The hotel front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. All the staff were very friendly. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Chongqing, and the breakfast, especially the Chongqing noodles, is a highlight. The noodles taste fantastic, and you can even adjust the spice level yourself – how can you visit Chongqing without trying its noodles? It's also very close to Guanyin Bridge and North Station, so the location is superb and very convenient for getting around. This will definitely be my go-to place every time I visit. The guest services were very enthusiastic, guiding us to the elevators and helping with our luggage. 333 – fantastic!FromPLN 128

We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Chongqing. The breakfast spread was great to start the day.
But the real highlight was China Moon, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. We ended up having all our dinners there during the stay, the food was simply amazing. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared and consistently impressive. It’s rare to find a hotel restaurant you want to return to night after night but China Moon made it easy.FromPLN 212

I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're not too picky about facilities. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Road Food Street. Ordering takeout is easy, though you do have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and the Panda Sightseeing Bus stop is also on the pedestrian street, which is very handy. The room is spacious and comfortable; the family room even has a fridge and a washing machine, which is genuinely convenient. The only downside is that the hotel decor is a bit old, and there aren't many smart features. The breakfast, which includes noodles, Western, and Chinese options, is decent. One great thing is that breakfast is served until 1:30 PM, perfect for late risers like me to grab a brunch. The staff are all proactive about greeting guests, and the room cleaning is quite thorough. A small suggestion: it would be even more convenient if each room in the family suite had a box of tissues and a trash can.FromPLN 191

After watching 'Sweet Talk,' I decided to stay on the Executive Floor. Of course, TV shows are just TV shows; I didn't encounter an Executive Lounge manager like Xu Miyu at the JW Marriott Chongqing. However, choosing the Executive Floor was definitely the right decision. It was very convenient to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening offerings at the 28th-floor Executive Lounge. Gloria from the Executive Lounge was also very welcoming and even checked in on my satisfaction after I had checked out. The coffee capsules and tea bags in the room were also generously stocked. Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch.
Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time.
Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle.
Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused.
The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space.
Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both.
Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful.
All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions.
Overall, a very satisfying stay.FromPLN 399

True to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel, its location is superb. Getting anywhere by taxi is a breeze. The front desk, concierge, and room service staff were all incredibly polite and attentive. We also got to try the complimentary German beer. The room itself was spacious, equipped with a fridge, and our high-floor room offered great views. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring made-to-order noodles and vermicelli. The only minor setback was that the air conditioning unit broke down on the day of our arrival, making the room extremely hot. Even after switching rooms, the issue persisted. The staff kindly brought us iced watermelon and a fan. We hope this kind of 'hard flaw' doesn't happen on our next visit, especially since Chongqing summers can be quite sweltering.FromPLN 198

This hotel is located right across from Bayi Square and is also close to the subway. Stepping out, you're on Bayi Road Food Street, where you can find all sorts of local specialty snacks. The staff were very warm and attentive. When we arrived, they immediately offered us refreshing lemon and plum juice from the hotel's self-service, which was incredibly crisp and tasty. Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. One of the best hotels in downtown. Yuzhong can be quite crowded, and budget hotels like All Seasons are a disaster, so international five-star hotels are really the only option.
Regency is conveniently located next to Jiefangbei, offering easy access to transportation and amenities, along with excellent service. The rooms are spacious and well soundproofed.

This is truly an old hotel, really too old. Despite its grand exterior, staying here is a hassle. The room door lets light through, and the smart light switch is a single button that controls everything, like a camera – I don't really get it. There are multiple storage rooms that offer privacy, yet the shower and toilet have transparent doors directly facing the bed 😅. The AC cooling is also struggling; the vent constantly makes a wheezing sound like an old motor. The TV is a masterpiece – not only is it small, but the sound crackles like a broken radio from the 80s. And the smart curtains work inconsistently, which is quite frustrating. The only two upsides are the good view and the bed being reasonably comfortable.FromPLN 201

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Everyone was so nice and kind. The service was top- notch. The amenities were plenty and easy accessible. A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet. The view was so beautiful and calming as well. Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.
I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see. When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see. It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions. I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing, SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views. Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions. Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.

Definitely not recommended on WARM DAYS because the hotel will turn off AC completely. I stayed at this hotel from 5/8 to 5/11, In-room HVAC only worked on daytime when outdoor temperature reached about 30 degrees, in room temperature was cooling down and comfortable enough. However, the hotel shut down AC system at night because outdoor temperature is not hot enough, that leading to in room temperature went back to 27 degrees, I got totally sleepless. Understood the hotel tried to save money on electricity, but AC system is the one of basic amenity systems and should not shut down the mostly of the days.

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout.
Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair.
Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Choosing the Westin Chongqing Jiefangbei for my trip was absolutely the best decision! I have to give it a huge five-star rating!
First off, the location is unbeatable. The hotel is right in the heart of the Jiefangbei central business district. First and foremost, the hotel's location is superb, right above IFS. It's perfect for both business travelers and tourists. The area downstairs is relatively quiet and pleasant, great for an evening stroll. If you want to visit attractions, you can just cross the bridge.
Secondly, and most importantly, a good hotel ensures a good night's sleep, and Niccolo Chongqing excels at this. As soon as you enter, there's a subtle, soothing fragrance. The bedding is soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a peaceful sleep.

My only complaint is the hairdryer – it's incredibly old, like something from the 80s. You have to constantly hold the button down to get air, and it's so hot it almost burns your scalp.
