This hotel boasts an excellent location near the Songhua River. The staff were incredibly warm and provided great service, even offering a complimentary afternoon tea. Our whole family was very satisfied with our stay. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and it's right next to Central Street, and very close to St. Sophia Cathedral, which is easily reachable on foot. Not bad at all!

The hotel service was truly exceptional. On my first day, I used a toilet seat cover, and from the next day onwards, disposable toilet seat covers were provided daily. Housekeeping was always prompt, and fresh fruit and mineral water were replenished regularly. The bedding was changed every two days. What was even more incredible was that on my last day, while packing, I noticed that all the black scuff marks from baggage handling on my suitcase had been wiped clean! The location is also superb. A left turn leads to the Hongzhuan Street morning market, and a short walk to the right takes you to Central Street. I never had breakfast at the hotel because there were so many great food options nearby. I'd go out in the morning, come back for a rest at noon, and then head out again in the afternoon, feeling completely refreshed. Wandering around the old streets near the hotel, you can find beautiful small churches and old buildings – absolutely fantastic! If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Stayed two nights at the Shangri-La with my family (two adults, one child) during the May Day holiday. The lovely front desk staff upgraded our room upon check-in and gave my child a complimentary drink. The room, as others have mentioned, felt a little dated, but the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay, and we slept very well both nights. We had breakfast at 8 AM and didn't have to wait for a table. The location is superb, convenient for both taxis and the subway. I'd like to acknowledge that every staff member we encountered at this legitimate five-star hotel was incredibly warm and polite, demonstrating their professional service! A special shout-out to Wang Jingwen and Geng Jiamei. I recommend the Shangri-La.

The experience at the New Paris Hotel was absolutely fantastic! 🏨 The room was super clean and tidy; as someone who pays attention to details, I couldn't find a single flaw 😛. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help and very thoughtful, especially the male manager (the one without glasses)! He was mature, steady, polite, and maintained appropriate boundaries with guests. The facilities were also comprehensive, making for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning, expansive views of the frozen Songhua River, which was truly breathtaking. The in-room floor heating kept everything incredibly warm, a stark contrast to the icy outdoors, making it super comfortable. The service was exceptionally thoughtful. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and the bellhops proactively helped with luggage. The entire experience was fantastic. The dining was also outstanding; the松咖啡 (Song Cafe) buffet offered a wide variety, and the service from Linda and Joker at the Executive Lounge was particularly attentive. The 270° constant temperature infinity pool was absolutely amazing. Swimming while enjoying the river views made all my fatigue instantly melt away. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, making it perfect for both leisure and business trips. Highly recommended!

For guests with medical needs, the hotel's proximity to the pulmonary hospital is a huge advantage. Whether it's an emergency requiring immediate attention or accompanying a friend or family member for check-ups and treatments, it saves a significant amount of travel time and cost, making it convenient and efficient. Furthermore, being near a hospital often means there are accompanying medical facilities like pharmacies, making it easier for guests to purchase medications if needed.

For my trip to Harbin, I chose to stay at the Fairfield by Marriott, and my overall experience was excellent. The hotel's environment is quiet and elegant, public areas are clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The location is superb, very close to Harbin Station, making travel and catching trains incredibly convenient. With excellent transportation links nearby, it’s perfect for sightseeing. The hotel offers comprehensive facilities, and the guest rooms are well-designed and very comfortable. They also have a wide variety of fitness equipment, so you can work out and relax in your free time, meeting your daily exercise needs. Both the guest rooms and public areas are impeccably clean; the rooms are bright and tidy, with no strange odors or clutter. The staff are warm, attentive, and friendly, responding quickly when needed, which made my stay feel very pleasant. Overall, it offers great value for money, with convenient travel, a comfortable environment, and attentive service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin!

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig Harbin|2.82km from city center
Let's start with the positives: The room was very clean, so no worries about hygiene. The environment is nice, and it's convenient for getting around. The facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable. Now for the negatives: Most of the front desk staff were polite, but there was a lack of thoughtful consideration when assigning rooms. I was traveling alone with a very large suitcase and had booked a king-size bed room. The front desk asked if I was checking in alone, and I confirmed. However, upon entering the room, I found there was hardly any space to open and lay out my suitcase. I eventually had to prop it up against the bathroom door, which made getting in and out of the bathroom very difficult. When I called to request a larger room, I was bluntly told that the room I booked was this size. I was quite surprised; did they think I hadn't stayed in many hotels before, or did they genuinely not have any other rooms available? I hope the hotel provides better training in this regard, as communicating with guests like that is sure to lead to more complaints.

Mercure is consistently good, as always. The front desk even upgraded my room. The room had a weight scale, a full-length mirror, and ample space for hanging clothes. The bathroom was very spacious. The mattress was comfortable, and the window insulation was excellent, even coming with earplugs. The bathroom also provided wet wipes, and the minibar had Coke and Sprite. The slippers were comfortable too. I found the air conditioning a bit tricky to use, and it was slightly cold at night. There was a clock display by the bed, which I wasn't sure if it was for calling the front desk – it seemed a bit complicated for older guests. I also suggest adding smart control for the speakers. The service was excellent; the front desk staff were very gentle and helpful. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. The breakfast tasted good; it would be even better if there were more local food options.

It does not have the best location as compared with the other branches I’ve stayed at but it has similar standards with cleanliness and amenities. Their breakfast menu was not as extensive but the food was delicious. Trip.com offers a late checkout for using their platform to book but the staff from reception kept on calling and demanding we checkout, which was only an hour from their checkout time.

The hotel's location is pretty good, a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle. It's a short distance from Central Street, and taxis are easy to catch – you can even get a DiDi (ride-sharing service) right to the entrance. This makes it super convenient to head straight to the hotel and change after arriving from the airport, instead of having to change there.

The hotel is tucked away on Tongjiang Street, just behind Central Avenue, about an 8-10 minute walk away. The location is excellent, with St. Sophia Church, Stalin Park, the Songhua River, and Parkson Shopping Center all nearby! It's an absolutely fantastic spot. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants around. I highly recommend the 'Tie Guo Dun' (iron pot stew) next door – specifically the 'xiaoguo hubing' (small pot stew with pancakes) – which was a recommendation from the hotel's front desk staff. For a 'Southern potato' like me, the flavor might be a little strong, but it's really good! The chicken feet were so tender they melted in your mouth. From the lobby to the rooms, there's a faint floral scent. For a family trip, the room size is perfectly adequate for a family of three. Details like toothbrushes and shampoo are all provided, and if you need anything, just call the front desk and they'll bring it right away – the service is superb! The rooms are never cold; the temperature is just right for sleeping at night! It was my first time experiencing the heating system here in Northeast China, and it was very comfortable! For breakfast, we had the hotel's in-house breakfast, which is Russian cuisine on the first floor. We chose the fried noodles, and the noodles had a perfect texture. Everyone should give it a try! The hotel staff described it as 'New Chinese Russian cuisine'! It was my first time trying it and it was delicious!! Arriving in Harbin, I immediately felt the snow falling! Very lucky! I took so many photos of the snowy scenery!

The hotel was spotless and impeccably clean. Sofitel Harbin's hygiene truly exceeded expectations. The room was dust-free, and the bedding was pristine, smooth, and soft against the skin, without any stains or odors. The bathroom was cleaned exceptionally thoroughly; the tiles and mirrors gleamed like new, and the toilet and sink were spotless. The wet and dry areas were completely dry with no standing water, and even the floor drains and corners were sparkling. Daily housekeeping was meticulous and prompt with replenishing supplies. The cleaning staff were professional and attentive. As someone very particular about cleanliness, I couldn't find a single flaw throughout my stay. I felt incredibly at ease and comfortable. This is definitely the gold standard for hygiene among five-star hotels in Harbin. The laundry room is also fantastic, with a sofa and TV where you can relax while your clothes are being washed. Highly recommended!

A bit disappointed. We were driving, so parking was our top priority. Many hotels near Central Street either only have a few parking spots right at the entrance or no parking at all. This hotel has its own parking lot, and the location is indeed excellent, very close to Central Street. However, the room was tiny, pitifully so; the bed was right there as soon as you opened the door. And the facilities were very, very old. I honestly felt that for this price, the room was a huge letdown – the discrepancy was just too big. The front desk staff, though, were quite friendly and good. I forgot to take pictures, so I used the hotel's images. The pictures are accurate, but in reality, the facilities are much older.

The room experience was fantastic! Cleanliness and tidiness are a given, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable; sleeping on it was incredibly restorative. After a long day of exploring, just lying down felt incredibly therapeutic. Additionally, the hotel's public areas are very stylishly designed. This was by far the best hotel experience during my trip to Harbin, every detail perfectly matched my aesthetic and preferences. The decor of the Qixia room completely captivated me – a warm, natural wood palette throughout. Stepping inside felt like instantly settling into a cozy forest cabin. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire space bright and airy, and that oversized bathtub by the window was the highlight of my stay. Soaking in it every evening, watching the skyline turn a beautiful orange-pink, just melted all my fatigue away. I absolutely have to commend the room's island counter design and the faucets; the quality is superb. Detail-oriented guests will truly appreciate this thoughtful design. Upon check-in, we received complimentary welcome fruits and a couple's cake. When I didn't feel like going out for lunch, I ordered room service – the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork). It was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce was absolutely divine, easily comparable to any famous local restaurant. The dessert section in the executive lounge was a hidden gem; every small cake was exquisite and delicious. The breakfast on the second day was an even bigger surprise – the freshly brewed Ewenki milk tea was rich and unique, and the croissants and Danish pastries from the bakery section had excellent flaky textures. There's a 42-degree hot spring pool in the swimming area, which is such a rare find in a city hotel. After a swim, soaking in the hot water really opened up my pores; it must be even more wonderful to visit in winter. From the moment I stepped into the sky lobby on the 42nd floor, I was immersed in a powerful tribal aesthetic: reindeer, 'chuoluozi' (tepee-like tents), and birch bark handicrafts everywhere. I spent a long time flipping through the faux-leather textured booklet and Ewenki-themed books in the room. Coupled with the set of hand-drawn creative postcards on the desk, it felt like receiving a gift from the vast forests of the Greater Khingan Mountains. Before checking out, I specifically went to see the Arctic-themed photography exhibition on the first floor. The exhibition was thoughtfully curated, showing just how much effort the hotel puts into cultural promotion. The lobby service was consistently warm and attentive. The butler proactively introduced the facilities and helped carry luggage to the room, and room service responses were very prompt. Overall, it felt like being genuinely cared for, rather than just experiencing standardized politeness.

This hotel truly excels in every aspect, from service to amenities. The thoughtful touches in the room, like the humidifier, wet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers, earplugs, and plastic slippers, show they really consider the guest's perspective. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. When I checked out, they even offered a 'princess treatment' service, escorting me all the way to my ride-sharing car. I noticed many families staying here, which makes sense given the excellent family-friendly services. The front desk offers a breakfast voucher for just one yuan, and for multiple guests staying multiple nights, they thoughtfully arrange rooms together. Breakfast itself is delicious and varied, with the crispy fried pork (guoba rou) and tofu pudding being particular highlights.

Harbin was the last stop on our road trip. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from Saint Sophia Cathedral. The room was spacious and well-equipped, clean and hygienic. The most unexpected bonus was the parking lot in the back, which was incredibly convenient. Both the front desk and cleaning staff provided excellent service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Incredible value for money! Highly recommend!

If I'm in Harbin's Haxi district, Wanda Realm is always my top choice. This time, I picked it because I was accompanying my parents for a medical check-up at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University. The service was excellent, the environment was elegant and comfortable, and the room was spotless. It even happened to be my birthday, and they surprised me with a birthday cake! Such thoughtful and meticulous service!

This hotel room is one of the most functional I've stayed in for years. It's perfectly square with a very practical layout. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a bathtub, and a drying rack. The shower has great water pressure, which is really comfortable. You can easily open a large suitcase, and there's space to hang both long and short clothes.

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig Harbin|2.08km from city center
Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

Five-star review! The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was great. It's super convenient for getting around, very close to the subway. Our check-in experience was fantastic. My friend and I came for a trip and definitely didn't pick the wrong hotel. The bed was really soft, and the room was spacious and bright. There's even an amusement park within the resort, so if you get tired of staying in the hotel, you can go wander around – it's all very interesting. The entire park has a European castle architectural style, which is beautiful and perfect for photos. Plus, all the staff were wonderful, with very friendly service. There's also a shuttle bus within the park, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was incredibly rich and awesome! We even happened to catch a newly opened venue within the park and went to check it out – it was so dreamy and huge, you could even do cosplay! It was amazing. No matter where you went, the staff were always super nice. 👍

Harbin Railway Station/Gogol Street/The first affiliated hospital of H Harbin|0.47km from city center
This hotel is in a very convenient location. It is very close to the main interchange between the first and second lines of the subway, meaning that you can get to major tourist destinations (like Ice and Snow World and ZhongYang street) very easily.  The staff are very helpful. They helped us use the coffee machine in the foyer and recommended good restaurants. They were also good when I was feeling sick. They gave us lollies to give me energy and information for the hospital.    The hotel was very clean, had free laundry machines and had a very inviting lobby. The lobby had an assortment of warm drinks, some sweets, and snacks. It was also nice and warm, especially compared to the frigid temperatures outside. There was also quite a bit of comfortable seating to rest on.  If I ever return to Harbin, I will definitely stay here again.

Shida Night Market/Jiangnan University Town Harbin|1.83km from city center
This National Day holiday, my daughter and I traveled to Northeast China. We took the train from Shanghai to Harbin. Since we were going to Harbin Institute of Technology for an aerospace research trip the next day, we stayed at the Hongjiang Jialan Hotel that night. The hotel is right next to Harbin Institute of Technology, which is a great location. The rooms are very spacious, and there are robot services. The price is also reasonable, so I would highly recommend it.
