HOTEL SAGAR INTERNATIONAL

7.2/1030 Reviews
Durg|1.09km from city center
Sagar international has been one of the best hotels in durga for ages now, the highlight being it's walking distance from the railway station. The hotel infrastructure is like any 4 star hotel and staff in general is good. However there are a lot of things you will need to take note off: 1) room category and pricing: we took a penthouse room looking at the size of 400 sq feet and pics. However, the room category doesn't exist! the room provided was a galaxy room which was almost half the size and definitely not the one in pics. I paid for the room whereas the hotel reception's rate card for a galaxy room was with a 24 hours checkin/ checkout model. The reception staff never agreed to this though. Hence, as a suggestion, look at multiple rooms across categories and then choose your room. Also, check the ac functioning before hand. 2) the breakfast included is very basic. Don't expect much. 3) the room service food is fast but very passable. Order room service only if you need to. You will get far better food nearby or through zomato at half the price. We did a late checkout for an additional amount which was quite ok.

The Roman Park is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Durg will find that the Roman Park is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Durg Juction just 7km away and Swami Vivekananda Airport only 51km away, transportation is very convenient. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Mahmara Anicut Shivnath River Ram Mandir, radha krishna temple Mahesh Colony and Gayatri Mandir shivashram Pulgaon chowk. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. When it comes to Durg hotels, the The Roman Park is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.

The staff was nice and cooperative. Room is neat and clean as well. But some switch and remote was not working. The biggest concern was that sensors lock was not working so we had to open the door by manual key but sometimes that wasn't working as well. My request to the hotel team that provide better condition room.
