The check-in process was smooth, and I was quickly escorted to my room, which had a stunning view of the sea. Waking up each morning to the sight of calm blue waters and lush green surroundings was incredibly peaceful and helped me disconnect from the stress of daily life. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean and created a breathtaking atmosphere, especially during sunset. I spent hours there just relaxing and enjoying the scenic beauty. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was delicious, offering both local Malaysian flavors and international cuisine. We had mixed feelings about this resort. The beach wasn’t bad, the rooms and hotel seems to be a little old and after our opinion is a bit overrated. You do not even get free daily water and charges 10 RM for filtered water. The pool had a lot of sharp corners / tiles. The breakfast wasn’t that good. Olè Cafe has much better food or across the road / in front of the hotel there were better options for breakfast. No activities was scheduled like water sports / beach volley etc. some (not all) of the staff wasn’t smiling and we felt like was not happy to serve us.

We booked 2 deluxe rooms and we were so suprised that the room was so spacious , very clean and the  we  could smell the freshness of the air as we entered the room. You can add another extra bed for it. And a bonus for us that it  also has a bath tub. Fast checking and check out process. All staffs are so friendly and helpful. Good & strategic location in Kuah Town.

Facilities: While not a brand-new hotel, it boasts its own nature reserve ambiance. All rooms are individual wooden bungalows, offering different mountain and ocean views! The rooms are spacious! The balcony is very comfortable! Hygiene: The cleaning was excellent and very thorough! Environment: As soon as you enter, it feels like a giant natural garden combining forest and ocean. You can spot dusky leaf monkeys and hornbills everywhere, truly a wonderful ecosystem! There's no need to go out to see any other attractions when you're here! The pool is also very comfortable, not crowded, and the drinks at the pool bar are delicious! Service: Excellent! I received a birthday surprise, a handwritten blessing, a birthday cake, and an upgrade to a sea-view wooden chalet. The hotel is truly thoughtful and generous. They wished me a happy birthday during check-in, and the room was decorated with a little surprise! It feels like the hotel genuinely cares about guests' special occasions, even though I hadn't requested any of these in advance! So, I was very touched!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed here with my family and overall we had a pleasant stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, spacious and full of greenery, giving a relaxing kampung-style tropical vibe. The beach is just a short walk away and the sunset view was amazing. The swimming pool was one of our kids' favourite spots. Staff were generally friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was comfortable and suitable for families. However, we experienced an issue during our stay where several family members developed itchy rashes/insect bites. We are not completely certain of the source, but it affected our overall experience and caused some concern, especially with young children. Despite that, the resort itself is beautiful, family-friendly and located in a great area near Pantai Cenang. Hopefully the resort can look into this matter to ensure future guests have a more comfortable stay.

I blindly chose this hotel and stayed for 5 consecutive days, ready to just relax. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The hotel is located by the sea and near the mountains, about a 30-minute drive from Cenang Beach, making it relatively quiet. If you need to go out, taking a taxi is very convenient. The hotel has several swimming pools, which are great for kids. My child didn't want to leave the pool once they got in, and you can order drinks right by the poolside, which is very handy. The breakfast variety changes a bit, and the eggs + pancakes pictured were delicious – the sauce was definitely the highlight. The staff were all quite friendly and greeted me warmly whenever we met.

This hotel was just a place to crash; we were out all day anyway, so we didn't expect much. The location is excellent, right in town. Across the street, there's a duty-free chocolate shop, and plenty of food options within a few blocks. It's also beachfront, so you can catch the sunrise. We booked a suite, which was spacious, but the facilities were quite outdated. The hot water was intermittent, and it seemed like there was no hot water at all late at night! I left my swim trunks in the room and called customer service to ask about them. I figured if they found them, I'd just take a taxi back from Berjaya to pick them up. The first time I called, a man answered and said he'd look for them. When I called again, a woman answered. I'm not sure if she didn't understand English or what, but she just mumbled and rambled for a while before abruptly hanging up on me. Since I was short on time, I just gave up and bought new ones. The breakfast was mediocre, with limited choices. Just enough to grab a bite. The gym is tiny and the equipment is old, but nobody supervises it, and hardly anyone uses it. You just swipe your card to enter, so it's practically 24 hours. It was sufficient for my workout needs. The infinity pool has a nice view, and my kids loved it. There were a lot of Indian people diving and having 'doggy paddle' races, making the pool quite chaotic, and nobody seemed to be managing it. The Indian 'doggy paddle' is hilarious; it's not the first time I've seen it, I've seen it countless times now! I even wonder if it's some kind of Indian national art form? The key thing is, this stroke is exhausting and inefficient, yet they all seem to enjoy it immensely 😂

We received a very warm and attentive welcome upon arriving at the hotel, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. After settling in, we headed to Hava Restaurant for dinner, where they serve Indian cuisine. The food was delicious, and the experience was made even more special by the beautiful sunset views while we dined. Although the food was a bit on the pricey side, it was well worth it for the overall experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful—they even remembered our kids’ names, which added a personal touch to our stay. The resort itself is well-equipped, offering complimentary buggy services and bicycle rentals, making it easy and fun to get around. The place is quite and spacious, it is truly an ideal destination for relaxation. We had such a wonderful time that we would love to come back again, especially with our parents next time.

The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

The room layout was very well designed and practical. They even had a capsule coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The pool and outdoor areas were beautiful. What I really appreciated was that getting to the beach and pool from the hotel wasn't as far a walk as it often is in China. The breakfast was plentiful, although my Chinese palate wasn't entirely used to some of the offerings. The beach was great for shell-collecting, with lots of shellfish. Overall, a really good experience! Just a heads-up, there's no Chinese-speaking staff, and it's mostly European guests.

The taste of the food also didn't quite suit our palate, such as the nasi lemak with overly sweet sambal and soup that lacked flavor and ingredients. We hope the hotel can improve the variety and quality of the food, especially for a high-standard hotel like Four Seasons. Additionally, the bath towels were rather coarse and uncomfortable to use. Overall, my stay was great. The pool was nice. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Great location many food places around, and they're open until late into the night. We also went to the waterpark next door for free. The hotel was clean. They also have really good deals for ATV tours, jet ski tours, and many other fun things to do around the island. I highly recommend this hotel to people. The windows in our room couldn't open so it wasn't the best because I like getting fresh air into my room in the morning. Because the windows couldn't open the room smelled a bit damp and stuffy. The Aircon also made a lot of noise (I struggle falling asleep if there's too much noise).

I recently stayed at Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and only around 5 minutes away from the popular Pantai Cenang area, making it convenient while still being away from the busy crowds. Check-in was smooth and fast, and there is plenty of parking available for guests. I would highly recommend renting a car when staying here as it makes exploring the island much easier. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. One thing that stood out was the bathroom, which was surprisingly large compared to most hotels. The hotel facilities are excellent too. There is a nice swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a kids' playroom on the third floor, making it suitable for both couples and families. Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a good variety of food, including both local Malaysian dishes and Western options, so there was something for everyone. On the ground floor, there is a Starbucks for coffee lovers, as well as the hotel's bar and lounge where guests can relax in the evening. A pool table is also available for those looking for some entertainment. Although the hotel is not directly on the beach, Pantai Tengah is only about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel even provides a complimentary buggy service to take guests there. Personally, I preferred Pantai Tengah over Pantai Cenang because it is much less crowded, quieter, and more relaxing. It is a great place to enjoy the beach, especially if you want to avoid the busy tourist crowds. Overall, Aloft Langkawi offers a great combination of comfort, modern facilities, good food, and a convenient location. It is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Langkawi, whether for a family holiday, a couple's getaway, or a relaxing staycation.

The resort was very beautiful and peaceful. I saw many kinds of guests staying there such as couples, families and groups. Usually at night it was very quiet and everyone seemed to be respectful of each other, which made the stay very pleasant. It was especially nice to sit in the yard in the evening. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The receptionist was also very sweet and welcoming. However, there was one issue in our room. The washing basin kept dripping and even after we reported it, it could not be fixed during our stay. Because of that, we had to use the bathroom sink to brush our teeth and wash our face. Other than that, everything else was good. You can also see airplanes flying across the resort which was quite interesting. Overall, it is a nice place for family gatherings and team bonding.

We had five nights at The Danna and had a relaxed and comfortable stay. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The resort is beautiful and is located in an amazing beach location. It caters for families and couples alike. There is a great range of restaurants, but prices are more expensive than local dining options. The Danna is quite isolated, but is on the main road to the cable car. Using local ride share such as Grab is super cheap and very available, however the resort caters for everything and you rarely need to leave unless you want to explore the local area.

The rooms are located on a private, secluded island, just a ten-minute boat ride from Langkawi's Cenang Jetty. There's an hourly boat service for transfers, and a dedicated meeting point at Cenang Jetty, which is very thoughtful. We booked a king-sized bed and paid an extra 110 per day, including breakfast, for a child's additional bed. We explored the island on our own and noticed some abandoned facilities that looked like they used to be part of another hotel. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel didn't offer a daily 8:30 AM guided trek for guests; you either walk by yourself or hire a guide for 120 MYR. If you walk alone, you're warned about an 800 MYR rescue fee if anything goes wrong. The name 'Trip.com' (携程) sounds enticing, but honestly, Langkawi's ecosystem is generally very good; I think Trip.com's descriptions might be a bit exaggerated. We followed old signposts to Red Rock Beach, where there's a cave, saw many pitcher plants and hornbills, and even met a French couple heading back. We had to turn back quickly ourselves, worried about the rising tide, as it was getting late. This beach, unfortunately, was quite littered, and even the private island didn't seem well-maintained. The hotel grounds are like a garden with many monkeys; apparently, you can feed them peanuts at specific times. Staff often chase them away. The hotel's coastline isn't very long, and the water is crystal clear in the morning. There are corals but hardly any fish, though we saw many sea cucumbers and hermit crabs. Food on the island is definitely pricier than in Langkawi and not particularly tasty, just passable. There's a convenience store on the jetty where we even had an instant pizza. Hiking on the island was quite interesting; it took us over two hours round trip.

My stay at frangipani was better than what I expected. The resorts location is ideal for island vacation, perfect blend of untouched beach and resorts ecosystem is extraordinary. The hotel located at a very strategic location. The room is huge and the toilet is also very spacious. Down part is only the AC is placed right on the bed and making it too cold. Requested for a birthday deco and they did it very well. Parking is based on first come first serve by the road side. Had bar and massage together with the hotel. Despite facing main road but it is not noisy at night. Thank you for such a good stay.

If you are looking for authentic old skool architecture then temple tree resort is deff the place to go. Its got modern amenities while being authentic with the structure. If you are allegic to feline dander or just arent the friendliest with cats, stay away as theres a few residents. One thing to consider is the akwardness of the toilet bowl positioning for penang house 1. I am on the larger side and this posed abit of an issue and required manuevering acts to say the least. Choose a different house but dont let this stop you. The breakfast had a good choice and lovely fresh baked pastries i appreciated!

Considering the price, this hotel doesn't offer great value for money. The environment and privacy are good, but it's far from the beach, making it inconvenient to get around. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach. With only 9 rooms, there's no entertainment other than staying in your room. The Wi-Fi is terrible and really needs improvement. Even with my own 5G, streaming videos in the hotel was incredibly laggy. I definitely wouldn't choose this hotel again when I return to Langkawi; it's a huge step down from the Four Seasons, despite only being slightly cheaper. It's simply not worth the price.

The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful; they even upgraded our room to one with sunbeds and a terrace for our honeymoon, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel is new and clean, and the breakfasts are decent, offering everything you'd expect for a European breakfast (omelets, cheeses, fruits, pastries – all good quality). The hotel also has an excellent spa that I highly recommend. They have a separate bungalow for massages with its own bathroom, shower, and terrace. The prices are reasonable, and the massage was superb (and I speak from experience). There are two fantastic, new tennis courts at the hotel. The location is fantastic! Right next to the yacht marina, making it super convenient for sunset cruises – you just head downstairs and then straight back to the hotel to relax. Downstairs, there are shops, Japanese restaurants, cafes, and Malaysian food options. The room is spacious; our family room had two large queen-sized beds, and the decor is simple. Toiletries and disposable slippers are provided. The service was also excellent; my requests for a power adapter and late check-out were both easily accommodated. There are two things to note: you need to turn on a switch near the bathroom entrance for hot water when showering. My parents didn't realize this and ended up with cold showers, which I only discovered later. The breakfast view is unbeatable, overlooking the yacht marina, but the food selection is very limited. When we went down at 9:30 AM, there were only two tables of guests, including us. I'm not sure if it's because it's the off-season, but the breakfast left me a little disappointed with the Ramada brand.

Excellent hotel near the beach with responsive staff! I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in February 2026. I had a Deluxe room with a garden view (more precisely, a view of the 'backyard' – a path to the beach). I didn't regret it – it could get very noisy and loud by the pool sometimes. The room was quite spacious with a large bathroom. Everything was meticulously clean before check-in. The mattress, bedding, and towels were good. Room cleaning, towel changes, and replenishment of water and tea sets were done by arrangement. The room had a refrigerator, a kettle, and a tea/coffee set that was regularly restocked. The shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion were nice and pleasant. Hot water was always available. There were few power outlets in the room, and the hotel didn't have adapters, so I had to buy my own. Every day, two 0.5-liter bottles of water were provided. The Wi-Fi was very weak and constantly disconnected, so I used mobile internet instead. The hotel grounds – the paths, lobby, and pool area – were very green, pleasant, and full of flowers, looking very appealing. The room had its own terrace with chairs and a table behind a green hedge – a nice spot to sit, read, and drink coffee (though there were many mosquitoes at night). The path from the hotel to the beach was almost entirely sand, so you could walk barefoot to the sea (but carefully). It passed through trees and bushes, where I saw various beautiful birds and monkeys during the day. Returning along this path after sunset wasn't very pleasant. However, right at the entrance to the hotel area, there was a tap for washing feet. There were security cameras around the perimeter of the hotel. I swam more often at the neighboring hotel, where a net marked the swimming area to protect against boats and jet skis. Overall, the beach was pleasant, with a sandy and comfortable entry into the water. Occasionally, jellyfish and other marine life would appear, but that's just luck of the draw. There were many cafes with various options around the hotel. I really enjoyed the breakfasts at the hotel – there was a good selection, and a new dish was offered every day. The fruits were excellent. Overall, the hotel left a very pleasant impression! I recommend it and would return here again.

The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

We had mixed feelings about this resort. The beach wasn’t bad, the rooms and hotel seems to be a little old and after our opinion is a bit overrated. My stay at frangipani was better than what I expected. The resorts location is ideal for island vacation, perfect blend of untouched beach and resorts ecosystem is extraordinary. The staff is very helpful, polite and attentive. I found my room was very clean plus house keeping was to the point. The swimming pools are maintained well. All in all I would say its a perfect place to stay for couples and families. I would come back here again.
