The hotel breakfast was delicious and very generous, and the bedding was also very comfortable. I stay here every time I come to Dongguan for a business trip. There's Fengshan Park nearby, perfect for a run or a 1.7km leisurely walk. This time, Shuangshuang upgraded my room, and I received complimentary fruits and milk, which were a perfect snack after arriving in the evening. The bathtub was equipped with a disposable liner, allowing me to take a relaxing bath and melt away the fatigue.

The hotel's location is great, close to the business district, and it's well-renovated with a good price. You can tell it's recently refurbished as soon as you enter; it's very clean, and the hygiene standards are met. However, some room equipment is a bit old; it seems only the surface was renovated, not the internal wiring and devices. There are no power outlets by the bed, so I had to charge my phone under the desk. Also, the air conditioning isn't very effective, and the controls are surprisingly old-fashioned rotary knobs from twenty years ago, with yellowed plastic. I've stayed at the Huilihua next door, and they have digital control panels. It's really rare to see an AC unit with traditional rotary switches these days. That said, the hygiene is genuinely good, and the restaurants downstairs are decent, so overall, it was a good experience. Welcome fruit: It was mentioned, but I couldn't find it and forgot about it by the time I left.

We booked a large parent-child suite. The website booking picture shows that the parent-child room is cartoon sheets, there is a slide, and a Trojan horse. However, the hotel gave us an ordinary large suite. The customer service said that there is only one large suite in the family hotel with cartoon sheets, slides and Trojan horses. This has been given to another family. However, when I booked, then the website should not show that there are still this type of large suites, because I stayed with the children so I specially booked this type of room, and this type of room is not cheap in the area at all! To $4xx, the hotel gave me a room with the wrong product, it was really helpless! In addition, the hotel's Wi-Fi is really slow, for a while, for a while, it can't be used at all, and the shower water is very small...

Seriously, I've found the ultimate hotel for family vacations, and it deserves a five-star recommendation! I especially want to rave about the poolside room. The room design is perfect for water lovers; you can step right into the pool from your balcony, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the water without even leaving your room. There's also a private water slide connecting to the hot spring area downstairs, plus a super fun foam pool. My kids spent half the day there, so we didn't even need to plan any extra activities. The breakfast selection was much more extensive than expected, with freshly cooked noodles, baked bread, hot porridge and dishes, fresh fruits and vegetables, fries, and Chinese donuts. Both Chinese and Western options were covered, so everyone, adults and kids alike, could find something they loved. The facilities are new, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The family-friendly amenities are especially thoughtful. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I bring my family!

The service was truly excellent. Since we had a child with us, they went out of their way to accommodate us by pushing the beds together. We also received a fruit platter, and a butler was available for communication at all times. Getting around was very convenient. The front desk staff were always smiling, making you feel genuinely welcomed. It definitely competes with other international hotel brands. I'll stay here again next time, and I hope the hotel continues to maintain this high level of service.

The environment is quiet and serene, with a subtle Chinese garden style. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped (it would be even better if they provided two pairs of slippers for showering). Kids enjoyed playing in the water, while adults worked out and hiked. The service was a bit lacking, though. The service robot was slow to respond, and we had to chase down staff multiple times for assistance, likely due to understaffing. During the May Day holiday, check-in was really slow; we didn't get our room key until after 6:30 PM. Thankfully, the manager was flexible and arranged for the kids to go swimming first, and even gave us some drink vouchers (for a Coke, Sprite, or instant coffee) for those who weren't swimming.

The room itself was great, very spacious, and the front desk upgraded us to a lake view room. It had a balcony overlooking the lake, and the bathroom had two sinks, which was very convenient. A free crib was provided for our child. However, the dinner buffet service was, in my opinion, the absolute worst. It was a complete mess, very poorly organized, and significantly detracted from our overall stay. First, when we entered, the two customer service staff members assigning tables were completely disorganized. The restaurant tables weren't pre-assigned; they were making seat allocations on the fly. Before letting us in, the two staff members had to confirm with each other that our table wasn't reserved. After sitting for about 15 minutes, I stepped out to get something. When my family returned to our table, they were asked to move by a staff member who appeared to be a male manager (he wasn't wearing a suit, just a long-sleeved shirt). When I got back to the table, I heard this male staff member telling the front desk staff that a customer was scolding him. Little did I know, he was talking about our table. My family was very confused when I returned, as they were suddenly told to move, and those other guests were standing right by our table, watching us being forced out. Firstly, this felt incredibly bad. If the restaurant is seating guests, shouldn't they first check if someone is already sitting at that table? We had been at that table for over 15 minutes, and my family had already started eating. What does it mean for staff to bring guests and have them stand by our table? It made us feel as if we had taken their spot without permission, as if it was our fault. This experience was terrible. I never expected this kind of treatment at a five-star hotel. I thought I was in a 'cha chaan teng' (a Hong Kong-style diner) or McDonald's, with people waiting for tables. Secondly, this was a mistake by the management team, so why should we bear the consequences? I asked the male staff member why we had to move, and he said it was the front desk staff's fault and that he had already reprimanded them. I said the arrangement was terrible, and he mentioned that the other customers had booked previously. Well, we also booked our room and dinner package! If it was a team error, they should have handled it themselves and arranged for the other customers' reservation. Why were we forced to accommodate? Why couldn't they just seat the unseated customers at another table? There were five of us, including a one-year-old baby and seniors. Didn't they consider the inconvenience moving tables would cause us? I felt a significant double standard here. Thirdly, when we moved tables, only that manager-like male staff member helped us. Not a single other staff member came to assist. My mom was holding the baby and still had to carry her own bag to the new table. Only one staff member helped carry two plates. My sister had to carry her own plates with both hands. Since there were many dishes on the table, we had to move them ourselves. Midway, a male staff member in a short-sleeved shirt walked towards our table. I thought he was coming to help us move, but to my surprise, he was actually there to clean the table. Seeing that we hadn't finished moving, he turned and walked away. After a while, the original male staff member who asked us to move saw that we hadn't finished and finally came to help us move the remaining dishes. Honestly, the team cooperation in this restaurant felt very poor. I have never seen such terrible service in a five-star hotel. Finally, I want to point out that from the moment we were asked to move until we finished moving, no one came to apologize to us. The blame was on the incorrect table assignment. To be honest, we paid to go on vacation, booked a hotel room, breakfast, and dinner, and our family wanted to relax and enjoy ourselves. Little did we know, this one dinner ruined the entire stay. It was my first time being forced to move from a table at a five-star hotel with other guests standing around, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.🤣 Absolutely a bad review. Even days after checking out, I still can't forget this terrible experience, so I had to write a review!

She didn't mention the complimentary double afternoon tea, and I had to call and ask about it myself. In contrast, the bellhop who helped with our luggage was much more professional, guiding us to the breakfast area and the swimming pool along the way. The complimentary afternoon tea was fantastic! This is my second time staying here, and the hotel overall is still very good. The unique environment is indeed fantastic, and the rooms are very comfortable. The dessert soup in the evening was delicious, and there was plenty of bottled water. It's really a great place for seniors and kids to stay. However, there are two small details I think could be improved. On the day we checked in, around 4 PM, we parked our car by the lobby entrance and were bringing our luggage into the lobby. The doorman on duty saw us but pretended not to, probably to avoid helping us with our bags. Honestly, even if they didn't help, a simple 'welcome' would have been fine; there was no need to deliberately ignore us. My second point is that the breakfast service is understaffed. At the front, there was only someone swiping cards, but no one to seat us or offer water. Also, it would be better if the food replenishment were more timely.

Very happy with stay except for the breakfast festure. Booked with breakfast inclusive and found it is misleading. Thought it is as usual buffet type but insteaf was offered ¥30 vouchers to spend at tim sum restauramt and need to top balance amount exceeding ¥30. Would have just booked room without bteakfast and save some money as we booked 4 rooms for two nights. So be aware of this .

This was my first time staying at Mousse, and before checking in, I'd read reviews on several platforms, including negative ones. I even called the front desk beforehand to inquire about the issues mentioned in those bad reviews. After receiving patient replies, I still felt confident in choosing Mousse. On the 25th, around 2 PM, Manager Dou showed me to my room. Her service attitude was surprisingly excellent, completely different from what the negative reviews suggested. Service attitude and quality are very important to me. She was patient, kind, and flexible. Manager Dou elaborately responded to everything we discussed. For example, when I mentioned needing good lighting, she said I could call the front desk if I needed more lights. I was also given a free upgrade to a suite, which was very nice. I saw other room types too, and they all looked great, offering excellent value for money. The photos below are my actual shots, though I'm not sure why I couldn't upload live photos, and they turned out a bit blurry. To show my appreciation for the hotel's service, this is my first time writing an honest, positive review and taking pictures for it. The hotel was very quiet at night, and every time I ordered takeout, the robot delivered it quickly, which was super convenient 👍. I will definitely choose Mousse again when I come back to Dongguan.

Everything is good. Family room was clean and nice. Swimming pool and hot springs are excellent and were very clean. The whole layout and area is lush green and pleasant to look at. We only faced some food related issues because we were expecting a decent continental spread for the breakfast and those options or options of food for vegetarians are less in general. If the management can also have the names of food items written in both English and Mandarin, foreigners like us would be greatly benefitted because we didn't know what ingredients are in the food due to our dietary preferences. Those would be my only suggestions. I must also add that when we shared our food restrictions, the Chef came out and discussed with us and helped us by cooking the food which wasn't on the menu... so thats what I would call hospitality. A big cheers to him for that.

The hotel provides a wide range of amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which kept the room clean and fresh throughout my visit. The room itself was quite spacious, even though I booked one of the more budget-friendly options, which was a pleasant surprise. One area that could be improved is the lighting control in the room. There is no central switch to dim or turn off the lights, so I had to walk around the room to switch off different lights before going to sleep. Additionally, the bathroom layout separates the toilet from the shower area, requiring a few steps to move between them. The hotel provides clothes washing services but it’s chargeable and the price is on high side. One piece of normal ladies pant cost RMB50, male pant cost RMB45. If you give the clothes the housekeeping staff before 11am, they will send the clothes back to your room within the same day. Pullman Hotel also offers several in-house dining options, including Chinese and Japanese-style restaurants within the premises, which made dining very convenient. If you order food delivery , they have the robot machine to send your food to the room, just make sure you indicated the room number clearly. The lift required a room card to access hence the dispatcher will not be able to send the food to your room. Hotel staff is helpful, I requested them to collect the parcel on my behalf from the locker located at basement and they acting it very fast. Keeping them for me even though the check in date was a week later. Overall, it was still a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Pullma.

Although it's a non-smoking room, it seems guests had smoked there, as the AC unit emitted a smoky smell. There's also a KTV club downstairs, and the sound insulation isn't great.

(Make a left when you walk out of the hotel, keep walking until you see a bank and turn left. It has a blue sign). Much cheaper compared to the hotel. There's a nail salon, spa place, and massage within 5 minutes of walking (also walk left when you come out of the hotel, make a left again) Cleanliness: We encountered no cleanliness issues during our stay. Service: The front desk staff was notably friendly and helpful. Facilities: The hotel boasts an array of facilities including a swimming pool, gym, outdoor garden, Japanese restaurant, Chinese restaurant, buffet area, and spa. While there have been recent changes such as a rotation of dim sum and buffet options, and a downsizing of the buffet, our overall experience was quite satisfactory. This hotel has been our go-to choice whenever we return to Shijie.

After getting out of the car, a staff member proactively asked if I needed help with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was also very fast. I often come here for holidays, and every stay has been great. However, I have to mention something this time. The air conditioning in the room was broken and wasn't cooling. The engineering team responded quickly and fixed it soon, so I finally felt the cold air in the room on such a hot day. But, it stopped cooling again shortly after. Then there's the buffet restaurant. The first day was good, but the second day was a very bad experience. I asked the service staff multiple times to clear the dishes from the previous guests. The first time, a female server came but only took a few plates from the table. She didn't wipe the table or set new cutlery and then disappeared. I asked again, and even though they clearly saw me, they pretended not to, looking away immediately after making eye contact. This happened many times afterwards. Two or three servers were gathered in the cutlery area, seemingly emptying leftover food into the trash. The question is, does this really require so many people at once? Later, my child directly went to ask a server to help clear the table. The server dismissively told my child to 'wait a moment,' without even looking or asking which table needed clearing.

Luna mentioned that the hotel's breakfast was delicious and diverse, even thoughtfully advising us to go early to avoid the crowds that start around 8 AM. Taxis to major shopping centers like Tianyi Hui and China World are very affordable, costing only 7-10 yuan, or you can take the subway for 2 yuan. I'm definitely planning to visit again next month. After getting out of the car, a staff member proactively asked if I needed help with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was also very fast. I often come here for holidays, and every stay has been great. However, I have to mention something this time. The air conditioning in the room was broken and wasn't cooling. The engineering team responded quickly and fixed it soon, so I finally felt the cold air in the room on such a hot day. But, it stopped cooling again shortly after. Then there's the buffet restaurant. The first day was good, but the second day was a very bad experience. I asked the service staff multiple times to clear the dishes from the previous guests. The first time, a female server came but only took a few plates from the table. She didn't wipe the table or set new cutlery and then disappeared. I asked again, and even though they clearly saw me, they pretended not to, looking away immediately after making eye contact. This happened many times afterwards. Two or three servers were gathered in the cutlery area, seemingly emptying leftover food into the trash. The question is, does this really require so many people at once? Later, my child directly went to ask a server to help clear the table. The server dismissively told my child to 'wait a moment,' without even looking or asking which table needed clearing.

When I returned to pick up my luggage after check-out, I met Leo, who also proactively asked about our experience.
