The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

I was able to stay in the wilderness and the service was great, but the drainage of the shower in the villa I stayed in was completely useless and the water overflowed from the shower room. Fortunately, there was another bathroom, so I tried to use it, but I don't think it will improve unless I redo the left-handed construction on the floor of the shower room. And when I was taking a shower in the middle of the night, the water supply suddenly stopped coming out, so I spilled it with mineral water. If I hadn't improved by the morning, I was going to tell the front desk, and I was going to leave in the morning.

The room facilities are too old, at least ten years old! Trip.com The webpage is marked as newly renovated in 2025! The sheets are old and faded and there are red stains. The shower hose is broken and there is no water pressure in the bath. The basin cabinet hardware is damaged and cannot be stored. The faucet splashes everywhere. The bathroom mirror headlights will flash when the contact is poor, and the air conditioner in the room drips at night and it is inexplicable noise...

Booked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. It was absolutely amazing experience. We came from Japan & came to highland area to escape the city busyness. We are astonished about this hidden gem. As we came in we were welcomed with fantastic passion fruit juice. We came after dark & only requested simple white rice & fried vegetable but the chef and her staff made an amazing dinner with simple vegetable & rice. I realized how food prepared with heart can heal our soul. I was kept thinking if people in the world could eat this kind of food with real soul in it, could heal the whole world!! It is so amazing to be surrounded by beautiful trees &sounds of animals. I will definitely come back again. O

This hotel exceeded my expectations; the price-performance ratio is amazing. Currently, the hotel only has 10 rooms, as the new area is still under construction and will be fully completed in 2027. The road to the hotel isn't easy to walk, but we even saw wild peacocks along the way. The hotel has a small garden with various fruits and vegetables, a small cabin, and a small jungle trail where you can shoot arrows. We casually strolled around and met some staff who gave us a tour, explaining the different fruits and vegetables – it was really interesting! They even offered to take us birdwatching the next morning, although there weren't many birds, haha, but the morning air was truly refreshing. At night, there were sounds from the rooftop, like some kind of animal running by, along with various bird calls – very natural. Breakfast is a set menu; we ordered the American and Continental options, and there wasn't much difference. The taste was just okay. Overall, a very satisfying stay, I would recommend it to friends, and if I have the chance to visit Sri Lanka again, I would definitely stay here.

這家酒店首先位置非常偏，周邊沒有任何東西，出行不方便，其次酒店的環境設計看得出花費了功夫，但是沒有得到很好的保養，我們在一天內一共被換了四個房間，第一個入住不到 10 分鐘説水管有問題，等了很久才帶我們換了一個跟我們定的不一樣的房型，入住之後發現還是沒有水，換的第三個房間，晚上不停地有大的蟲子掉在床上和身上，很嚇人。最後一個房間是晚上 10 點多才得洗換好的，總算能夠睡個覺，但是第二天一早發現固定的吹風機又是壞的！交給他們洗的衣服説了不用熨燙衹要洗，結果結賬的時候還是算了熨燙的費用！還好我老公之前有用文字 what's up 發給他們我們的要求，這才把多計算的免去。耽誤了我們足足大半天的行程計劃！

I used it on an anniversary trip. I was very impressed with the surprise celebration at the last night's dinner. All the staff responded with a pleasant smile, and I was able to spend a very comfortable ３ day with a peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. Of course, Ayurveda was also the best. The departure time was early on the last day, but he adjusted the time accordingly and was treated. It was a hotel that I would like to stay longer.

It was good time we spent at the hotel, beautiful big room with view on the pool. The owner is very kind and helped us, he drove and dropped off us at the bus station when we left the hotel. At the hotel there are bicycles which possible to use for the guests and we had a good trip to Dambulla Golden Temple on them. The hotel is near bus station and big fruit market. All was perfect!

The temperature of the shower was not wet and good Wifi was stable without being cut off immediately There's a dryer, a towel, and tea. The welcome drink was delicious ・ kind Close to the bus stop, easy to go to Seigiliya Pizza Hut is close, so you can get dinner here at the worst I can spend a leisurely time because there was no noise It's not facing the pass road and it's a little backwards. There is no clear ”reception” place, so if you have a question, it feels like asking the house on the premises? The mosquitoes come in, so they never leave the door open.

We stayed at the Eden Grand Hotel for two days and absolutely loved it. Although it can be a little tricky to find, the hotel is beautifully located at the edge of the forest, where monkeys leap from tree to tree. The rooms are cozy and well-designed, with a spacious, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and an AC. The service was exceptional. Breakfast is freshly prepared just for you, and the food was fantastic. The hotel also offers its own tuktuk driver, making it easy to visit nearby attractions like Sigiriya Rock. All in all, the Eden Grand Hotel is a charming and peaceful retreat and the Service will try its best to make your stay memorable.

The hotel is very famous in Sri Lanka, and the room facilities are very good. The environment is a bit poor, because when driving to the hotel by yourself, Google Maps navigates to the hotel through a long and narrow dirt road, not the asphalt Jetwing Road. If the hotel corrects the information to Google Maps, it may be helpful for self-driving guests.

This hotel exceeded my expectations; the price-performance ratio is amazing. Currently, the hotel only has 10 rooms, as the new area is still under construction and will be fully completed in 2027. The road to the hotel isn't easy to walk, but we even saw wild peacocks along the way. The hotel has a small garden with various fruits and vegetables, a small cabin, and a small jungle trail where you can shoot arrows. We casually strolled around and met some staff who gave us a tour, explaining the different fruits and vegetables – it was really interesting! They even offered to take us birdwatching the next morning, although there weren't many birds, haha, but the morning air was truly refreshing. At night, there were sounds from the rooftop, like some kind of animal running by, along with various bird calls – very natural. Breakfast is a set menu; we ordered the American and Continental options, and there wasn't much difference. The taste was just okay. Overall, a very satisfying stay, I would recommend it to friends, and if I have the chance to visit Sri Lanka again, I would definitely stay here.

Bawa's design speaks for itself. However, the service during peak season was an absolute disaster. 1. Check-in was very brief with no introduction to the hotel's activities. 2. Vanishing Front Desk: On day 1, my requests for water and cleaning during the day were ignored. At night, I called 10 times with no answer. Eventually, someone picked up after I pressed the emergency button twice. The next day, my request for slippers was also ignored. There were no bathrobes in the room. 3. At 12 PM, I received a call reminding me to check out and offering assistance with luggage transport. After I confirmed, I waited in my room for 15 minutes to no avail and ended up having to drag my own luggage. For a renowned luxury hotel, the service was truly disastrous.

We chose this hotel based on the location! We arrived, looked and booked 3 rooms. Moreover, it was cheaper to book through the website than at the hotel. When they showed us the rooms, a very sharp, specific smell hit our noses, I asked what it was, they told me that these were their air fresheners and they could be washed off. I said that I could not live with such a smell and needed to be removed, they said ok and we went to check in. Then I threw my things and went swimming and eating. In the evening, I returned to the room, the smell was there and then it dawned on me that it was a cockroach repellent!!!!!! The victims were already lying all over the room, and very large ones. At the reception, they silently moved me, without even apologizing. This moment, of course, spoiled the impression. After all, I immediately said that the smell was very sharp. The bathroom is very interestingly made, it is as if outside, in the shower there is a net and an outside nook. Leaving the cool room there is a strong contrast, but this does not spoil the rest. I liked the design of the disposable sets, they looked very stylish. In the evenings, musicians played in the restaurant (the first day there were mantras to the music, on the second day a guy sang very chicly. In the restaurant you can eat from the menu or dinner/lunch buffet. We tried both options, everything is very good. Very attentive staff in the cafe, the administrator saw us and ran to prepare a table for us. They also served by the pool. The territory is not large, but it is conducive to relaxation. Monkeys even came running. Friends went to the spa, they said the massage was good. From the hotel we went to Sigiriya (20 minutes by car) and on a safari in the park.

The shower hose is broken and there is no water pressure in the bath. The basin cabinet hardware is damaged and cannot be stored. The faucet splashes everywhere. The bathroom mirror headlights will flash when the contact is poor, and the air conditioner in the room drips at night and it is inexplicable noise...

The price is cheap, the hotel is a few hundred meters away from the bus station, the basic conditions of accommodation can be met, some old but very clean. The car chartered at the hotel went to Anuradpur, and the off-road vehicle was quite funny. His chartered car is really expensive and feels like being stepped on. Hotel accommodation is satisfactory.
