I didn't eat here, so I can't comment on the food. It's a centrally located hotel that offers good value for its price. The staff were well-meaning and helpful. They gave us coupons for their affiliated beach, but we weren't allowed to bring snacks from our bag into the beach. It would have been better if we had known this beforehand.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of MIA, the National Exhibition Center, Mina District, and the metro station. The breakfast is truly fantastic; a good, hearty meal will keep you going until dinner, saving you time for sightseeing. The bed is very comfortable, and there's ample desk space in the room. As for the downsides: the carpets and upholstered sofa chairs looked dirty and old. The room was cold, and coffee and sugar packets weren't replenished promptly enough.

Overall, the hotel does not worth this price. The lobby and building are ok. If you travel alone, that room can be a little bit uncomfortable in vibe. Staff were nice. Cleanliness: the room was clean. However, it smelled like old building, can emit their own odors over time. The scents in toilet is so bad, like sewage when I turned off ventilation during night time. Location: it is closed to Souq Waqif with around 18 mins walk. The area was quiet and safe. It can take sometimes to the airport, so I took Uber to go there. Service: people were friendly and even upgrade the big room for my family. They’re trying to make it easy for you. Amenities: the room and building were too old. Lighting is doomed. It’s bathtub, toilet were worn out and there’s defects. The hairdryer was historical and noisy. There was a lock door inside the master bedroom which is a bit creepy.

Bad points were that there was a nasty drain smell in the bathroom, also coffee/tea not refreshed. In fact, housekeeping took some coffee sachets away! Toiletries not refreshed either after initial allocation. It was handy that you could get a beer in the bar, but that's if you could tolerate the drunk locals. I popped in to get a beer for 3 nights and it was the same every night. The bar staff were lovely but getting abused by the drunks. On my last time in the bar, a Sudenese man made me very uncomfortable (I'm not a shrinking violet). The reception staff varied, one of them downright lied to me saying the Metro would not be running till 6am (it opens at 5 am). He said I would have to get a taxi for early flight for 50 riyal. Con artist. I also asked him for an alarm call which never happened. I got the Metro to airport just fine. The location isn't bad as you're next to a main Metro station, but I would recommend staying in the Souk Waqif and getting a hotel near the Metro stations there. I say stations because they have different access points which come out at different spots so use Google Street view to check. Didn't use pool or have breakfast so can't comment. Overall, I would stay somewhere else!

I was advised to book Kempinski based on my friends recommendation due to location and amenities with this hotel. Service was 10/10, exceptional from the minute we walked in right up until the end. There were a few blips but it can be overlooked with how much care the staff had. The security guards behind public house restaurant on the beach were lovely cheerful guys who are a credit to Kempinski. The duty manager helped, also the reception staff helped throughout our stay. I have recommended my family and friends to come to Kempinski based off my experience. I will be coming back again!

After arriving at Hamad International Airport and clearing immigration, she realised the wallet was missing She immediately contacted me in Australia and informed me of the situation. In a moment of urgency, I called the hotel directly and explained the circumstances. My request was handled swiftly and professionally, and the wallet was promptly located in the room where my wife had stayed I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Reception Manager Mr Omar, who was exceptionally professional, polite and proactive. He ensured the wallet was secured and personally arranged for it to be delivered to Hamad International Airport through his staff In today’s world, where trust can often feel diminished, Mr Omar demonstrated genuine integrity and went above and beyond in this situation. This hotel is fantastic, highly recommend it! 1. There's a security check at the entrance. We asked why, and it turns out it's a government-owned hotel, so they ensure 100% security. 2. It's just a one-minute walk to the metro station, right across a small street from the hotel. 3. Parking is free. If you're driving, you just hand your keys to the attendant at the entrance, and when you leave, you exchange a card for your keys, and they'll bring your car to the front. 4. There's free coffee in the lobby. Trying a date with coffee is highly recommended; it’s a very authentic Arabian experience. 5. It's only about 300 meters from Souq Waqif, making it incredibly convenient for dining and exploring. 6. It's also very close to the airport, about 20 minutes by metro with just one transfer. 7. Security is top-notch. We tested it, and if you lock the door from the inside, even a room key won't open it from the outside. The front desk staff were very friendly. When we were taking photos before leaving, they even offered to help us take a family picture. Although it might be a bit more expensive than chain hotels like Hampton by Hilton, after comparing everything, it feels incredibly worth it!

I like it very much, it's perfect for vacation. It's just a little regretful that I went there alone. I was reading in the yard, and suddenly I looked up and saw a big cruise ship. It was the first time I lived on an island in my life. Perfect experience. The service was also great. WeChat reminded me that the [direct light] at the head of the bed has no on/off button. It is pressed. Just press its [light] with your thumb, and the light will go out.

We had a great experience at the W Doha. At check-in we received an upgrade room and had the pleasure of staying in a W Suite room. The room was impressive and large with separate bedroom and living room areas. We booked this room mostly to relax and stay in and it worked perfectly for us. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming throughout our stay and we would recommend this if you're looking for a special stay in Doha's West Bay area. The staff checked in on us in person and over the phone during our stay to see if we needed anything for our room. The living room was nicely appointed with a large couch, dining table, hanging chair, desk, coffee/tea station with a Nespresso machine, large TV, Bose surround sound system, a small Bose smart speaker, and a few comfy chairs throughout. There was a bathroom in the main area near the entrance. The floor to ceiling windows in the corner suite offered views of the surrounding towers. The bedroom was awesome with a large comfy bed, plenty of storage and closet space, a large TV and an amazing bathroom. The bathroom had a large bath tub and some premium bath products including lotion and facial cleanser. The highlight here is the shower which had side jets, a large overhead shower and a wand that could all be turned on simultaneously. The melon extract products from Momo and the Nuze hand soap smell very nice. The facilities at the hotel are nice and there is a good pool area with comfy lounge chairs and a well equipped gym. There are changing areas near the pool area but we did not see locker rooms. The location is good with many good hotels and a big shopping mall nearby. There are lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes in this area and it is ok to walk around in the cooler months. It is a short walk to the beach from here. On site they have many good restaurants and the breakfast at Market was excellent but we would recommend trying Coya or Spice Market as well. The business lunch meals are very good here. The DECC metro station is a 15 minute walk away from here but we would recommend using Uber or Karwa to get around Doha if you want to do sightseeing. This is the kind of hotel my wife and I would not leave during our stay. All the amenities and restaurants on site mean you don't have to go far and you can order in everything else. We would consider staying here again and would recommend it for family and friends when visiting.

Great value for its location, great customer service staff from doorman, bellboy, front desk, and especially the restaurant servers, fantastic breakfast spread, most comfortable bed. Disappointed in amenities provided (no vanity kit, towels were old and worn), shower water pressure was low and not heating up properly, shower tiles looked aged and door wouldn't close properly causing wster spillage into the toilet floor. Overall I would still stay here if I revisit as the price offsets the negatives somewhat, whilst its location and staff really made my stay very enjoyable.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were well maintained, and the service from the staff was warm and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and the dining area was generally well organized. However, there was one unfortunate incident during breakfast where a used tissue was found laid out with the cleaned cutleries on the table. While this appeared to be an isolated oversight, it did slightly detract from an otherwise excellent experience. That said, we believe this does not reflect the hotel’s usual standards, as everything else during our stay was handled very well. We would still recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future, hoping to see even greater attention to detail.

This is a really good hotel, and I'd gladly stay here again. The room itself was well-furnished and laid out, with a small table perfect for eating and another that could be used as a workspace. We were surprised to find Russian TV channels, like TNT, and even Premier League football. After long days out exploring, it was wonderful to come back to the room and catch a match. The pool being open until 10 PM was a huge plus. It's a great pool, with a 1.8m deep section and water at a pleasant temperature – not cold at all. It's large enough for a good swim. Towels are provided, and there's a changing room. We enjoyed the breakfasts; we were never hungry. They had fruits like watermelon, melon, and pineapple. One day the coffee machine wasn't working, and the coffee from the thermopot wasn't great, but everything was fine the next day. The staff were responsive, and the beds were comfortable. Now, about the location. It might seem a bit far from the city center, but getting there is actually very easy, especially by public transport. Looking at the map, Al Mansoura Metro Station appears closer, about a 20-minute walk. However, it's much more convenient to use Umm Ghawalina Metro Station, which is on the Red Line. This is because there are free Metrolink buses that run from the metro stations to different neighborhoods. You just tap your metro card when you board, nothing is deducted, and it takes you to the metro. There's a stop for bus 118 right by the hotel, which goes directly to Umm Ghawalina. You can do the same on the way back. These buses run from early morning until around 1 AM, definitely as long as the metro is operating. It's incredibly convenient! On our departure day, we had a 10 AM flight, and we managed to have breakfast (which starts at 6 AM) and get to the airport using bus 118 and the metro. It was brilliant! Overall, I have only positive impressions of the hotel. Oh, and there's a 200 Dirham deposit. When checking out, allow a little extra time beyond just dropping off your key and saying 'checkout'.

Beautiful location near Old Doha Port. Delicious dinner and breakfast services. We received a lovely welcome message for the children with cookies to decorate. Beach view rooms were stunning. However, deluxe twin room had two small single beds, not really enough for family of three. Mr Rafiq was particularly attentive to our needs and asked after our preferences throughout our stay. Mr Ahmed was extremely helpful and kind towards the children during dinner and breakfast service. All the hotel staff were very welcoming. The Spa has a ladies only area, but staff did not really explain what facilities and services were available. The ladies changing room was not really well stocked with amenities, although staff kindly provided any items asked for. Lovely family hotel overall. Worth a visit at least once if staying in Old Doha Port. Watch out for busy traffic in this neighbourhood and not many grocery shops nearby.

Good location, excellent staff and good breakfast. Pool area was clean, but there is relatively limited poolside sunbed availability on the busier days. Gym was OK with a good view out over the corniche, but some of the machines were not in a great condition. First room allocated was not what I had booked (downgrade) and when I challenged it, I was moved in to the appropriate room type. However, this should not have happened in the first place and it felt like reception were simply 'trying it on'. Nevertheless, a pleasant stay in the end.

High standards and a great atmosphere, but without arrogance. The staff is simply the best. I forgot my glasses in a restaurant in another area, I just told the concierge service and an hour later the glasses were already on me. We were sitting outside with my family and wanted to drink cocktails here and not at the bar, the manager organized everything, although everything was not so smooth there due to the ban on alcohol. They upgraded the room category to sea view. Everything is free. This is truly 5-star service. Before that we lived in Fairmont and everything was not like this.

Upon checkout, she accidentally left her wallet in the room. After arriving at Hamad International Airport and clearing immigration, she realised the wallet was missing She immediately contacted me in Australia and informed me of the situation. In a moment of urgency, I called the hotel directly and explained the circumstances. My request was handled swiftly and professionally, and the wallet was promptly located in the room where my wife had stayed I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Reception Manager Mr Omar, who was exceptionally professional, polite and proactive. He ensured the wallet was secured and personally arranged for it to be delivered to Hamad International Airport through his staff In today’s world, where trust can often feel diminished, Mr Omar demonstrated genuine integrity and went above and beyond in this situation. Great hotel and easy access to metro and some of the downtown attractions. Room was silent and perfect for sleep with a truly huge shower, and the rooftop pool and gym were nice amenities to have. I arrived very early and they offered me to go into the room for an extra charge… it wasn’t a lot of money and I guess they need to make up for the lack of tourists at the moment but most sizeable hotels let you in early early if the room is ready. It’s not a deal breaker as everything else was good enough to recommend the place, depending on which attractions or part of town you want to be in.

It’s not a deal breaker as everything else was good enough to recommend the place, depending on which attractions or part of town you want to be in.

I had a very pleasant stay at Palm Inn Hotel Doha. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall service exceeded my expectations.
