The hotel front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. All the staff were very friendly. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Chongqing, and the breakfast, especially the Chongqing noodles, is a highlight. The noodles taste fantastic, and you can even adjust the spice level yourself – how can you visit Chongqing without trying its noodles? It's also very close to Guanyin Bridge and North Station, so the location is superb and very convenient for getting around. This will definitely be my go-to place every time I visit. The guest services were very enthusiastic, guiding us to the elevators and helping with our luggage. 333 – fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Chongqing. The breakfast spread was great to start the day. But the real highlight was China Moon, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. We ended up having all our dinners there during the stay, the food was simply amazing. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared and consistently impressive. It’s rare to find a hotel restaurant you want to return to night after night but China Moon made it easy.

I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're not too picky about facilities. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Road Food Street. Ordering takeout is easy, though you do have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and the Panda Sightseeing Bus stop is also on the pedestrian street, which is very handy. The room is spacious and comfortable; the family room even has a fridge and a washing machine, which is genuinely convenient. The only downside is that the hotel decor is a bit old, and there aren't many smart features. The breakfast, which includes noodles, Western, and Chinese options, is decent. One great thing is that breakfast is served until 1:30 PM, perfect for late risers like me to grab a brunch. The staff are all proactive about greeting guests, and the room cleaning is quite thorough. A small suggestion: it would be even more convenient if each room in the family suite had a box of tissues and a trash can.

After watching 'Sweet Talk,' I decided to stay on the Executive Floor. Of course, TV shows are just TV shows; I didn't encounter an Executive Lounge manager like Xu Miyu at the JW Marriott Chongqing. However, choosing the Executive Floor was definitely the right decision. It was very convenient to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening offerings at the 28th-floor Executive Lounge. Gloria from the Executive Lounge was also very welcoming and even checked in on my satisfaction after I had checked out. The coffee capsules and tea bags in the room were also generously stocked. The hotel's location is very convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby.

Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch. Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time. Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

True to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel, its location is superb. Getting anywhere by taxi is a breeze. The front desk, concierge, and room service staff were all incredibly polite and attentive. We also got to try the complimentary German beer. The room itself was spacious, equipped with a fridge, and our high-floor room offered great views. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring made-to-order noodles and vermicelli. The only minor setback was that the air conditioning unit broke down on the day of our arrival, making the room extremely hot. Even after switching rooms, the issue persisted. The staff kindly brought us iced watermelon and a fan. We hope this kind of 'hard flaw' doesn't happen on our next visit, especially since Chongqing summers can be quite sweltering.

My stay here was absolutely perfect. The hotel's location is fantastic – within walking distance to the business district and subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the mattress was just right, ensuring a sound night's sleep. The soundproofing was particularly excellent. Check-in at the front desk was very efficient, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful; any requests were handled quickly. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and all the ingredients were fresh. This hotel is located right across from Bayi Square and is also close to the subway. Stepping out, you're on Bayi Road Food Street, where you can find all sorts of local specialty snacks. The staff were very warm and attentive. When we arrived, they immediately offered us refreshing lemon and plum juice from the hotel's self-service, which was incredibly crisp and tasty. Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. Across the street from the hotel, you get a great mountain view, and you can even spot the Golden Eagle. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food and exploring!

Regency is conveniently located next to Jiefangbei, offering easy access to transportation and amenities, along with excellent service. The rooms are spacious and well soundproofed. However, with new five-star hotels opening nearby, prices have dropped to around 500, indicating increased competitive pressure.

This is truly an old hotel, really too old. Despite its grand exterior, staying here is a hassle. The room door lets light through, and the smart light switch is a single button that controls everything, like a camera – I don't really get it. There are multiple storage rooms that offer privacy, yet the shower and toilet have transparent doors directly facing the bed 😅. The AC cooling is also struggling; the vent constantly makes a wheezing sound like an old motor. The TV is a masterpiece – not only is it small, but the sound crackles like a broken radio from the 80s. And the smart curtains work inconsistently, which is quite frustrating. The only two upsides are the good view and the bed being reasonably comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.  Everyone was so nice and kind.  The service was top- notch.  The amenities were plenty and easy accessible.   A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet.  The view was so beautiful and calming as well.   Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.     I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see.   When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see.   It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions.  I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing,  SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views.  Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions.  Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.    If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.

After a long and difficult search for a hotel, I stumbled upon this place upon arriving at Jiefangbei that evening, and it perfectly rounded off my entire trip! The location is superb, right next to Jiefangbei, and just a ten-minute walk to Hongyadong. Downstairs, there are countless supermarkets and eateries. Local specialties like 'Bandeng Noodles,' 'Ghost Buns,' and 'Old Chongqing Hotpot' are everywhere, making dining and getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel service is thoughtful and attentive, the rooms are clean and fresh, and they even have a fridge, which is a real lifesaver for cooling down in the summer. I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing – it's definitely a hidden gem!

The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around; it's less than a 15-minute taxi ride to Chongqing North Station. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Zhu, provided excellent service. When I checked out, they even gave me a cultural and creative fridge magnet and a luggage tag. The hotel room was spotless, and the housekeeping staff was really quick to bring extra water when I needed it. Definitely not recommended on WARM DAYS because the hotel will turn off AC completely. I stayed at this hotel from 5/8 to 5/11, In-room HVAC only worked on daytime when outdoor temperature reached about 30 degrees, in room temperature was cooling down and comfortable enough. However, the hotel shut down AC system at night because outdoor temperature is not hot enough, that leading to in room temperature went back to 27 degrees, I got totally sleepless. Understood the hotel tried to save money on electricity, but AC system is the one of basic amenity systems and should not shut down the mostly of the days. Moldy grout, moldy caulking are all around the shower, the picture attached. Non adjustable shower head with fixed holder need upgraded. That shows lack of the maintenance for rooms. Room attendant provided great service she could and made me feel comfortable and welcome. All failures are belonging the management related to budget control.

The room was really nice, with a huge bed. The private hot spring filled up quickly with thermal water. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very welcoming and check-in was smooth, with great service. After a late-night soak, I called for room service at midnight and the bathrobes were delivered promptly. The lamb hot pot in the set meal had a generous amount of lamb and offal. The breakfast buffet was much more abundant than standard, and the pea and ground pork noodles were especially delicious. Nanquan hot spring is right across from the hotel, so the location is excellent.

Good location, walkable to Hongyadong, temple, night street,. Nice view on 15th floor. Quite Clean and good smell. Good tea shop at the back and Free 1 set a day for guests. Self laundry is free and they said detergent already in machine but after washing not smell good. 4 machines but Quite busy, and after few hours drying clothes still damp. Breakfast is not good for me, not variety. There's only local food, noodles is mostly rice noodles, very greasy, spicy or bland, and has very little meat and vegetables, even chicken noodle is only chickens neck, no meat at all. Buns is not so good too, and 2 days no dumplings available. The lady staff wasn’t so helpful, she can speaks English but just wait for your orders without saying or explain much.

We came to Chongqing during the hottest weather, driven by curiosity and using my child's travel as the perfect excuse. I booked this hotel, which is considered the best for families wanting to visit Raffles City. Our room directly faced Raffles City, allowing us to see people commuting in the mornings and evenings. Outside the hotel, there's a small night market with various graffiti on the walls, making for great photo opportunities. The room facilities were perfectly adequate for us; the size was just right, and our stay was very comfortable. The Riverside Road is just outside the hotel, and during our evening strolls, we saw many girls taking photos and lots of messages of well wishes on the walls. It was a really pleasant experience.

Choosing the Westin Chongqing Jiefangbei for my trip was absolutely the best decision! I have to give it a huge five-star rating! First off, the location is unbeatable. The hotel is right in the heart of the Jiefangbei central business district. It's just a few minutes' walk downstairs to Jiefangbei Monument and Bayi Delicious Street, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The nearby subway station also makes getting to various attractions incredibly easy. Then there's the service, which was truly exceptional! The day before check-in, a staff member from the hotel's guest experience department proactively called me and then added me on WeChat. They sent detailed check-in instructions and various practical tips in advance, which made me feel completely at ease even before arriving. During my stay, any questions I had on WeChat were answered promptly, with a very quick response time. From the front desk to housekeeping, every employee was warm, attentive, professional, and efficient, truly making me feel at home! The breakfast was another major highlight! The variety was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western delicacies, plus authentic local specialties like Chongqing noodles and spicy wontons. Every morning, I had a super satisfying meal! Finally, the room was spotless and tidy, with extremely high hygiene standards. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the Westin's 'Heavenly Bed' was truly amazing to sleep on – I had a wonderful night's rest! In summary, this stay was perfect, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Chongqing!

I stayed at Niccolo Chongqing for a total of 7 days this time, and my overall experience was excellent. First and foremost, the hotel's location is superb, right above IFS. It's perfect for both business travelers and tourists. The area downstairs is relatively quiet and pleasant, great for an evening stroll. Although the hotel is a bit dated, the basic facilities are well-maintained, and the service was excellent. They even upgraded me to a river-view room, and the rooftop offers a fantastic panoramic view of the city at night! My only complaint is the hairdryer – it's incredibly old, like something from the 80s. You have to constantly hold the button down to get air, and it's so hot it almost burns your scalp. I called reception, and they said there were no other hairdryers available to swap it out. Seriously, how can a hotel still have a hairdryer like this in this day and age? After blow-drying my hair, I was sweating all over again. Don't they think about updating these kinds of amenities?

Whenever I go to Chongqing, I always visit Guanghuan Plaza, which reminded me of this hotel nearby. After checking in, all I can say is that I got a five-star hotel experience for less than 800 yuan. First, let's talk about the room layout: two 1.35-meter single beds can be combined to form a massive 2.7-meter double bed. This is perfect if you're staying with kids – plenty of space. The room also has a bathtub, and crucially, it came with disposable bathtub liners (I forget the exact term!). Plus, the children's amenities provided were really good quality, not just an afterthought. What's even more impressive is that they placed dental floss right on the vanity – all the little touches were delightful. The product manager truly deserves commendation. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a wide variety of delicious food. What really blew me away was finding steamed red dates at a buffet for the first time – that's a treat I usually only get at home!
