To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but it was quite impressive and enjoyable. Some of the structures were rather shoddily made, but others were very elaborately constructed, and the scale was simply enormous. I had a hard time finding the American zone and finally found it at the end. The shows held at various times were also quite large-scale, with fireworks and projection mapping. Luckily, a Chinese idol group was also there, and I was able to enjoy a concert. I recommend going around 4 pm to watch the sunset.

My 19-year-old son and I were absolutely delighted. The price was incredibly low for such a wonderful place. It was convenient to buy a trip pass. We couldn't get around the entire park in one evening; we simply didn't have the energy. We arrived at 6 PM, and the lights came on. It was like a fairy tale. There was so much beauty all around, it was beyond words.

Unfortunately, it rained, and many programs were cancelled. It's very difficult to understand the show's start times; I wish there were more information for foreigners. The WeChat app didn't load for us. We'll try again next time with the kids.

So, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room to find it decorated for a birthday, complete with a mini cake. During my stay, if I had any issues and contacted Joy, she was always prompt and efficient in her responses and problem-solving, never perfunctory.
The room cleaning was very thorough; it wasn't just superficially clean. The bedding was comfortable, and there was no standing water or grime in the bathroom corners, which made for a truly comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and bright, and all the facilities I used daily worked smoothly. It was a very pleasant experience to relax in the room.
When needed, issues were also handled immediately.
The hotel's location is also very convenient. Getting a taxi or finding a restaurant is hassle-free. It's just a 5-minute walk to Coco Park and Ping An Finance Center, saving a lot of commuting time for out-of-town visitors. Overall, it was a very genuine stay, without unnecessary frills. Upon arrival, we were informed that both rooms had been complimentary upgraded to high-floor deluxe rooms, and the birthday decorations inside the rooms were perfect! I'm incredibly satisfied! 😊
**Food:** Breakfast is served at the all-day dining restaurant, the Beer Bar on the 3rd floor. IHG members can move to the Prego Italian restaurant for a quieter atmosphere. The continental buffet breakfast offers a rich variety and excellent quality, including a noodle station and made-to-order omelets. The omelets and black truffle scrambled eggs were particularly amazing!
For lunch, we used a dining voucher at the Fu Lin Men restaurant on the 2nd floor. Note that the voucher can only be used for à la carte stir-fries; it's not applicable for tea or dim sum, and cannot be combined with member discounts or group purchases. The dim sum at Fu Lin Men is excellent; the shrimp dumplings are smooth and tender, the tripe is crisp, and the stir-fries are consistently good. After using the voucher, the total cost for three people was 210 yuan, which was a very satisfying meal overall! 😋

The hotel shares a beach with the InterContinental, which is fantastic – at least it's not overly crowded. The free public beach next door was like a sardine can; you couldn't even move there.
The hotel offers great value for money, and the staff's attitude is excellent. Especially Eva, who checked me in. A big shout-out to her! Communication was smooth throughout, and she was very helpful in arranging the room. Always smiling. My family was also very satisfied with the room.
The breakfast buffet was also good, with everything you'd expect. 9 AM is peak hour, so either go early or go late.
Just a small suggestion: the bathrobes in the room have shrunk from washing. I recommend getting some new ones. The old, worn-out ones should be replaced.

My friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years.
For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. We had a two-bedroom suite, very comfortable. The beds were large and quite spacious. There was a balcony with a table and chairs.
The weather wasn't perfect for swimming, but we walked along the beach, which is nearby.
They replenished the water daily, changed the towels, and cleaned the room.
We thought we needed hooks for coats and bags in the hallway, and at least a small table in the room for a computer or for the family to have tea.
Nearby there's a pizzeria, a fruit market, and an ancient fortress with beautiful streets, goods, and food.

Although Meisu is a little distance from the subway station, there are beaches/snack stalls along the way, so it's okay. The estate itself feels old, and the swimming pool is deserted, but once you enter the house, you’re in another world;
The cleanliness is better than expected, the bed sheets, towels, quilts, sofa and bathtub are also clean and tidy;
Customer service contacted us via WeChat, and the Wifi, door password, and how to get to Meisu were all clear. Even nearby attractions are introduced one by one. Although the response is not immediate, you don’t have to wait too long;
The facilities are very complete. The bathroom supplies are all there. The refrigerator can freeze (which is good for a normal hotel). There is a giant screen with movies to watch, but VIPs can't watch them. However, you can use Air View, and you can prepare your own movies if necessary.
There are two sets of kimonos for everyone to take photos, and the surfaces are very clean. There are also sufficient charging stations in the room, and a charging cable is provided. The bathtub is on the terrace, with disposable bath bags provided. Draw the blinds at night, turn off the terrace lights, and people downstairs won't see you when you stand up.

We came to Shuibei specifically for my birthday to buy jewelry, and the concierge even sent a birthday card and fruit. However, it's an old hotel, and the facilities are showing their age. You have to transfer elevators on the 96th floor, and the toilet was really old-fashioned and uncomfortable to use. Location: Unbeatable! ❤️ Our main goal this Dragon Boat Festival was to explore the Yantian coastline. The hotel is super close to the subway, making Dameisha, Xiaomeisha, and Xichong all easily accessible by metro. It was also convenient to walk to Yating Bay to catch the Haishan Line to Enshang Wetland Park. We had a very fulfilling three-day holiday.
Facilities: The hotel isn't specifically geared towards families, so we only tried the pool, which was good. However, with One City Mall right downstairs, you have everything you need, which is incredibly convenient.
Breakfast: Very satisfied! 😘 Everything was great, except for a bit of a wait during peak hours. They had freshly made wontons and waffles, as well as fresh squeezed juice. All the breads were delicious.

On the first day of our stay, we heard there were a lot of guests, so it took quite a while to get a children's bathrobe. However, the service was much more responsive on the following days. I suggest setting a wait time for the robot when a guest doesn't open the door, to prevent it from waiting indefinitely and delaying other service requests.
The room offers great privacy, and there's a thoughtful drying rack on the balcony. They also provide very soft plastic slippers, so I barely wore my own shoes. The air conditioning was very comfortable. It's a shame the TV doesn't support screen mirroring, but we could watch Hong Kong channels.
The breakfast buffet was very generous, feeling like an efficient production line. There were always freshly made changfen (rice noodle rolls) and noodles ready for immediate pick-up, and the cold and hot dishes at lunch were also delicious. Ordering delivery and shopping for groceries was very convenient; you could pick up everything from the delivery cabinet in one go.
The beach here has coarser sand, and the waves are quite large, which is perfect for frolicking by the sea – a unique kind of fun. The hotel beach isn't far from the public swimming beach, so you can bring a swim ring and experience the deeper waves.
The hotel also has many family-friendly facilities. Free amenities include indoor and outdoor pools and an indoor playground, while paid options include a sightseeing train and a petting zoo. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel it was different from other business hotels. There was no cold, procedural feeling; the concierge proactively remembered my surname and greeted me softly when I passed by. During check-in, the front desk, based on my booked room type, automatically arranged a room with a better view. The lobby even had iced lemon tea to cool me down from the heat of my journey.
The hotel's breakfast was an even bigger surprise. The freshly made wonton noodles had a rich broth, and the pleats of the har gow (shrimp dumplings) exuded authentic Cantonese flavor. Even the Western croissants were baked to a perfect crispy outside and tender inside. The gym and pool facilities were also quite good.
On the day of checkout, because I was rushing for my high-speed train, the front desk prepared my invoice in advance and had the concierge take my luggage directly to the parking lot. We were on a quick staycation from Hong Kong. The hotel room is actually nicer than it looks online- super clean, very nice linens, and surprisingly quiet! The bed was great with comfy pillows (not like usual hard ones), and we really appreciated the good service at the concierge and restaurant. Balcony was perfect for a late night snack and drink while kid was sleeping inside, and wow we had the best view for the craziest thunderstorm ever.
One thing- the beach itself is ok la- there is only one area where swimming is allowed, and there are approximately a million people crammed into that one area. The area is a bit weird, with lots of development, but with some already abandoned buildings.
