpet floor wasn't clean, and the bathroom was half cleaned. It's not good for a 5-star hotel. After complaining, the housekeeper made amends, and the cleaning standard was raised to the highest standard for the duration of our stay. We also ordered food from room service and half of what we ordered were not brought - they gave us something else, but after waiting for 45 mins for the original order to be brought to us we reluctabtly accepted the wrong order, ate the food and then lodged our complaints later. The breakfast buffet was alright, but there weren't great selections of cold meats in the cold meat section. They really need to improve on this. Lastly, the overall service delivery by some of the staff really need serious improvement. Some of the staff in the restaurant are way too loud when talking to each other, and some of them even give out bad unwelcoming and nonchalant attitude/vibe to their customers. It is like they feel that they're doing us, their clients, a favour by serving us. Not good enough for a hotel of this standard, abd some of those staff need to be retrained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Westin and we will definitely come back there when next we visit Cape Town.

Wonderful Hotel! We just had a 2-night stay at this lovely hotel. We stayed in a room with two double beds (2 * 140). Spacious and large bathroom with a shower. Fantastic mountain view. Very high-level service at this hotel 🤩 the most delicious breakfast 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 very helpful staff. The only downside is that it's a bit difficult to walk to town (not impossible), but a bit inconvenient. If I come to Cape Town again, I will definitely stay here again. My best recommendations, 5 stars from me.

To Ndumi, Luke, Colin, Libona, Jason, Ethan and all of the staff working there, you are doing an excellent job! As a solo female traveller, I truly appreciated how you looked out for me. The daily shuttle to and fro to V&A waterfront (every 2 hours) and to Camps Bay (twice a day) made moving around easy. The room was well-cleaned and maintained. Location-wise, it was a short Uber ride from any tourist hotspot in the city. I would highly recommend Pepperclub Hotel to anyone looking for a hotel that truly takes care of its guests.

The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome. In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.

While I wasn't a fan of the fixed showerhead in the bathroom, this hotel is otherwise highly recommended for anyone traveling to Cape Town. Protea is South Africa's national flower, and this hotel chain, named after it, boasts an elegant, castle-like exterior, as its second building was formerly a prison. Under the Southern Hemisphere's summer sun, it perfectly complements Signal Hill in the background. The central courtyard is lush and green. We stayed on the second floor of the second building, watching the professors and students from the business school below come and go. The third building houses the restaurant; a five-minute walk down the steps and a left turn brings you to the waterfront. During our stay, Ms. Gail at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She resolved an issue where our room didn't match the photos on the booking website and even arranged for someone to assist us with the complicated process of booking tickets for Table Mountain National Park. Throughout this, I witnessed the familial camaraderie among the hotel staff and their genuine, easy smiles.

The hotel itself is majestic. The entrance with the green leaves trickling off the arched awning is reminiscent to a scene in a movie. The room was elegant and had a classic homie feel. The hotel is located at the heart of the nightlife. Close to so many cool bars like The drinkery, House of Machine, and Art of Duplicity(amazing hidden jazz bar). The staff was welcoming and always smiled, but there was a moment on the second day as I walked up the beautifully carpeted stairway leading to my room where I got confronted about whether I was a guest or not. Besides that moment, everyone was nice.

Staying at Marly for three nights is expensive, mainly because it is in the heart of the camp's beach, surrounded by restaurants and bars. After crossing the road, it is a beach. The so-called mountainside suites are almost the same. Mountain, in many hotels in that area can basically be achieved. Good health, the refrigerator has a variety of free drinks in addition to wine, and capsule coffee, there is a special store for money exchange on the first floor, you need a passport, go to the hotel left about 30 meters is a very large supermarket, but no wine sold There is also a Thai restaurant nearby. The taste is really very general. There are double-decker citybus about 150 meters on the right. About 70 yuan can be exchanged for red lines and other lines of blue lines. Going out at night is still very convenient and safe.

This stay was absolutely magnificent from arrival to departure, upgraded as we arrived at the hotel. The staff, incredible! Always doing more than asked, going out of their way to assist in making plans, arranging transport or just providing extra information. Shout out to Claudia, who was patient and articulate. She stopped her work in order to attend to me at all times. Shout out to Dewald, humorous, witty and exquisitely piquant. Always up for a conversation amd willing to make anything amd everything more convenient for the guests. Rennia and Alice, ebullient and light-hearted, i felt the care and meticulous nature of their work through all they did, and the smiles they provided, thank you! The entire staff, quite warm and accommodating! Clean room, aesthetically modern and quaint. 100% recommended, convenient location for all your needs!

The location is convenient at Sea Point, the room is nice and newly renovated, the amenities are nice, and it's very clean. The breakfasts at the cafe on the ground floor are delicious; you have a deposit and can choose what you want from the menu. A special thank you to the staff and Evety for their help with communication and changing my stay dates due to a flight change.

I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant.

Krystal Beach Hotel boasts a unique architectural design seamlessly immersed into its surroundings. It’s like a Cruise Ship with bigger spaces. The rooms are well designed and maintained. The staff are professional. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The Hotel could do better with their breakfast buffet menu. Once you have your first breakfast, there is no motivation to go for breakfast on subsequent days because the food options aren’t spiced up on different days. Just the same menu and average at best.

The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome. In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.

We only stayed for one night and checked in late in the evening. The check in process was quite simple and fast, they also provided the bed for a baby upon request (we forgot to book it in advance). The breakfast was really nice, lots of options and great coffee!

Although our booking agency made an error with our initial room, the hotel staff handled the situation with incredible professionalism. The manager went above and beyond to make things right. From the second day onwards, we were upgraded to a beautiful luxury suite, our parking fees were waived, and we even received complimentary wine as a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The service throughout our stay was truly outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Breakfast was another highlight, with an impressive selection and excellent quality. We also dined at the Mezzanine restaurant one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
