The hotel was really lovely and there was lots of hotel staff on hand ready to help if needed. Which i did on 1 occasion when my key card wasnt working the lift and i got stuck, they called out an engineer that day. Nust make sure that both you key cards work the lift. Also in the rooms just be awear that there is a small step up to the bathroom to stop room flooding, this is a design feature but east to stub toe (needs to be a sticker with a waring sign about small step). Mini bar in rooms are well stocked.

The room was smaller than I expected. My two suitcases (one 26-inch and one 28-inch) barely fit and had to be squeezed together by the wall to open. The hotel's design is very minimalist and Nordic, but some of it prioritizes aesthetics over practicality (like the sink). However, there's a pegboard wall next to the bed, which adds some much-needed storage space. The bed is large, but I found the mattress a bit too soft and saggy. The location is great, very close to the station, and there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

This is purely a budget hotel, perfect for backpackers... Hotels in Scandinavia are generally quite expensive, and this one is similar to youth hostels in China – everything is self-service. The bathroom is so tiny, only one person can stand in it; you'll just have to bear with it for showering.

Very pleasant start at this hotel, it's ideally located near to Tivoli Gardens and the central railway station. If you are looking for breakfast, note that it must be pre ordered before 11pm the night before. This was the only unfortunate element of the stay, as we were not informed this was the case. Otherwise, pleasant trip and the rooms are perfectly fine for a few nights' stay.

Had a really pleasant stay at Ascot Hotel during our trip. The location was very convenient, making it easy for us to explore the city and access nearby transport, food, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. What we appreciated most was the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful facilities provided, which made us feel relaxed after a long day out. The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit. I booked a room and Pon arrival he assured me it was a very small room and he could offer at a discounted rate he invented to a magnificent fantastic room. Sounded good and it turned out to be a very standard double bed in a small room with no sofa, no chair, no nothing extra. Too late now to change back as we wanted to go to bed. I wonder what the other room was like they offered on homepage. Breakfast was charged 50 DDK extra if not reserved day before. No information on this, so just had to pay. Coming back to room late night, no cleaning had been done. I asked and they said it must be requested day before. Information was in the elevator about this. I checked and no information in elevator. Oh, then it is in the room. I checked, no information in the room. However, on the side of the wardrobe I finally found a QR code. If you scanned it, you would get all kinds of information about the hotel and rules. Who has heard of such expectations on any guest anywhere? requesting cleaning in an international hotel??? Reception siad they missed on informing. They said it is Scandic standard and I should know, as if I am expected to be Scandic frequent guest. Rubbish! They say it is for the environment. What environmental gain you get from not making a bed was not explained. I said I expected free breakfast for all issues. In the end, they charged me for that too. For clarity, I have traveled weekly as an international businessman for 30+ years to 123 countries. Never heard such ******** from a hotel reception.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the front desk service was impeccable. They were very friendly and assisted me with everything, especially Santiago and Jonas. The hotel has a great location and the area is quiet. The breakfast offered is good, and you can freely help yourself to water, coffee, or herbal teas. They offer luggage storage where you can leave your bags after checking out. I stayed in a single room; although small, it was sufficient for me. The bathroom had shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer, which was a nice touch. My main issue was that the room got a lot of sun and there was no air conditioning. Otherwise, everything was perfect. If I return and my budget allows, I'd definitely stay again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location & great value The hotel is overall very good. Service is decent and satisfactory, nothing outstanding but perfectly fine. Location is truly excellent! It’s very easy to get here from the airport: take the direct bus, only costs 30 DKK per person, and it’s just a 2-minute walk to the hotel after getting off. Great location, within a 5-minute walk to the central station. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The suite is on the top floor (5th floor), which is a nice touch. The room layout was a little unusual, with a narrow walkway and sloped ceilings due to the roof design. The shower area, including the alcove tub, felt somewhat awkward and may be less convenient for taller guests. There was also an RGB light above the shower, which was an interesting design choice (who uses red lighting for showering?) The building has some old-world charm, though the room's floor creaked noticeably when walking around. The small balcony was pleasant, but the view was fairly average. Overall, a good stay for the location, though some aspects of the room design could be improved.

The location is excellent and convenient for going anywhere. Although it is close to the downtown area, it is relatively quiet at night and there are no problems at all. The room is very small, like a Japanese business hotel, but it is not a problem for Japanese people. The breakfast had a small selection and not many vegetables, but the taste was not bad. The Danish pastries were especially delicious. Opinions may differ on whether it is good value for money, but considering the local prices, I felt that it was not bad at all.

I stayed here on a solo trip! The room was adorable with a sloped ceiling and a window that felt like an attic room, and I had such a wonderful time. I could see seagulls and the morning sun from the window, making it so cozy that I just wanted to relax at the hotel. The wooden floorboards were also lovely, and it felt like I had my own little room, allowing me to travel as if I were living there, which made me very happy. Above all, the reception staff were incredibly kind, and I really felt the warmth of Danish people. It's about a 10-minute walk from the central station, but it's in the opposite direction from Strøget and Nyhavn, so be aware that you'll have a bit of a walk to get to the tourist spots!

I was thinking that I could wash clothes during the journey, so I decided this service apartment. I personally don't recommend it, although it's not bad location. But if you take luggage, the stairs are very difficult to walk. The room was clean, but the kettle was dirty. All equipment was very simple. The lights in the hall were so low that each of us hit. Then there was no front desk, we booked with Trip.com, and we did not receive a confirmation email. When you arrive at the hotel, you have to call yourself to ask how to get in.

Because the passport was lost in the Netherlands, I did not stay at this hotel. . . Because the reservation is a non-cancellable room, so I have consulted the customer service of Ctrip with the attitude of trying it out. The customer service actively helps the communication. Because the time difference is still not answered when the phone is not available, I will send a text message to me at the first time. The hotel agreed to deduct the first night's room rate and the rest was refunded. It was really unexpected and happy! Saved me more than 10,000 yuan in losses! The hotel is very well located, right next to Tivoli, which is a big advantage. The room was comfortable, with a good bed and a pleasant atmosphere, although not very spacious and somewhat dated. The main downside was the service and housekeeping, which felt below the standard expected for a four-star hotel. Staff were correct but not particularly welcoming. Housekeeping is only provided upon request and is quite basic, which made the overall cleanliness feel limited. The bathroom was small but functional and nice, and the wooden floor in the room was a nice detail. The breakfast area was pleasant, although some facilities were under renovation during our stay. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Nyhavn, and surrounded by many supermarkets and restaurants. It's accessible from the airport by metro, and just a short walk from the metro station to the hotel. The room was very quiet, and while the curtains weren't fully blackout, it didn't affect my sleep. The lobby is beautiful, but the room facilities felt a bit plasticky, comparable to a domestic three-star standard at best. The room was quite small, barely enough space to open a suitcase. There was no complimentary water, and the Wi-Fi was prone to disconnecting with poor signal in the room. Luggage storage is available in lockers on the basement level for an additional fee (please refer to the picture for pricing). The self check-in and check-out process was very efficient, and the staff were helpful.

This is an older hotel, but all the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and corridors, are beautifully decorated. There's even a small garden next to the restaurant, which makes having breakfast there quite pleasant. The room itself is a bit small, and there's no kettle, but the lobby offers free hot water. It's clear they've made efforts to update and improve things to keep up with the times. The breakfast, however, was just okay – the simplest of all the hotel breakfasts I had on this trip, though the bread and cheese quality was decent. So, based on the common areas, it could easily be a 3-star, but the room itself is probably more like 2-star at best.

The hostel was easy to find, few minutes from the metro which was important to me. Every staffmember was really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming. The tent was small for 4 persons but I knew that I will mostly just sleep there, the bed was comfortable and clean. I read in other reviews that a curtain would be nice, I agree with that also. The bathroom was really big, plenty of showers and toilets, there was hot water every time which was also important to me. I had breakfast on a few days, which was also good and I really liked sitting in the outside tables, I also had a chance to connect with other travellers every day. On the last day I left my luggage in one of the lockers so I could explore the city freely, that was also a good bonus. They provided earplugs, which I used during my sleep, overall all ”campers” were respectful and quiet after 10 pm but still it was a lot of people in a small space. For solo travellers this is a good choice as the hotel prices are 4-5 times higher.

It's super convenient for getting to Copenhagen city center by metro or Copenhagen Airport by train, making it ideal for tourists. Breakfast was also more extensive than I expected, with croissants, bread, ham, salami, cheese, eggs, and vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers. There was a good variety, and it was a very decent hotel breakfast. The only thing I think could be improved is the soundproofing in the rooms; it's a bit weak. Sometimes I could hear noise from the hallway or other rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, with its convenient transportation, clean rooms, good breakfast, and decent value for money, it was a very satisfactory stay. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.
