Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig Harbin|2.8km from city center
I chose the Huater Hotel for my trip to Harbin. This hotel has quite obvious pros and cons, so I'll give an objective review for everyone's rational consideration. 1. **Location** It's very close to the northern section of Central Street, which is the hotel's biggest advantage. This location is truly convenient. At night, you can leisurely stroll around Central Street without worrying too much about time. When you're tired from walking, it's just a few minutes back to the hotel. 2. **Service** As soon as I entered the hotel, I felt the staff's enthusiasm. The bellhop helped with luggage and provided a map of the surrounding area. However, just like other instances of sudden 'enthusiastic service' I encountered in Harbin, there was always a catch. The bellhop helped take photos and even prepared captions, so guests could just post them directly. So, that's how high ratings are achieved! Does this mean hotel ratings won't be as meaningful in the future? Aside from the initial 'fiery' enthusiasm upon arrival, the service attitude for daily interactions like entering and leaving the hotel or general communication was noticeably much more lukewarm. The difference was quite stark. 3. **Food and Beverage** The hotel's dining is what I want to complain about the most. Having stayed in so many hotels, this was the worst breakfast I've ever had. Besides the boiled eggs tasting normal, there wasn't a single dish that tasted good; in fact, several dishes were extremely unpalatable. The milk and soy milk were both made from powder, and the bread slices didn't look high quality. The boiled wontons had no dried shrimp, no nori, not even salt, and the filling wasn't good. The 'sliced pork with sauce' (溜肉段) and fried shrimp or fish were all batter; there was barely anything inside, and crucially, they weren't even fully fried. It was genuinely awful. This breakfast standard is nowhere near what you'd expect from a five-star hotel; it's even worse than some three-star hotels. I tried to communicate with the hotel to see if I could cancel breakfast for the remaining days and get a refund or some compensation to eat out, but I was politely refused. Well, I guess I'll just have to make do with a bite, pretending it's to save time and control my weight. There was also a complimentary afternoon tea from the hotel. I did check it out in the afternoon, and it honestly didn't whet my appetite. I can't even describe it; you'd understand if you saw it. 4. **Facilities** The room size was advertised as 45 square meters, but it felt more like 30 square meters. Guests aren't ******; I know what a 45-square-meter room looks like. But I didn't bother arguing about it, as the size was still decent and sufficient. The lighting, equipment, water pressure, etc., were acceptable for a four-star hotel, I suppose, but clearly not five-star. The overstatement is quite obvious. The hotel has no swimming pool and no independent, spacious parking lot, all of which completely fall short of five-star hotel standards. Overall, I feel this hotel is a mixed bag. If you can get a cheap price, combined with its excellent location, staying here could be a good choice. However, absolutely do not consider this a five-star hotel, because whether it's the exterior, the lobby, the room decor, the facilities, or the service, none of it meets five-star criteria. Setting high expectations will only lead to disappointment. Also, I strongly advise against having breakfast at the hotel; it's better to save your appetite and go out to try local Harbin snacks.

This hotel, over a century old, boasts a rich historical ambiance with its Tsarist Russian court design. The lobby is resplendent and dazzling, featuring crystal chandeliers, oil paintings, wine cabinets, and an ornate wrought-iron garden, all showcasing the luxury of the Russian aristocracy. I even donned a 19th-century outfit to experience what it felt like to be a Countess. The hotel service was impeccable. Upon check-in, someone immediately guided us on a tour and provided explanations, including a ride in the century-old elevator. Our luggage was delivered directly to our room, and they were incredibly accommodating, helping us take photos in the court costumes without any hesitation. When we checked out, they even brought our bags to the car – truly doorstep service, highly commendable! This is a highly recommended hotel that is well worth experiencing.

The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around everywhere. The room offers an unobstructed river view. It's very convenient for first-time visitors to stay here. Although the hotel is old, it has been renovated, and the walls, floors, and bathroom are quite new, with great water pressure in the shower. The hardware is exceptionally well-maintained. The hygiene is excellent, and the housekeeping service is very detailed. The front desk staff are attractive, and Rena was particularly great! I'll definitely stay here again when I revisit Harbin.

The New Paris Hotel has an excellent location; right outside, there's a subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The hotel service is great, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The amenities are very complete and well-maintained—the AC, TV, and high-speed WiFi all work perfectly, the shower pressure is stable, and they have everything from a parking lot to leisure areas. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, it meets all your needs. I'll definitely choose this place first for my next trip and sincerely recommend it to everyone!

I originally decided to switch hotels because I was so incredibly disappointed with my stay at the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton. I never expected to stumble upon such a hidden gem: the Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin Songbei. Honestly, this stay made me truly understand that a hotel's real value isn't about how luxurious the lobby is, but about the warmth of its service. At the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton, I experienced a series of issues: my executive lounge access was incorrectly verified, I was publicly told I didn't have executive privileges, some managers were indifferent, the lounge and restaurant service was consistently neglected, and concierges were smoking and playing on their phones, ignoring guests. For an international top-tier luxury hotel, this level of service was truly shocking and completely changed my perception of the Ritz-Carlton brand. After arriving at the Shangri-La Songbei, it was like stepping into a completely different world. From the moment I got out of the car, the bellhop proactively helped open the door and handle my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was warm and efficient. Wherever I went, staff would always greet me with a smile. Most importantly, the staff here made me feel a long-lost sense of respect and genuine sincerity. Often, guests pay for luxury hotels not to admire grand crystal chandeliers, but to receive a service experience that matches the price. Unfortunately, the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton failed in this regard, but the Shangri-La Songbei succeeded, and did so exceptionally well. Although the price is only about one-third of the former, the warmth of the service and attention to detail far exceeded it. If I ever return to Harbin, I will undoubtedly choose the Shangri-La Songbei again and will not consider the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton. Thanks to all the hotel staff for making me feel what true five-star service is all about again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

A hotel with great character! It's only a 2-minute walk from Central Avenue, so the location is superb! It's clean and hygienic. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient! Whether you eat downstairs or order takeout, it's easy. There's no separate shower area, only a bathtub, which might be inconvenient for elderly people with mobility issues. It would be even better if they didn't use Ice Dew bottled water 😃. Breakfast is the same every day!

My stay at the Harbin Sofia Hotel far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, with excellent transport links and easy access to attractions, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. What surprised me most was the room – it was spacious and bright, not cramped at all, and it even came with a separate walk-in closet! There was plenty of storage space, so even with a lot of luggage, everything fit easily. It made for a truly comfortable stay. The hotel service also deserves a huge commendation. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. It felt like a breath of fresh air. Breakfast was another highlight; the variety was immense, a great mix of Chinese and Western options, plus authentic Northeastern specialties. I always left feeling full and ready for the day. The hotel's location is pretty good, a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle. It's a short distance from Central Street, and taxis are easy to catch – you can even get a DiDi (ride-sharing service) right to the entrance. This makes it super convenient to head straight to the hotel and change after arriving from the airport, instead of having to change there.

The hotel is tucked away on Tongjiang Street, just behind Central Avenue, about an 8-10 minute walk away. The location is excellent, with St. Sophia Church, Stalin Park, the Songhua River, and Parkson Shopping Center all nearby! It's an absolutely fantastic spot. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants around. I highly recommend the 'Tie Guo Dun' (iron pot stew) next door – specifically the 'xiaoguo hubing' (small pot stew with pancakes) – which was a recommendation from the hotel's front desk staff. For a 'Southern potato' like me, the flavor might be a little strong, but it's really good! The chicken feet were so tender they melted in your mouth. From the lobby to the rooms, there's a faint floral scent. For a family trip, the room size is perfectly adequate for a family of three. Details like toothbrushes and shampoo are all provided, and if you need anything, just call the front desk and they'll bring it right away – the service is superb! The rooms are never cold; the temperature is just right for sleeping at night! It was my first time experiencing the heating system here in Northeast China, and it was very comfortable! For breakfast, we had the hotel's in-house breakfast, which is Russian cuisine on the first floor. We chose the fried noodles, and the noodles had a perfect texture. Everyone should give it a try! The hotel staff described it as 'New Chinese Russian cuisine'! It was my first time trying it and it was delicious!! Arriving in Harbin, I immediately felt the snow falling! Very lucky! I took so many photos of the snowy scenery!

It's also close to the subway, making it super convenient and stress-free to get to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. The lobby's French decor is grand and exquisite, with crystal chandeliers adding a wonderful ambiance. The guest rooms are clean and spacious, with ample heating. Paired with their signature bedding, the sleep comfort was top-notch. Amenities were fully stocked, and they thoughtfully provided a humidifier, which is perfect for Harbin's dry climate. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, including authentic Harbin red sausage and Russian dishes, alongside Western pastries and freshly ground coffee. The concierge and front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, proactively helping with luggage and planning my itinerary. Choosing the right hotel for this Harbin trip was absolutely crucial! I'm definitely giving a five-star rating to the Atour Hotel (Bingxue Big World Longchuan Road Metro Station). A bit disappointed. We were driving, so parking was our top priority. Many hotels near Central Street either only have a few parking spots right at the entrance or no parking at all. This hotel has its own parking lot, and the location is indeed excellent, very close to Central Street. However, the room was tiny, pitifully so; the bed was right there as soon as you opened the door. And the facilities were very, very old. I honestly felt that for this price, the room was a huge letdown – the discrepancy was just too big. The front desk staff, though, were quite friendly and good. I forgot to take pictures, so I used the hotel's images. The pictures are accurate, but in reality, the facilities are much older.

The view outside the window is beautiful. The location is a bit out of the way, far from the subway. Although it looks close to the Songhua River, there's no direct access, so getting to the riverside is quite a walk. For meals, you have to go about one or two kilometers to a residential area, which has tons of great restaurants. Taxis are super convenient; they pick you up instantly, and it's usually under ten yuan. The room was clean, but the soundproofing was just okay – I could hear kids jumping around next door and their mom scolding them. Breakfast was average, not much variety. Out of the three 5-star hotels I stayed at in Harbin, the Marriott had the least to offer for breakfast. The doormen and the cleaning staff were excellent. Giving a good review out of habit.

Traveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

If I'm in Harbin's Haxi district, Wanda Realm is always my top choice. This time, I picked it because I was accompanying my parents for a medical check-up at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University. The service was excellent, the environment was elegant and comfortable, and the room was spotless. It even happened to be my birthday, and they surprised me with a birthday cake! Such thoughtful and meticulous service!

The environment of this hotel is really great! The location is super good, there is a subway station right outside, and there are restaurants, supermarkets and so on nearby. The lady at the front desk was also very enthusiastic and helped us plan the route, making us feel particularly warm and comfortable😊. The room is spacious and bright, and the scenery on the balcony is even more beautiful! I strongly recommend booking~

I was not impressed. For the price I expected much more. This hotel is old and ran down. In the hallway of my floor, people noisily smoked and made lots of noise. **************** staying here. The front desk people are okay but could definitely use work on their hospitality. Old room, old facilities, junky dirty carpet in the hall. Would not stay again. The only positive was the bed. A painfully average in every way hotel. There are far better options for way less money.

Hadong Wanda Plaza Harbin|9.17km from city center
This hotel room is one of the most functional I've stayed in for years. It's perfectly square with a very practical layout. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a bathtub, and a drying rack. The shower has great water pressure, which is really comfortable. You can easily open a large suitcase, and there's space to hang both long and short clothes.

Stayed for nine days, excellent service, excellent environment and excellent facilities. I also spent New Year’s Eve in the hotel, and invited me to share the New Year’s Eve dinner with the hotel staff for free, and even ate Spring Festival dumplings in the middle of the night! A very excellent hotel, my first choice next time I come to Acheng!

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig Harbin|2.08km from city center
Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

Five-star review! The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was great. It's super convenient for getting around, very close to the subway. Our check-in experience was fantastic. My friend and I came for a trip and definitely didn't pick the wrong hotel. The bed was really soft, and the room was spacious and bright. There's even an amusement park within the resort, so if you get tired of staying in the hotel, you can go wander around – it's all very interesting. The entire park has a European castle architectural style, which is beautiful and perfect for photos. Plus, all the staff were wonderful, with very friendly service. There's also a shuttle bus within the park, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was incredibly rich and awesome! We even happened to catch a newly opened venue within the park and went to check it out – it was so dreamy and huge, you could even do cosplay! It was amazing. No matter where you went, the staff were always super nice. 👍

Harbin Railway Station/Gogol Street/The first affiliated hospital of H Harbin|0.47km from city center
The hotel is very close to the Museum metro station, and directly opposite Qiulin Company. There are also several other shopping malls nearby, making shopping very convenient. The room is quite spacious, and the duvet covers were changed daily. The underfloor heating was more than sufficient, which was great because Harbin winters are really cold! I felt staying here was better than in the Central Street area. If you want to experience some Russian flair, this is a good choice, as Gogol Street has many Russian-style buildings. It's nice to just walk around and explore.

Shida Night Market/Jiangnan University Town Harbin|1.83km from city center
This National Day holiday, my daughter and I traveled to Northeast China. We took the train from Shanghai to Harbin. Since we were going to Harbin Institute of Technology for an aerospace research trip the next day, we stayed at the Hongjiang Jialan Hotel that night. The hotel is right next to Harbin Institute of Technology, which is a great location. The rooms are very spacious, and there are robot services. The price is also reasonable, so I would highly recommend it.

This stay experience really exceeded expectations! The location of the hotel is particularly convenient, and travel and eating around are very worry-free. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, the check-in and check-out were very fast, and the demand response was very timely. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, the price is super high, I will choose this one next time I come here, highly recommended!
